“Valet parking is $5 and right next to the restaurant, which makes arriving there easy. Food was tasty, but a bit on the pricey side for the quantity of meat per combo and/or side. They do offer a lot of different sides with your order, which is nice. The only complaint was that the seating was really tight near other tables, and those parties were obnoxiously loud even though people were inches apart. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout.”

“My wife and I enjoy BBQ very much we have been to many BBQ restaurants around the state especially Texas they are the masters of the BBQ especially the meats they is the beef brisket and beef ribs and sausage. Today we went to Huntington Park go to Ray's Texas BBQ to try it out a friend recommend to try the ribs and brisket it's Texas style BBQ. We step in the restaurant it smell the aroma of BBQ cook what a great aroma we enjoy it. We look at the menu display to what to order we order the ribs,briskets,potatoes salad,and Mac n cheese. The ribs were coming off from bone they were very tender and full of flavor we didn't add any BBQ sauces,we want to get the full flavor of meat it was so good with BBQ sauce wow it add or more to it. The brisket were incredible good the meat was very tender full of flavor season with fresh pepper and salt that's a Texas tradition it works. The potatoe salad was good we enjoy including the mac n cheese loaded with flavor We enjoy very much. My wife and I need come back again bring some friends of our.”

“I finally made it out to their Pasadena location and I am very happy I did. The wait time in line was only about 15 minutes on a Friday afternoon after 1pm. I was afraid there wouldn't be any seats, but their staff promptly gave me a table and seat. The service here is very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful. The chicken is that spicy flavorful punch to the face I remember it to be. The spice level from medium to hot is quite the jump so burn baby burn is an accurate description. I'm also please the waffles are also great, light, crunchy and needed to help with a spicy and sweet bite. The fried pickles were also a great side to give you a nice sour bite to cleanse the palette. Next time I'll try their banana pudding and few other of their odds and ends.”

“The best compliment I can give Alpine Village is that it is a place that time forgot. Is it the 1960's, 70's or 80's in this spacious venue for dancing, German beer drinking and German/Alpine food binging? The answer is it doesn't matter. After one short visit (with many more to come) I love this place. My wife and I ordered the sausage sampler with cucumber salad and sauerkraut as sides. It was indeed a sampler as I'm not sure I got enough polish sausage, bratwurst and knockwurst to give a full review but it was not bad. Will order much more of the wurst on the next visit. We wanted the pretzel - a staple of any German restaurant - but they were out, which was disappointing and strange. But from my quick one hour visit, this place isn't about the food. There is a very large dance floor and my wife and 4 yr old were dancing next to multiple "senior" couples dressed in their Sunday best thanks to the tunes of the one man band who rocked polka style songs from the Beatles and NSYNC (typically a negative but not at the moment, in the moment). It was all fun. Even through the eyes of this serious German beer and food fan, I cant wait to go back.”

I took everyone I know here and they all said the same. They all loved it. My go to dish is the “Pan Roasta.” The touch of parmesan cheese with the linguine is what sold me along side the shrimp, mussels and sausages because the linguine is creamy. “Beautiful shop, passed it for years. Son wanted barbecue so we placed an order for various things. I got the Pulled Pork sandwich. $17 sandwich, which is high but not an uncommon price for a sandwich from a decent valley BBQ shop. Unfortunately the quality of the sandwich and portion size doesn't warrant the price. The Pulled pork was dry, almost flavorless. The BBQ sauce they use is good and generous amounts of it added to the sandwich make up for what is otherwise bland tasting pulled pork (I've had more flavor from a 3 dollar can of store bought premade pulled pork). The fries were both overcooked and and underdone in the same batch, which takes work to unevenly cooked steak fries. The meager portion of Cole slaw was not much to write home about and was more in mild/bland flavor and generally lacked punch. Definitely not something if you prefer a bit tangier taste. It was fresh and the recipe, for what it is is well made but not my thing. All things considered at $17 for a BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich I expect more either in flavor or portion size and other local BBQ shops in the same price range do better. I'm happy I tried it but didn't find much to warrant a return trip. Service is A+, friendly staff, wonderful establishment.”

“Sis and I ate here because we want to try it out. Everything was good until the end when I can't finish my meal, sis took over. It was a small portion of pasta and then.....she pulled a silver thing out, saying it was kind of stuck in her throat, luckily it was out! Our server saw the incident, a moment later the manager came over to apologize and took care of that for us, we didn't demand or ask for the manager to come over, he saw a problem and took care of it. Thanks Daniel and Amy! The service was excellent but 1 star short because the kitchen need to do better.”
