“Went on a date to celebrate getting a new job. We had the oxtail dumplings, ricotta gnocchi, eggplant, fried cauliflower, the venison loin, and the toffee pudding. The experience as a whole was fantastic. It truly felt like an artistic experience as much as a culinary one. The food was delicious and the menu is so carefully crafted for fall. The staff is top tier and are professionals without question. Definitely a life-enhancing experience and I will be back!”

“When I asked one of the staff how long they’ve had the restaurant open, the answer I got surprised me. It made me feel like they just had opened the store as they staff were so friendly and excited about their work. Super friendly people running the store. Congrats to the owner for having such people taking care of their store and delivering high quality. Alex was amazing and he took really good care of us. The food was amazing. I recommend Both Burger Patty Melt and Billionaire Burger. This was our first time in Manhattan beach and I really enjoyed visiting the place and its people.”

“Oh the road well traveled… Found myself in Venice Beach, CA and just wanted to find some simple fare. Found the Library Alehouse and was not disappointed. Great tap list full of delicious regional brews. I had a couple rounds of Russian River Pliny The Elder IPA which was awesome. I paired it with the Ale house burger and which was cooked to perfection. Service was casual and on point. Not stuffy and super pleasant. Staff seems to genuinely know and connect with many of the patrons. It’s a pub so I’m not sure if I’d bring the kids but I would bring my dog if Moose was with me. Overall very good experience!”

“This was quite possibly the most disappointing dinner I've ever had. I had heard good things about JOEY and wanted to give it a try. To start the appetizer we ordered, it was sent to the wrong table, so there was an extended wait for it to arrive. We ordered the sake glazed fish, which was Chilean Sea Bass, and the steak & sushi with the add for filet mignon. First, the Chilean sea bass was undercooked and had a strong fishy taste to it. Fresh fish shouldn't taste fishy. The filet mignon I ordered medium, and it was well done with very little pink. Most of the pieces were gray. The service was below standard as well. When all I was drinking was water and my glass was empty, I shouldn't have to ask for it to be refilled. One last thing, and I know this may not matter to anyone else, but when you're paying this much, why are cloth napkins not used?”

It took two phone calls and coming back in to the store to get a full refund. No I don’t want a voucher for a free chicken salad that I just found a fly in but a full refund. Horrible customer service. The kids at the front are always nice and friendly but management get your act together”

“My wife and I enjoy BBQ very much we have been to many BBQ restaurants around the state especially Texas they are the masters of the BBQ especially the meats they is the beef brisket and beef ribs and sausage. Today we went to Huntington Park go to Ray's Texas BBQ to try it out a friend recommend to try the ribs and brisket it's Texas style BBQ. We step in the restaurant it smell the aroma of BBQ cook what a great aroma we enjoy it. We look at the menu display to what to order we order the ribs,briskets,potatoes salad,and Mac n cheese. The ribs were coming off from bone they were very tender and full of flavor we didn't add any BBQ sauces,we want to get the full flavor of meat it was so good with BBQ sauce wow it add or more to it. The brisket were incredible good the meat was very tender full of flavor season with fresh pepper and salt that's a Texas tradition it works. The potatoe salad was good we enjoy including the mac n cheese loaded with flavor We enjoy very much. My wife and I need come back again bring some friends of our.”

“This is a review for the dinner menu. This place is a hidden gem. The only reason we knew about it, is because I love Antonia Lofaso from Food Network! My recommendation would be to just order a bunch of different small shareable plates so you can sample the variety of things. They are all SO good. I would do this instead of focusing on the “mains.” It is quite dark and dim inside, but that is the cozy and intimate vibe.”

I had been looking forward to their Fish and Chips for a week and they did not disappoint! The service was great too. Between 5 glasses of wine for the whole evening, the Fish and Chips, tax and tip, it cost me $95, Happy New Year 2024!”

The sea bass/salmon I had: the tomato sauce is a very basic kind of tomato sauce, I can't taste the chef's effort. It did not surprise me at all. So did the salmon. Portion was way too small for an adult to feel full. Desserts were better, they look amazing and taste great. Nothing to complain. Loved the 2 cakes in the pictures (sorry I can't recall what they'er called).”

“I finally made it out to their Pasadena location and I am very happy I did. The wait time in line was only about 15 minutes on a Friday afternoon after 1pm. I was afraid there wouldn't be any seats, but their staff promptly gave me a table and seat. The service here is very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful. The chicken is that spicy flavorful punch to the face I remember it to be. The spice level from medium to hot is quite the jump so burn baby burn is an accurate description. I'm also please the waffles are also great, light, crunchy and needed to help with a spicy and sweet bite. The fried pickles were also a great side to give you a nice sour bite to cleanse the palette. Next time I'll try their banana pudding and few other of their odds and ends.”

While the fries were exactly how I like them (thinner and more crisp) they lacked the truffle essence, so I'll probably skip them next time. The burger was perfection. Cooked just right, enough of the extras to be noticed, but not so much that they dominated or turned the burger into a fall apart mess, and a bun that was sturdy enough to hold everything together yet still so soft it was easy to consume. The entire family also loved the brussel sprouts and the grilled cheese was a winner also.”
