”Scenic and spacious public park that is hugely popular for parties, events, or just BBQing with family and friends. There are a handful of full service picnic shelters with counters, sinks, and BBQ pits for cooking over a wood fire...these must be reserved in advance and they're very popular. There are picnic tables and cans for trash and recycling at each shelter too. The bathrooms are clean but lacking hand soap. The patches of grass are drying out due to the drought, but still usable for sports. There are hiking trails throughout the park too; along with volleyball nets and horseshoe courts. The area is still scenic despite the lack of rain, but it would look a lot nicer with greener vegetation. Lots of birds and wild turkeys were visible on our visit...probably more wildlife too. A wonderful place to spend a weekend afternoon.”

But it was all good 😂 & it had been forever that I had been to a baseball game here so many years ago. We was in the "Pasture" the grassy area & we could still see everything & it was so nice & even 🐄 Tipper was there & the kids was pitching & batting water balloons for prizes! ”There is a gift shop with Olympic merchandise and the highlight of the visit was the tour. There are several different possibilities for the tour, went on a guided tour that included a cart as well as lunch in the dining hall. There are year round athletes training here for both Olympics and para Olympics. There are multiple sports that train here and with guided tour you will get to see the training facilities including the weight room, which was impressive. There were athletes training there so didn’t get to take a picture inside. Would recommend the tour both for the sports and the views.”

”Probably the largest dog park I've seen here. Artificial grass, 2 water fountains. Lots of all kind of dogs, which is nice. The park randomly closes for 3 days for maintenance and you will never know when.”
