“We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my overall experience was marred by significant issues with billing that have yet to be addressed by the management. The restaurant, though offering a pleasant ambiance, overcharged us on the night of our visit. We promptly paid the amount on our credit card, only to discover later that the same charge had been added to our room bill as well. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the management via phone calls and emails, there has been no response or effort to rectify this error. Another financial hiccup involved a daily fee for the gym, which was closed during our stay. We were assured a refund, but once again, our attempts to follow up on this matter have gone unanswered. It seems that the hotel is quick to charge for various amenities, even for a simple cup of self-serve coffee in the morning, without providing the promised services. On a positive note, the hotel is well decorated, offering a comfortable and spacious room with a cozy bed. However, the thin walls are a significant drawback, allowing guests to hear everything happening in adjacent rooms. The bathroom, while serviceable, is smaller and somewhat outdated, with a few areas featuring dirty tile floors—more a result of age than neglect. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel, particularly if you plan to visit the restaurant. Be vigilant when checking your bill for accuracy, and be prepared for challenges if you need to dispute any charges. Despite the attractive decor and comfortable rooms, the lack of responsiveness and accountability from the management significantly tarnished my overall impression of this establishment.”

My sister was too young to do hair relaxin one of the girls did her hair for free when she saw her sad. The swimming pool services are beyond. Baby sitting services are excellent. The car services and the driver top I just love to go back Thank you so much for making it one of my happiest memories”

“Another great stay at a home2 suites. Stayed 6 nights with a guest and while the hot breakfast was limited there was an enormous amount of fresh muffins, bagels, cereal, yogurt and add ons. The staff still makes up the rooms daily and the front desk was very helpful in solving an initial problem (we caused). If the prices stay comparable once the Top Golf and Golf Course opens, we would stay here again. Note... The location gave us many paths to avoid the inhumane LA traffic.”

“Overall it’s nice. Very clean rooms and The staff were wonderful and the most memorable thing about the place. They helped us sort out a room with a king sized bed when I messed up the booking and were super sweet to me while explaining what I got wrong. 10/10 front desk. We didn’t swim but the pool looked beautiful. A few gripes were that there was no hot water. Showers only get lukewarm (my girlfriend got sick and was absolutely dying for a hot shower to help her feel better.) and there’s not much in the way of water pressure. House keeping/maintenance also tried coming in twice while we were indecent which wasn’t cool. I understand house keeping checks but there was literally no knocking or warning. The only thing that saved us was the metal latch. There also aren’t microwaves in the rooms which is fine I guess but figured for $170 a night they’d have one. The location also is a bit out of the way but has lots of fast food options nearby as well as a liquor store right next door. (Which is a bit pricey)”

“Their carpet and furniture looked new and clean. It was quiet to sleep and had a view to the city (which is hard for a hotel in a big city). Their front desk helped reservations from another website well (some places say they can't help due to another website) even on the phone and sent towels/blankets to the room right away. They provide free parking and an assigned parking slip, showing that only customers staying in the hotel can park there, and they manage their parking lot (not all hotels do). Very happy to finally find a place to stay when visiting this area, despite two suggestions below. Hotels in Downtown LA charge too much for parking ($50-$70) with mostly only valet parking. Hotels near the ocean usually have only some views and low quality rooms. ------- suggestions 1. A microwave in the room will help a lot, for people to have a quick breakfast from taken out food, brush teeth, and leave. Their microwave was in the break room near their parking lot, somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise, need to go outside for breakfast, come back, and leave again. 2. A bigger refrigerator than their mini one will help people who are traveling for multiple days and need certain things.”

We didn’t eat in the hotel, but the restaurants did look good and the atmosphere was nice. We chose to park in the public lot nearby, which was a fraction of the hotel valet fee. I’d stay again overall.”

“I stay here exactly one year ago today. The hotel is really nice. The breakfast was good. You got to beat the crowd though. The accomodations are very nice. The manager should check behind the house keeping staff. There was hair on the bathroom floor, candy on the by the bed. The tub needed a thorough cleaning.The sink stopper didn't work and my last two days, the shower was ice cold, no matter how long I let the water run. Would stay at the location again? YES! It is a nice hotel with nice rooms. The location is nice but nothing in walking distance but a gas station and a Jack in the Box, and a Denny's where I had to send my food back. 🙂”

“Lobby and shared areas are like an oasis.. Open, inviting with lots of interesting things to look at and experience. Bar is well stocked and bartenders are very friendly. Just be prepared for small spaces in rooms, really just for sleeping as you experience the rest that the city has to offer. They are filled with technology and good use of space, but they are tiny! Not an issue for long time married couple..”

“I only gave 4 stars because at breakfast, the egg option was hard boiled - they were inedible due to the excessive cook time. I know it's a free breakfast, but those protein options are horrible. The room was fine. Everything seemed pretty new, and the shower was quite large. I was in room 224, which has a view of the pool. I was only there a short night, so activity at the pool didn't exist, but I could see how, at a busy time, it might get loud. Trying to draw the privacy curtain was a challenge due to where the desk/TV stand was positioned. Room was nice and clean, I didn't hear much noise and the bed was ok.”

“I’m a fan of the Pendry brand, I’ve stayed in Pendry Hotels in several different locations. The hotels have a luxury aesthetic, The West Hollywood location is no exception. The property is beautiful, the room I stayed in was had gorgeous views as well. The staff was friendly overall, I had a few challenges that were addressed successfully by management. The location is within walking distance to many high end restaurants, shopping venues and entertainment. The Comedy Store is located across the street from the hotel. I recommend.”

“I had a short trip to LA and Samesun Venice was perfect for me. It is located right at the beach and is surrounded by fun places and eateries. The ocean view from my room is nice and also the view from the lounge is great too. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was big and the hot water was great! The quality of their free shampoo, conditioner and body soap was not bad. I had a long thick hair but their shampoo and conditioner worked for my untamed hair :) The service was also fabulous. Gus and Heather are friendly and kind. We could trust that they would do their best to accommodate what we need if they could. I would definitely come back to stay here when I come back to LA.”
