“I don't know why I was the last my alarm shot to be served in my party. I have to wonder about establishments where you're supposed to tip before you even received service. I'll always go back and give a cash tip when the service is good. But the brussel sprouts or not cooked enough really crunchy the mashed potatoes were great I had to ask for more gravy because it just didn't give me enough gravy on my turkey plate and they gave me one big hug of turkey not sliced so I needed a knife to carve it up. It just felt like I didn't get as good a service as everyone in my party or everyone else in the restaurant.”

“I don’t leave 1 ✩ reviews often but I feel deeply that this is an unsafe, unhygienic, and unsettling place to stay. Like others have mentioned, the reviews that are 5 ✩ seem to be fake or purchased. Concerns with our stay: There is no locking mechanism other than the door code (which does not change between stays). The peephole was missing and so paper towel was stuffed into the hole instead (easily dislodged). The elevator was broken so I had to haul luggage up three flights. The entire floor was thick with smoke from pot. Safety alarms (monoxide, fire) were removed from the walls. The windows in the room would not open. The toilet was broken (did not flush and was very loud). There was no soap in the entire hotel room. There was shampoo and conditioner with missing lids on the floor of the shower. There’s much more but these are the most alarming bits worth mentioning. I would like to add a caveat that if you’re looking for a cheap stay in a nice area, this could be a good find. But it’s not what was advertised and we were not prepared for this sort of stay.”

“Overall a very good experience. The staff were friendly throughout our 6-day stay, though perhaps the younger reception desk staff members should dress not quite so casually? The room was a little dated throughout, but spacious, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was very convenient, and it was easy to get to anywhere we needed to go from the hotel. Having the well-appointed kitchen available to cook some meals was very appreciated, as eating out can get tiring. It was quiet, and parking was convenient. Overall, a very good experience, and we would return.”

”They charged me an extra $900 and refuse to fix it. We booked our trip through our credit card at a discounted rate and upon checkin we were told that they had 2 rooms for us since we booked a room with 2 queens, they were going to give us 2 rooms, each with 1 bed. Since we weren't traveling with anyone we told them that we were only going to use the one room so they can release the other room they were going to give us. This caused them to cancel and rebook our room at a last minute rate which was much higher than what we had originally paid for. After calling a few times and being unable to reach a manager I finally got a hold of someone who still is unable to fix my issue. I've had to keep calling them back to follow up on the situation which is still not fixed as they refuse to follow up themselves. They also refuse to send me the invoice of my room or any other sort of receipt so I have no option but to dispute the credit card charge since they refuse to give me the money that they stole back to me. Aside from that situation, the rooms definitely are far from the cleanest or modern rooms I've stayed in which is fine since we were just using it to rest our heads at night. The water pressure isn't great and the toilet seems to run constantly which makes it a little more noisy than we'd like. The breakfast they served was really good though, nice crispy bacon.”

The only minor issue is parking, but I had no problem parking at an open meter near the hotel on Friday or Saturday. Of course, you can use their valet parking service if you like. ”I wanted to surprise my wife with a quick overnight getaway to Santa Barbara. We have a 11 month old daughter and I booked a room through their website.. I misunderstood their child policy and when we arrived they informed us that only their large cottage rooms allow children and not the small room I booked. I was fully prepared to go somewhere else as this was totally my fault. But the owner instead upgraded us to a larger room that would work for us at no extra charge. We are extremely grateful for his hospitality. This place is absolutely amazing, very clean, and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and their breakfast continental was delicious. All their staff was very very kind and helpful.. their text app is amazing as well. Overall I highly recommend this place to stay.”

The hotel location is a bit far from any walking-distance restaurant or grocery, but as long as you drive it is fine. Rooms are clean, I only used the laundry among the amenities and it was neat and fast. Overall the stay was great, thank you!”
