“We recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my overall experience was marred by significant issues with billing that have yet to be addressed by the management. The restaurant, though offering a pleasant ambiance, overcharged us on the night of our visit. We promptly paid the amount on our credit card, only to discover later that the same charge had been added to our room bill as well. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to the management via phone calls and emails, there has been no response or effort to rectify this error. Another financial hiccup involved a daily fee for the gym, which was closed during our stay. We were assured a refund, but once again, our attempts to follow up on this matter have gone unanswered. It seems that the hotel is quick to charge for various amenities, even for a simple cup of self-serve coffee in the morning, without providing the promised services. On a positive note, the hotel is well decorated, offering a comfortable and spacious room with a cozy bed. However, the thin walls are a significant drawback, allowing guests to hear everything happening in adjacent rooms. The bathroom, while serviceable, is smaller and somewhat outdated, with a few areas featuring dirty tile floors—more a result of age than neglect. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel, particularly if you plan to visit the restaurant. Be vigilant when checking your bill for accuracy, and be prepared for challenges if you need to dispute any charges. Despite the attractive decor and comfortable rooms, the lack of responsiveness and accountability from the management significantly tarnished my overall impression of this establishment.”

“We stayed there for 7 nights. Grandmother, adult son and adult grandson. The room was simple and clean, our room in particular had a small kitchenette with a microwave, but no oven, dishwasher or kitchen accessories, so we bought disposable plates and cups. The breakfast at the hotel was bagels and bread, a bit monotonous for so many days, but the breakfast lady was extremely nice so we wouldn't complain about the food. The hotel is almost on Walk and Fame so the location was very good. This is a reasonable hotel/motel located centrally in Hollywood. You could hire your own driver to take you around the city, Mr. Ifti, a very nice man, originally from India. We used him the last few days, but regretted not using him before. Much better to use him instead of the hop on hop off bus, or celebrity tour. We will definitely stay there on a later occasion, this because of the price and the location and the very nice staff.”

“I usually don’t write reviews, however this establishment deserves one. We arrived early during an unexpected heat wave. 1:30p, regular check in is 4pm. they did an amazing job at getting a room prepped quickly for us. All parking is valet, so we never had to worry about if parking would be available or not. The staff are all incredibly friendly. The continental breakfast is good. We were there for 4 mornings and the breakfast switches a little each day to give a good variety of items. My kids loved the sausage, bacon and the different waffles batters. Loved having different juice options. Room was very clean, never had a hard time getting extra clean towels. Pool was heated and open until 10p every night which was perfect to night swim after the sun went down. Bed was a little harder than I like, but all in all it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.”

“Our family of four stayed in a room with two queen beds. The rooms were modern, comfortable and nicely equipped (mini-fridge, TV with streaming services). We didn’t get the breakfast package, but purchased food at the hotel and it was very good. The gym is small, but has a few machines and dumbbells. We spent time in the hot tub (outdoor). The pool is also heated (outdoor). Lots of parking at the hotel - felt very secure. No EV charging, but there were charging stations in the shopping area nearby.”

“Beautiful very new hotel in excellent condition with great service. Good buffet breakfast with eggs, hash browns, meats, fruit, breads, waffles, juices and coffee. Room was perfect except minor neighbor noise from ceiling and through headboard wall — common even in the newest of California hotels. You may adjust the fan or bring earplugs if you’re sensitive. High ceilings everywhere—lovely. My car was parked across the street and just fine though the hotel parking seems møre secure.”

“This hotel is adorable! I came here with two friends for a girls trip and it was perfect for it. The location is awesome, we were able to walk to many places and we felt safe the whole time. The decor in the rooms is very cute. We stayed in a room with a king bed and pull out couch, it fit the three of us well. The bathroom design is super cute but the door is a sliding barn door which is not ideal for bathroom privacy. The rooftop pool is VERY SMALL and there isn’t a ton of seating around the pool, especially if it is busy. We only went up to the pool once and there were two small families in the pool and no room for anyone else. Not a huge deal for us because we didn’t really intend to swim. When we went in June 2023 they only had one elevator working and we always had to wait a while for it. We often had to wait for the valet too and it seemed like they didn’t have a very large staff but every employee we interacted with was very nice. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay there again!”

“Finding a clean and quiet hotel can be difficult for me in California, but this hotel really hits all the marks. It's a very pretty hotel in a quiet area. “I had a short trip to LA and Samesun Venice was perfect for me. It is located right at the beach and is surrounded by fun places and eateries. The ocean view from my room is nice and also the view from the lounge is great too. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was big and the hot water was great! The quality of their free shampoo, conditioner and body soap was not bad. I had a long thick hair but their shampoo and conditioner worked for my untamed hair :) The service was also fabulous. Gus and Heather are friendly and kind. We could trust that they would do their best to accommodate what we need if they could. I would definitely come back to stay here when I come back to LA.”

The rooms are spacious, heated pool, fireplace outside, various areas to entertain, hot breakfast included, my room had a full kitchen including a dishwasher, large bathroom (amazing shower pressure) and it was clean. I did not take out the Lysol wipes! Haha! Pillows and bed were super comfortable and on top of all that, I had an amazing view. The only recommendation i could offer the hotel owners is to include a bench in the showers. This would help us ladies with shaving (my now I am being super picky). In all honesty, no negatives at all and can only offer the bench as an improvement possibility. I had the pleasure of staying two nights and would definitely come back.”

“Came down for CIF state football championships games at Pasadena College. Staff was welcoming and helped without hesitation. My daughter spilled hot chocolate in the dining area and the staff happily cleaned up the accident. Management wanted to put their best foot forward. Rooms were clean and roomy.
