Top 5 Food in Los Angeles County

Earle's On Crenshaw
4.7
( 8 reviews )

3864 Crenshaw Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008, United States

“Great place to visit. Took my children and when we got in we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Duane Earle. He was very warm welcoming and inviting. He also asked us was it our first time we told him yes he thanked us personally for coming in and he began to thoroughly go thru the menu explaining how everything was and the various selections that came along with it. We ordered a turkey burger, salmon burger, 2 fries, a pastrami burger and a all beef dog with the famous playa's punch. Money well spent and not only was the food fresh it was seasoned well to perfection and filling. We most definitely will be back.”

Seabirds Kitchen

975 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90802, United States

“I love Seabirds and always make a concerted effort to stop by every time I'm in town. I love the bibimbap bowl is my favorite and go to item. And I always get the brussel sprouts too. Highly recommend it!”

Cavaretta's Italian Deli

( 8 reviews )

22045 Sherman Way, Canoga Park, CA 91304, United States

“My son volunteered for a local event today and the volunteers got discount coupons for a sandwich at Cavaretta’s. My son raved about his sandwich and cannoli and will definitely be back again. Great to see how Cavaretta’s supports the local community!”

Cyber Yogurt
4.9
( 10 reviews )
Open until 08:00 PM

3305 Tyler Ave, El Monte, CA 91731, United States

“Not your average fro-yo place. From Smoothies and yogurt, to being able to scan, copy and print. This place is a healthy hang out. Service is always fast and friendly. Their smoothies are naturally sweetened with the fruit the use for blending. I really like coming in here during my lunch breaks for a healthy refresher.”

Roma Market
4.7
( 10 reviews )
Open until 05:30 PM

918 N Lake Ave, Pasadena, CA 91104, United States

“This is a small specialty market selling Italian food. The place is well known for its delicious inexpensive Italian sandwiches that are prepared every morning. A lot of people buy these sandwiches so they usually run out by lunch time. The market has a great selection of Imported cookies, bread, pasta, oils canned goods and bottled items. I’ve never tried their frozen pasta and store made sauces but I can vouch for their delicious prosciutto that is sliced on the spot. This is the place to go for charcuterie in Pasadena.”

Holbox

( 8 reviews ) $$

3655 S Grand Ave c9, Los Angeles, CA 90007, United States

“Holbox is amazing!!! It is a casual Mexican restaurant where you order at the counter. They offer both raw and cooked seafood. The food was superb, and their customer service is great. We came in for a late snack on a Wednesday night, and the service was fast. I highly recommend it.”

Dan's Super Subs Inc
4.7
( 8 reviews )

22446 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364, United States

“YES! This place is legendary. I had a chance to talk to the owners' nephew/son a bit around lunchtime. Really nice guy, and from a great family. I believe he said they're going to celebrate some 40+ years being open. Cheers to another 40 for sure. This is a family-owned and operated spot. Everyone in the place is friendly with a smile. The Food: Magnificent! You can definitely taste the quality of their meat and cheeses. Also, the care they put into the bread is just beyond belief. It's chewy, it's soft, and it has a nice outer texture. I recommend getting your sandwich toasted for sure to bring out more of the flavors in the cheese and meats. Today I got the turkey and cheese, with all the toppings. Fantastic! You can really tell that the turkey is fresh, has a true old school Deli texture to it, and is definitely A Cut Above any of the other local spots in the area. Honestly, for the amount of meat and cheese they put on their sandwich, they really do put the other places in the area to shame. Especially for the price! Where else can you get a 13 inch classic sub for 13 bucks? All the other delis in the area charge upwards of $16 for something that doesn't even compare to Dan's. 2 pickle wedges on a Large sandwich. Who else does that? Dan's aims to please. Parking: can be tricky around lunch time. They're lot on the side of the building holds maybe four or five cars. It's a little bit tricky backing out. You might be better off parking on the street at one of the meters. Call in your order ahead of time, even better! Atmosphere: If you do decide to sit inside, it's very retro, black and white Checker tables, small little place with a elevated counter to sit at as well closer to the street. But it's definitely a small, packed space. There are a few tables and chairs outside as well. Simplicity is best, and less is more. You'll have to try this place out for yourself and see how wonderful it truly is. A local gem for sure! In short, when it comes to sandwich places in the West San Fernando valley, this place is number one!”

& Waffles
4.6
( 16 reviews ) $$

4141 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91602, United States

“The breakfast food here was sooooooo good. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The coffee was fabulous. The restaurant is a cozy little place with outdoor seating in addition to seating inside. Our server was an absolute pleasure. We were so glad we chose to eat here for breakfast.”

Thai Deli
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1835 E Cesar E Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90033, United States

“Always a quick stop for high quality food for a cheap price. Very friendly service and delicious and affordable options. A great choice for lunch or dinner on any night. My go-to is chicken teriyaki but Korean BBQ beef short ribs and Thai BBQ chicken are great options too.”

Johnny Pacific
4.7
( 8 reviews )

20133 Saticoy St, Winnetka, CA 91306, United States

“The empanadas are good, depending on what filling you choose(some have great flavor some were lacking flavor completely). Empandadas are kinda big in size, crispy on the outside, but on some the dough was still uncooked in the inside . The prices IMO are a bit too high though, a dozen was over $50. Plenty of parking on plaza lot.”
