Genwa Korean Bbq (mid Wilshire)
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$$
Open until 10:00 PM

5115 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036, United States

“Valet parking is $5 and right next to the restaurant, which makes arriving there easy. Food was tasty, but a bit on the pricey side for the quantity of meat per combo and/or side. They do offer a lot of different sides with your order, which is nice. The only complaint was that the seating was really tight near other tables, and those parties were obnoxiously loud even though people were inches apart. Staff was friendly and attentive throughout.”

Joey Manhattan Beach
4.5
( 8 reviews )

3120 N Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, United States

“This was quite possibly the most disappointing dinner I've ever had. I had heard good things about JOEY and wanted to give it a try. To start the appetizer we ordered, it was sent to the wrong table, so there was an extended wait for it to arrive. We ordered the sake glazed fish, which was Chilean Sea Bass, and the steak & sushi with the add for filet mignon. First, the Chilean sea bass was undercooked and had a strong fishy taste to it. Fresh fish shouldn't taste fishy. The filet mignon I ordered medium, and it was well done with very little pink. Most of the pieces were gray. The service was below standard as well. When all I was drinking was water and my glass was empty, I shouldn't have to ask for it to be refilled. One last thing, and I know this may not matter to anyone else, but when you're paying this much, why are cloth napkins not used?”

Beverly Soon Tofu Restaurant
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

2717 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90006, United States

“Came here on a Monday night putting ourselves on the Yelp waitlist before we came. The place is quite small but it seats a decent amount of people. Food: The tofu soup is quite average, but I really liked the mixed bean rice and the potato appetizer. Other than that, the rest of the dining experience was alright but it wasn’t extremely special. I got the mushroom and beef tofu soup. The mushroom was a little bit overwhelming in taste. Service: Food came in around 20 minutes and appetizers in 5. The great part is that the appetizers are unlimited! Ambiance: Super packed and casual place. By any means, this wasn’t a bad place to go, but wasn’t super great by my tofu soup standards.”

“Jeon Ju Korean Bibimbap Restaurant offers the best bibimbap in Los Angeles, hands down. The dish is made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, making it a standout in terms of taste and presentation. The bibimbap is incredibly flavorful, with a mix of savory and sweet tastes that work together to create a satisfying and delicious meal. The rice is perfectly cooked and has the right amount of stickiness, while the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The egg on top is cooked just right, adding a creamy and rich element to the dish. Jeon Ju Korean Bibimbap Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for the best bibimbap in Los Angeles. The dish is made with care and precision, resulting in an incredibly satisfying and delicious meal that is not to be missed.”

“Food drinks and vibes were all extraordinary 😍 would go back in a heartbeat. The food is super flavorful where each addition to a dish is intentional. The cocktails were also amazing. The 1987 cocktail awakened my soul, the corn infusion added savory sweetness to the drink elevating it. The service was exceptional. Our waitresses answered all of our questions and the waitstaff flits in and out removing plates and refreshing drinks without us noticing.”

Papa's Chicken

3003 W Olympic Blvd #103, Los Angeles, CA 90006, United States

“The food was incredible! Had the perfect crisp! Koreans know what they’re doing with that chicken!!! the service was even better. The lady at the register was so accommodating and sweet towards my friend and I and I’ll definitely be coming back.”

Tokyo Hamburg
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

600 S New Hampshire Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005, United States

“For mains, we ordered a chicken katsu, sweet potato hamburg, curry udon, and 2 cook your own gyukatsu plates. The portions are fairly large and enough to fill your stomach. The chicken katsu took a long time to come; everyone else was nearly done eating already. Of the 2 gyukatsu, one had no marbling while the other had some, and this is very disappointing for gyukatsu. The pieces are also cut a bit too thin, which makes them flimsy when grilling on the hot stone. We also ordered a plate of wings, which were over cooked and the pieces are very skinny. Their service was a mixed bag and their team feels very uncoordinated. As I said, one of our mains came very late and they also didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the drinks they served. But also, the owner came and gave us a free bottle of soju as newcomers and a slice of cheesecake for my birthday, so that is very kind. At the very least, they are working hard and trying their best.”

Gogi House
3.9
( 8 reviews ) $$

26524 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, United States

“Gogi House in Santa Clarita, CA, offers a delightful Korean dining experience that combines quality, flavor, and variety. Known for its all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, the restaurant is a haven for meat lovers, particularly with their well-marinated meats that are soaked for 2-3 days to achieve perfect flavors. The menu at Gogi House features customer favorites like spicy kalbi, garlic beef, and bulgogi. The restaurant's approach to marinating meats for an extended period significantly enhances the flavors, making dishes like the steak and beef stand out with a perfect rating of 10/10. The Korean meats are also highly rated at 8/10, indicative of their quality and taste. Alongside the food, the service at Gogi House is commendable, with a rating of 8/10, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The drinks menu, while rated slightly lower at 7/10, still offers a good range of options to complement the meal. The cost of the all-you-can-eat experience is over $30, which, considering the quality and variety of food, is well worth it according to patrons. Gogi House's focus on marinating meats and offering a diverse selection of Korean dishes in a comfortable setting makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Korean BBQ experience in Santa Clarita. While I couldn't access specific menu details due to website access issues, the general sentiment from customers highlights the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor, making it a worthwhile dining destination.”

Soowon Galbi
4.5
( 10 reviews ) $$
Open until 10:30 PM

856 Vermont Ave B, Los Angeles, CA 90005, United States

“Soowon galbi located in koreatown la is the spot to get galbi or short rib. Their combo B is $160 and feeds four people. It comes with 5 incredible meats including brisket, short rib, pork belly and marinated bone in and bone less short rib. They also have spicy cold noodles so I couldn’t resist. My must order is the saam set because I love making lettuce and perilla wraps with the meat. Their meat quality is pretty good and they come out juicy. Also a big plus that they cook for you here and they have a limited parking lot”

Road To Seoul Korean Bbq (western)
4.4
( 10 reviews ) $$
Open until 11:30 PM

1230 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90006, United States

“I had office lunch today, I made a reservation for 20 people. Food is ok like any other Korean bbq, nothing special. Service very slow, it was only 1 waiter. We had the option C $48,99 per person, I can say the steak and short ribs the best to choose.”

Jjukku Jjukku Bbq
4.3
( 10 reviews ) $$
Close until 11:30 AM

3377 Wilshire Blvd Suite 105, Los Angeles, CA 90010, United States

“A great Korean BBQ spot for casual dining and really solid food. The wait is hit or miss since you cannot call ahead and have to show up and sign in but the meats are well worth the wait. We came on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend as a party of five and were seated within 30 minutes. The service is really responsive and meats come out quickly along with the unlimited sides. They do a cool birthday celebration too - I was lucky to witness it at a nearby table. Overall, I definitely recommend!”
