The owners transformed from a tiny truck serving delicious cookies with unique and decadent ice cream flavors into a national brand. They have kept the trucks and have a nice shop in Culver City which is where I went today. The cookies were very fresh, very chocolatey and very tasty. The coffee oreo ice cream was a perfect match. I could eat these every day so I guess I am lucky their only shop is far away. I think they like the path they took which wasn't to have a lot of cafes or scoop shops. I'm sure if they decide to go that direction they'd find a lot of success.”

The price is on the high side but you got what you pay for. Cant really find the same quality food in high end grocery stores here. This farmer market is a weekly event that I look forward to whenever I am in LA.”

“A must visit for Middle Eastern speciality food items. An old time favorite. My family has been shopping at Tehran Marker for over 25 years and they have always been polite, helpful and kind. They offer fresh produce and a large array of middle eastern food items (concentrating on Iranian items). Their newly remodeled store is a great improvement on the old. Tehran Market offers limited parking in the back which is very convenient.”

My husband and I had a very nice conversation with the gentleman at the window (owner) actually while we waited for our food. Aside from the negative feedback that we received from the owner almost two weeks later, I will also add this. We went in around 6PM on a Monday and some of the items that we wanted were not ready and we were told it would be 1 hour for pork ribs and I believe 3 or 4 hours for chicken, so we opted for pulled pork instead because we simply could not wait that long for food. The food there is amazing! The owner (man at the window) is very friendly. Not sure why he would get on here and call us rude when I don’t believe we were. But we will more than likely go back and still recommend this place to other people even though we were given a poor review from the owner. Maybe he can tell us how we were rude the next time we’re there.”
