“Holbox is amazing!!! It is a casual Mexican restaurant where you order at the counter. They offer both raw and cooked seafood. The food was superb, and their customer service is great. We came in for a late snack on a Wednesday night, and the service was fast. I highly recommend it.”

Brothers Cousins Tacos

“Drove an hour for these tacos and yes it was worth it! BEST street tacos we’ve ever tried! We got burritos for the road back and they were also delicious!”

El Burrito Jr
4.5
( 16 reviews )

919 S Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States

“Two words: dirty grill! I hate tasting grill on my food. Horchata underwhelming. Bad experience food wise. Service was decent, but food was lukewarm and there was no one there. So, dirty grill, unseasoned beef ( maybe old), mid salsa and horchata = I’ll never spend another dime there. Too bad, I had high hopes.”

La Abeja Restaurant
4.7
( 8 reviews )

3700 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90065, United States

“One of those old hole in the wall neighborhood restaurants growing up when it was cash only. A family ran joint where the food is still great to this day. In my opinion, it is one of the best places for hard shell shreaded beef tacos. Highly recommend.”

Birrieria San Marcos

5937 Hazeltine Ave, Los Angeles, CA 91401, United States

“Service and food was great but if there was a place to eat at this place it would be awesome. Be prepared to get it to go, calling in your order is a good idea.”

Bizarra Capital
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

12706 Philadelphia St, Whittier, CA 90601, United States

“The food and service were pretty good, but there is some room for improvement. Prices seemed a little high, as everywhere else. $18 margaritas seemed a bit excessive, but luckily, they gave us half off when I asked if there was a happy hour (the answer was no to happy hour.) We had fideo since that was the reason my friend brought me here, but after adding all the toppings, it came out to about $26 a bowl, and it didn't seem worth it. There was too much liquid in my bowl. Wish they put more shrimp and beans in my bowl. My friend got a decent amount of chicken in his, so I probably should've ordered that? The ceviche mixto was pretty good. It was a pretty big serving. I wish I could have ordered a half size for half price. Seemed like a mixture of cooked and semi cooked and semi raw seafood. Crab meat on top was probably from a can. I would probably try another version next time. The agua fresca margaritas were pretty good. We ordered the guava ones. I really appreciate real fruit in my drinks, but I couldn't really taste the guava, and it tasted a little watered down. Maybe it could have used a bit more fruit or lime juice. IDK, maybe agua fresca is supposed to taste more like water? Our server, Yesenia, was very friendly and nice. She accommodated our requests and gave us half off margaritas. Her lovely smiles were much appreciated.”

Sonoritas Prime Tacos
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

2004 Sawtelle Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025, United States

“They recommended Mar Y Terra Burrito but I asked if they have tacos and he told us that they can make it into 2 tacos so I have a customized Mar Y Terra Tacos :) and omg it tastes so good like I was so impressed. The beef is tender with juicy shrimp and the chipotle mayo… I found myself finding a whole new level of Tacos. It’s amazing. Must try.”

Senor Birria
4.6
( 8 reviews )

9952 Lakewood Blvd, Downey, CA 90240, United States

“Birria Taco Tuesday. Six of these soft tacos are $7.43 because of card fee. Parking could be tough to find since it does get busy on Tuesdays. Spanish music playing in the background. Not a lot of seating, but tables are clean. Birria is tender and filling. Their salsa has a spice kick, but it dies down with some water. Right amount of consommé on the tacos. Onions and cilantro add a nice refreshing bite to it.”

Rambos Tacos

3200, 2122 W Francisquito Ave Ste G, West Covina, CA 91790, United States

“I've been going to these guys since they opened. That says a lot since most places change constantly over the years. These guys have kept everything authentic. If anything has ever changed, I never noticed it. Love these guys!”

Casa Lupitas

( 8 reviews )

31732 Castaic Rd, Castaic, CA 91384, United States

“Great food, I had the menudo. Friendly service but they forgot to bring out the tortillas until like 10 minutes after they brought out the menudo. I tried to get the servers attention for a while but they were busy. They just forgot. It’s ok. Tortillas were not even that good but I do recommend the menudo”

“The name of this place definitely says it all, this is the spot and the food is great. Service is also very good so if you are into tacos, fajitas, like to only have vegetables or don’t mind having meat as well, then, definitely this is the place I would recommend to try and you will be going back because we definitely are going to go back. So it’s a definite big YES for recommendation.”

“I LOVE the Long Beach Location! Its always fresh ! But i was driving by this location in compton, and to start off the lady charging has the worst attitude! She shouldnt be in a position where customer service is a MUST! Then i drive home and to notice the chicken its RE HEATED! It was NASTY! So i called to tell them not to be giving people chicken this way because its nasty ! And i told her i didnt call to ask for my money back or for food. I called to tell them so no one else has to eat this re heated/microwave chicken and she said ok and hung up on me! With not ONE apology. The worst place! Want to have real juicy chicken ? Go to the Long Beach Location!”

Tacos El Superior
4.6
( 8 reviews )

700 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, United States

“This is NOT a 4.6 star worthy Taco or Burrito spot. At best it is a 3.5 star. We order two burritos, one carne asada and the other carnitas. The burritos were order with refried beans and light rice. The burritos were more beans than anything. The burritos are small. The meats didn't have much flavor but the beans were decent. Overall, the food is okay if one is passing through on a road trip. However, they were dog friendly, which I greatly appreciate.”

“Absolutely amazing tacos! We ordered al pastor and suadero, asked for them a little extra fried (the meat, not the tortilla). These were some of the best tacos I've had in my life! This place is cash only.”

Tacos El Tijuanense
4.4
( 16 reviews )

8870 Corbin Ave, Northridge, CA 91324, United States

“Son found this place from ad on IG. Lady taking the orders was nice enough to tell us what was in each plate we were looking at getting. We got burritos, quesabirria, and tacos. I was not a huge fan of the chicken and the salsa (green) added the flavor along with the limes I kept using. Quesabirria was okay, not too cheesy. Son liked the pastor tacos, also used limes and salsa to give it more flavor.”

Chipotle Mexican Grill

7660 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046, United States

“I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent visit to the Chipotle location at 6290 W Sunset. As someone with over 10 years of experience in the food and administration business, I have never encountered such a disgusting and poorly managed Chipotle before. Upon entering the restaurant at approximately 6:30pm, I noticed that the general manager, Zoila, was off duty and wearing a black sweater while waiting on the side of a register on her Uber. This immediately struck me as unprofessional and concerning. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was appalling, with steak found in the cheese and the counters in a horrible state. The entire establishment appeared extremely messy and neglected. To make matters worse, there was only one employee working in the front, resulting in excessive waiting times for customers. Prior to placing my order, I inquired about redeeming a free steak bowl offer that I had on my phone. The employee confirmed that it was indeed redeemable. However, upon reaching the register, I was informed that I needed to purchase additional food to qualify for the free bowl. Feeling inconvenienced, I politely asked the employee if I could at least receive a free drink as compensation. Initially, he agreed, but then the general manager, Zoila, interrupted our conversation and overruled his decision. This interference was unwarranted, as Zoila was not even on the clock at that time. Her knowledge of the store's poor condition and her subsequent interruption only served to further infuriate me. To add insult to injury, when I requested Zoila's name, she immediately ran out of the store, avoiding any accountability for her actions. I found her behavior to be unprofessional and disrespectful. Additionally, her constant smiling while denying my requests led me to believe that she was being racist. As a result of this deeply unsatisfactory experience, I have decided to sever my ties with Chipotle indefinitely. I kindly request that someone from corporate reach out to me to address this matter. I believe it is crucial for Chipotle to investigate the actions of Zoila and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation. I am deeply disappointed and feel that I was not treated as a valued customer. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.”
