“The rooms are nice. The gym is about normal, they have a cable machine without a lot of attachments and dumbbells up to 50lb. It's centrally located in Hollywood to many attractions. The surrounding area is pretty rough though. I parked on the street overnight with no issues. The parking meters go from 9am to 7pm.”

“I stay here exactly one year ago today. The hotel is really nice. The breakfast was good. You got to beat the crowd though. The accomodations are very nice. The manager should check behind the house keeping staff. There was hair on the bathroom floor, candy on the by the bed. The tub needed a thorough cleaning.The sink stopper didn't work and my last two days, the shower was ice cold, no matter how long I let the water run. Would stay at the location again? YES! It is a nice hotel with nice rooms. The location is nice but nothing in walking distance but a gas station and a Jack in the Box, and a Denny's where I had to send my food back. 🙂”

“One of the worst service that I’ve ever seen at an IHG hotel in the US. We checked in about 11pm because of our late incoming flight. The front desk clerk Kimberly doesn’t even acknowledged that I am a loyal member of the IHG family. We checked in for two nights. To our surprise when we returned to our room on the second day, our Room is not cleaned and no fresh towels were available in the room. Ms. Kimberly didn’t even bother to mention about cleaning at requested only. She didn’t even bother to say “thank you” for being IHG member. She didn’t offer me points or water options at check in… She keeps telling me about her long day and being tired to work when I asked about the water. At last, the hotel management team didn’t bother to send me a survey about the hotel and it’s situation. A solution about the cost down with the reduction of cleaning the rooms is a terrible trade off for losing their loyalty members. I will longer choose this IHG hotel in El Monte when I am in town next time.”

“The rooms inside the hotel was perfect! Clean and bug free! Can’t hear any freeway traffic. For the other room facing the freeway I’m not sure of the noise level. Breakfast was pretty good could use a little more selection in the meat selection for breakfast. The shower need more water pressure. Overall it was a pleasant stay.”

“I stay here regularly because the location is great. The breakfast is about as lazy as it gets, even for Hampton Inn's. They don't bother to slice the bagels - wouldn't be a problem except that only leaves you with the cheap plastic "knives" to try and butcher it in half before toasting. They don't take the shell of the hard-boiled eggs - which is a lot easier to do right after the prep process. The sausage links looked like they'd been left in the oven.”

“We enjoyed our stay so much! William was so friendly with our kids (4&2yo) and we loved the nightly fire and s’mores. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds were well maintained and they were fun to explore. We had everything we needed in our tent for cooking. So nice to have drinkable water everywhere! Food was pricey but delicious. MANY bugs but none in our tents thankfully. We will definitely come back.”

“This is a 2 star hotel/motel where I stayed many years ago, doesn't look like it has changed much. It's basic, functional and cheap to stay especially if you're visiting any of the exhibition centers (a short ride on the metro). Air con worked fine and there was a nice swimming pool out the front. I would certainly stay here again as it's close to the metro station in a reasonable part of LA. Very easy to get to other parts of the city.”

I had to ask for the water.I asked to have a late checkout, and I was told that I have to call down at 9 am to see if I can have a late checkout, The hallway on floor 3 had a bad smell to it. My shower did not have shampoo or body wash. In the kitchen, I had 1 fork, 3 knives, and no spoons. I like that it had a ceiling fan over the bed. The room was spacious.”

I’m definitely going to be staying there on upcoming trips to Los Angeles, aside from All the great service, cleanliness, very reasonably priced, etc… the entire staff were so welcoming and friendly with everyone, I felt as if I had been there many times before and felt like a long term friend, not just business but friendly family atmosphere. “What a pleasant surprise this hotel was! I booked this hotel because I wanted to be close to downtown Los Angeles and because the price was excellent. As we got closer and closer and got more nervous - this hotel is not located in a nice out safe area. When we found it, it was like a little oasis. The service was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean, updated, and the bed very very comfortable. More than that it was completely walled off from the surrounding area and I felt very safe leaving my car parked in the parking lot. If you’re needing to stay in the city and are wanting a great deal then this is your place. We were very satisfied with our stay.”
