St Gertrude The Great Catholic Church
4.8
( 8 reviews )

7025 Garfield Ave, Bell Gardens, CA 90201, United States

“Went to mass this past Sunday and witnessed the priest publicly shaming a mother and then implied that parents should slap their children when disrespected. Unfortunately I forgot the priest Name but I’m sure you will know who I’m talking about. Then the priest went on a power trip demanding a man sit down just because the priest was yelling at him to sit and when the man refused he yelled at him to get out then some people yelled for the man to get out as well it was very much giving cult. Clearly this church has abandoned their faith allowing someone like that in the church. The father should be setting an example for us to follow a man of guidance spreading the word of god but clearly he made it for his own personal gain and went on a power trip abandoning his faith. DONT GO TO THIS CHURCH! Especially is this particular priest is still their. This church and that priest should be ashamed.”

( 8 reviews )

668 S Workman St, San Fernando, CA 91340, United States

“I visited this church on Sunday, 10th December, 2023. Is a nice church, ushers were helpful. I am usually accustomed to seeing the priests walk down and shake or talk to the parishioners after mass.. In this case, they didn't. Will visit again.”

Sacred Heart Catholic Church
4.7
( 8 reviews )

344 W Workman St, Covina, CA 91723, United States

“I found this church back in January 2020 pre-pandemic and it gives me so much comfort to know that I can go inside and pray and spend time with the Lord. A lot of Catholic Churches refuse to re-open it’s doors for people to go in, which is very frustrating in my opinion. If they believe Jesus is truly present in all Catholic Churches, they should remain open because the Lord waits for us in the Tabernacle. Everyone I have met are so warm and welcoming. And I was approached by one of the sacristans and was told that I can serve if ever I wanted to. The pastor is also very nice. And his Homilies are clear and apply to daily life. This church is the definition of the Catholic Faith at its fullest. Thank God for Sacred Heart Church.”

4.7
( 8 reviews )

435 S Occidental Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90057, United States

“I'm going to sound a bit biased but I did grow up with Precious Blood Church over the years and finally rejoined with the community of the church. For the church itself, has Italian Renaissance architecture and had minor changes over the years. You will find the chance to become an excellent person with the guidance of God and the community will be there with you.”

( 8 reviews )

13915 Shoemaker Ave, Norwalk, CA 90650, United States

“It was my first time to go to the first Friday mass in this church, and I didn't know that the school children go to the Friday mass as well. These good kids reminded me of when my sisters and I were in private Catholic school years ago. It brought back some good memories. The church is nice, and the mass was solemn. The priest gave a meaningful homily that the kids will remember.”

St. Mary's Armenian Apostolic Church
4.5
( 10 reviews )

500 S Central Ave, Glendale, CA 91204, United States

“We came here for my good friend church wedding and it was our first time at an Armenian church. Finding parking here is very easy since they have a decent size lot and I didn't have any issues parking or leaving. Once you walk up the stairs and go inside the church, it is very beautiful. The seats are almost like an older style movie theater but they were comfortable enough for us. The statue and artwork that they have here are all beautiful. The audio system that they have here are loud and clear so you be able to understand what the priest are saying. It looks like the church can hold a lot of people inside because it's pretty roomy.”

Archdiocese Of Los Angeles
4
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

3424 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010, United States

“It's almost impossible to find the right way to make a complaint with the Archdiocese. When you finally find the person in charge, you'll be told there will be an investigation in regards your complaint. The truth of the matter is: they take NO action and the priests no about it. No wonder people are leaving the faith.”
