Rakkan Ramen Dtla

( 8 reviews ) $$

359 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States

“I was looking for some good ramen and this place was so good! I took the train so idk about parking. It was small inside so there was a short wait. Wait wasn't bad although I wish you didn't have to wait there because I felt like I was in the way on the sidewalk. But it was worth it. Workers were nice and the vegan ramen was so good. Good portion and price and really tasty. Highly recommend.”

Daikokuya Monterey Park
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

111 N Atlantic Blvd UNIT 241, Monterey Park, CA 91754, United States

“My first time here after hearing so many good things from my husband since he grew up eating at this place. We got the combo which was the noodles, rice with beef and a salad. I got their house special noodles which is the daikokuya noodles. Overall K thought it was ok. The noodles were a bit starchy. But the broth was creamy just enough, although I felt like there wasn’t enough char shiu meat in my noodles, just very little and thinly sliced. We also got CA rolls and they were very good. I’ll try other dishes next time.”

“Really enjoyed my meal at Naruto Ramen! The seafood ramen was a standout, brimming with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. While everything was tasty, there's a slight room for improvement in other areas. Nevertheless, a solid 4 stars and I'll certainly be back!”

2314 S Union Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007, United States

“I hadn't been here in many years but it was just as good as I remember it. I sent on a random weeknight and the place was full of college students, obviously, since it's so close to USC. They have a cool reverse happy hour with decently prices items. I ordered a number of their vegan options that were clearly marked and everything was delicious. The servers and staff were very friendly and attentive. I won't wait as long for my next return visit.”

Hokkaido Tomen Santouka
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

3760 S Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066, United States

“Possibly the best ramen in the area. Get the salt ramen. The soup has a deep richness with some hint of fermentation, possibly miso or mirin. The pork belly is tender and fresh. The toppings varied and were complimentary. Pricing is a great deal. Overall, such a hidden gem for the area”

Ramen Izakaya Van Nuys
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

13727 Victory Blvd, Valley Glen, CA 91401, United States

“We recently had the pleasure of dining at Izakaya Ramen, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The cozy ambiance combined with the delicious food made for a truly memorable meal. First and foremost, let's talk about their spicy miso ramen. It was absolutely phenomenal! The broth had the perfect balance of heat and umami, leaving a lingering, satisfying spice on my palate. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings added a delightful texture and flavor. If you're a fan of spicy ramen, I highly recommend giving this dish a try at Izakaya Ramen. Next up was the fried California roll, and it was a delightful surprise. The roll was expertly prepared with a crisp and golden exterior, while the inside was filled with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The combination of the crunchy tempura batter and the creamy filling was a match made in heaven. It was a unique twist on a classic dish, and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Lastly, let's talk about the mochi ice cream. It was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. The mochi had a delicate, chewy texture, and the ice cream filling was lusciously smooth. The flavors were authentic and delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. It was a delightful treat that left me wanting more. I must also mention the exceptional service provided by our server, Karla. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. Karla's warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall positive experience at Izakaya Ramen. Parking is enough for 14 or more cars at the back.”

Rococo Ramen
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

16931 Devonshire St, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States

“Pleasantly surprised with how the good the Chashu Pork Buns were. 👌🏼 The ramen was also flavorful. I found that the Tonkotsu ramen was too rich for my taste, but the Chashu was fatty. We liked the Shoyu better, but the Chashu included was very lean, so it feels like we missed out on the fat. Atmosphere was okay. Not a lot of people around 5pm. It was a bit dark though. Overall, love the food and will come back!”

Ramenya

11660 Gateway Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064, United States

“Me and my dad enjoy eating Ramenya’s Basic Ramen and Fried Rice. Yesterday we still have the Basic Ramen and this time we have Gyoza for a side dish. I heard that they used to live in Olympic Street before coming to Gateway Blvd. You can either eat inside or outside. Whatever feels comfortable for you when coming to Ramenya. So if you see a Heart Shaped on the Menu that means it is there most popular dish. They also have a Vegetarian Ramen meals on the Menu. So I would definitely come back to enjoy a nice hot Ramen.”

Lab Rear Amen & Sushi

5224 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, United States

“Great place to stop by and have yourself a meal! Staff was very friendly, food came out quick and cooked very well. I got a ramen with the chashu bowl combo, def very filling. Only thing I that made me not give it 5/5 was the small chashu bowl had more protein than the ramen itself.”
