Alana's Coffee Roasters
4.7
( 16 reviews )

12511 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066, United States

“This is my girlfriend favorite coffee place in LA, I’m from Italy and I was visiting her and she wanted to let me try it as well. I have to admit that this place is great and coffee very very good!l and their croissants as well! Vibes are great and the atmosphere as well, nice interiors and wide backyard next to the big parking lot where people can work and enjoy a chat under a tent. I’m looking forward to go back there when I’ll be in LA again!”

Dialog Cafe
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

8766 Holloway Dr, West Hollywood, CA 90069, United States

“By far the best coffee in town (or anywhere really ) and this is because the special coffee filtration system they have… a Japanese contraption I think…. The owner is super friendly and the to-go staff is also v nice. Other than coffee selection, try the waffles, protein bowl and rest of the breakfast menu is pretty good as well!”

Jameson Brown Coffee Roasters
4.7
( 8 reviews )

260 Allen Ave, Pasadena, CA 91107, United States

“A pretty extensive coffee selection with a pretty great community vibe. The chairs weren’t super comfortable and they don’t provide Wi-Fi. So this is more of a pick up and go coffee place rather than a sit down and stay a while. Overall not bad but I can’t say I’ll be back anytime soon.”

Blue Butterfly Coffee
4.5
( 8 reviews )

351 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States

“I was just killing time before my flight and decided to try this neat little cafe off Main Street to have a coffee and a bite for breakfast. The iced coffee was very good. I also liked they did have sugar free syrup options available. The jalapeño cheese bagel was also delicious and the cheese very crispy with some nice heat from the jalapeño. Definitely would love to have another one! Unfortunately….the imperial breakfast was the reason why I had to knock a star. Simply, it took an extremely long time. My wife had finished her meal and it was approaching nearly 20-30 mins and it was not really busy when I ordered. Unfortunately, the hash browns still arrived undercooked somehow and were not crispy at all and not a very pleasant component to eat. That was the only negative, just the time and the undercooked hash browns. Simply put if I was in the area again, I’d certainly stop by again and have no issues recommending blue butterfly!”

Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop
4.6
( 16 reviews )

15707 S Vermont Ave, Gardena, CA 90247, United States

“Delicious food located inside a bowling alley! Big Portions! Good Prices! Friendly Service! I recommend the Hawaiian Royal, Garlic Chicken and Banana Pecan Pancakes!”

M Street Coffee
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

13251 Moorpark St, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423, United States

“I was lucky to have this very fine coffee shop just down the street from the place where I stayed with my family while visiting universal studios. The place had a great atmosphere, a great selection of coffee and latte specialties, and plenty of those pastries to choose from. Plenty of nicer on the wall, see the book inside and outside. The style of seating was quite buried with a small upper loft area, and a lower area next to the very studies, and various tables outside both in front of the shop and along the side. The baristas seemed very friendly and attentive, and readily gave advice on the choices that they had to offer. The strawberry latte I got was quite enjoyable, which I enjoyed along with a little gluten-free loaf - quite tasting with pretty star sprinkles on top. I went here twice over the weekend not bothering to look for another place because this one was just what I needed. If you are staying in Studio City, I recommend a stop by here for your coffee here”

Alchemist Coffee Project
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

698 S Vermont Ave Ste 103, Los Angeles, CA 90005, United States

“Nice spot!! Great energy. In a complex with mostly Korean/Vietnamese restaurants it seems. They have cool offerings like kimchi avocado toast which I’ve never seen. I got a mocha coffee and it was good!”

Starbucks
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

2134 Sunset Blvd G, Los Angeles, CA 90026, United States

“Was in the LA area taking care of some business on an early Saturday afternoon & decided to stop at this "Reserve" location on the drive home. I was hoping to get something unique I haven't tried yet but the menu had so many items marked as sold out which was a letdown. I guess the supply shortage is still very relevant? I noticed they did still have available the Iced Hazelnut Bianco Latte which I've had several times out in Palm Springs. I've always enjoyed it out there but that's because it's always tasted good out there. This was a very subpar version of what I've had before. It really just tasted like a weak hazelnut latte. Weak in hazelnut & coffee flavor. My two star rating of this place is for my drink being a letdown as well as the staff definitely not being the most friendly Starbucks staff I've encountered. They weren't really rude just not welcoming & no real service. Also inside the food display case I saw several flies just flying around. They are located on the corner of Sunset & Mohawk St. Adjacent to Chipotle & The Habit. Parking lot is in the back/side & shared with these as well as other businesses. I found parking right away but it is LA so it was pretty busy. If you've never been to a Reserve location, the interior is much more impressive & design forward than the usual Starbucks, but not as impressive as a Reserve Roastery like in Seattle. It did look like they used to have two individual coffee bars in use before (pre-covid). The whole place kinda seems like that. Like a business just barely opening up or on the other side, closing down. There were a good amount of both inside & outside seating available. Based on this experience I do not plan on going back here. I enjoy Starbucks but they are at least a dime a dozen. Cheers!”

Coffee Cartel
4.6
( 10 reviews )

1820 S Catalina Ave #102, Redondo Beach, CA 90277, United States

“The kind of neighborhood coffee house that actually feels like it's part of a neighborhood. Community bulletin boards, bookshelves, sometimes local art. And a little bit of everything: coffee, tea, pastries, smoothies, etc. Offbeat and home-y despite its spot at the end of a row of trendy restaurants. (And it's been here longer than most of those!) Decent amounts of both indoor and outdoor seating. The kind of atmosphere that makes you *want* to hang out there.”

Sip & Sonder
4.8
( 8 reviews )

108 S Market St, Inglewood, CA 90301, United States

“I kind of got ignored when I walked up to the counter. With goof customer service, u easily say, "Be right with you" or even, "hi" ... but when you stand there for a few minutes and they act as if you are not there... well, that can use some work. 2nd disappointment to me was it said no cash. That drives me nuts. I am cash only.. so I was about to walk out, but the gentleman finally took my order. A girl clocked in and asked to pay me out, but asked if I was cash or credit. So I used cash. I asked if it was credit only, and she said they usually don't keep change, but if I had exact change, it was fine. So I was cool with that. They had enough change to break a 5 after I paid 15 for my 2 drinks and didn't want my change. But I got to tip, which if I get a service I always do. I'd like to give this place a better review, but sadly, it lacked. Maybe I'll try again. I skipped like 4 Starbucks to try to support the small guy. That's how I roll. So they deserve 3, and hopefully, they will get 5 stars when I return 1 day.”

Lavender & Honey(r) Espresso Bar
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

1383 E Washington Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104, United States

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops! The iced lattes are amazing and the toast is even better. The line can be a bit long on weekends, but moves quickly. Highly recommend the lavender and honey toast and the Pasadena toast!”

Rockenwagner Bakery, Cafe + Market
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

12835 Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066, United States

“Röckenwagner Bakery is a true gem in Culver City. The pastries are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and baked to perfection. I especially love the croissants, which are flaky and buttery, and the plum tart, which is tart and juicy. The scones are also a great option, try the 5-grain ones with a latte. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying pastry, Röckenwagner Bakery is the place to go, well worth the drive. Try parking around the corner.”

714 Carson St, Carson, CA 90745, United States

“It's beautiful inside, definitely unique, conveniently by the freeway, 2 hour free parking in the parking lot, but their coffee is overpriced. I ordered a Spanish latte and it was a regular size for a whooping $8 for the cup of Joe. Minor details, they didn't ask me if my coffee was for here or to go.”

Rose Park Roasters

( 8 reviews )

3044 E 4th St, Long Beach, CA 90814, United States

“I LOVE THIS PLACE for coffee beans!!! I haven’t eaten there but their coffee is great! We don’t even live in California anymore but we still order their coffee beans. The Breakwater is my favorite (if you like dark roast)!”

Summerfield Tea Bar

“Bobba is trending for this time… definitely it’s is the best place in Rowland heights. You need to know this is a Korean area. All in menu is recommended. Place is so cute, minimalist but perfect! Have a terraza with lights for the night! It’s a pet friendly place 🥰🥰🥰 Totally recommend!”

Romancing The Bean Cafe
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

3413 Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505, United States

“Since moving to Burbank in May my wife and I have made Romancing the Bean a favorite spot for brunch with friends and family. It's walking distance which adds to it's attractiveness but the atmosphere, food and service are just the best! We also frequent The New Deal but that's for a different review. I shot some photos while waiting for my mocha and their baked goods are amazing. What a great find. Photos by Marty Morris @mpm_photo”

612 Shatto Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90005, United States

“Love this place! So much space and a parking lot! The interior has so many separate seating areas that give the space a cozy feel. Lots of people studying/working here, but also great hangout place. Didn’t love the Pat Bing Su (a weird combination of toppings), but overall still love this place.”

Clutch And Coffee
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

1321 El Prado Ave, Torrance, CA 90501, United States

“Love the concept, off-road, racing inspired cafe. The atmosphere is lively, and the vibe is everything. The coffee is strong. The blueberry pancake just melts in your mouth. Greek Omelet is fresh and full flavor. The portion size is huge and best when shared. Service is quick and friendly. I'm looking forward to next time. Don't forget to stop by at the bakery next door, Torrance Bakery, for something later.”

Republik Coffee Pasadena
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

854 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101, United States

“A solid coffee spot with excellent interior decor and an excellent wine selection too. I ordered their chilaquiles, a flat white with almond milk and their over night oats. The chilaquiles was probably one of the best I’ve ever tried. It was perfectly crispy and flavored/seasoned just right. The coffee was the perfect temperature and flavor was on point. The overnight oats really delicious and I almost ordered another cup. I highly recommend all three. Their cold brew Vietnamese coffee was a great pick me up that I highly recommend. I’d definitely come back again to try their other coffee drinks and menu items.”
