San Dieguito County Park
4.8
( 8 reviews )

1628 Lomas Santa Fe Dr, Del Mar, CA 92014, United States

“When adults and teens could have their own ‘playground’ a.k.a the sports area, the park is 5 stars for me. Loved the sports area!! But I hope the city will build more courts, as one volleyball and basketball won’t be enough on warmer days. Also, maybe the park would make lower park and upper park connected with cars in the future, it’s gonna be better to enjoy the entire area.”

Red Morton Park
4.7
( 10 reviews )

1120 Roosevelt Ave, Redwood City, CA 94061, United States

“This park is awesome and buzzing every weekend. It has a rose garden, some trees and grass areas, play grounds and plenty of sport fields. It is also a well known spot where Pokémon players meet every Wednesday evening or on special weekend events. There are also several events and parties organized by the town like pub in the park. A must see are the light shows around Christmas and New years.”

Coyote Point Recreation Area

1701 Coyote Point Dr, San Mateo, CA 94401, United States

“Great place for so many reasons. Beaches, bathrooms, playgrounds, CuriOddysey, boats, walking trails, launches for water activities like stand up paddle boarding, large grassy area for running, flat paved areas good for kids learn to ride bikes, picnic areas with grills that you can reserve, parking, informational signs about history and climate change. Entry is six dollars per car. If you get the San Mateo County Parks Pass you can visit any time and never pay to enter! Well worth it! Magic Mountain Playground - large double playground - part for older kids, part for younger kids. All fenced and gated so it's easier to manage littles who like to run. There is a gun range in the area so you sometimes here the gun practice which can be jarring, annoying, or triggering for some. Be aware that there is poison oak by the trails in the Eucalyptus Grove. Beaches are swim at your own risk - no lifeguard. Coyote Point is close to the airport - so you can watch planes fly in and out of SFO. There is a second playground close to CuriOddysey. Dogs are okay on leashes - EXCEPT - where marked "no dogs." Please respect rules regarding dogs! And pick up poop. Please don't encourage kids to have water balloon fights with those little balloons - they are hard to pick and worsen the micro-plastic problem in soil and sea - not good for people or planet! CuriOddysey is a WONDERFUL place - it has its own entry fee. Worth a family visit, for sure. Good for all ages to learn about enjoy science and nature. Mostly non-native plants - such as eucalyptus - but some drought resistant and native California plants have been put in. This is a wonderful place to spend time in - solo or with friends or family or a community group. Respect, care for, and enjoy this wonderful place.”

Toro Park
4.6
( 8 reviews )

501 Monterey-Salinas Highway 68, Salinas, CA 93908, United States

“Scenic and spacious public park that is hugely popular for parties, events, or just BBQing with family and friends. There are a handful of full service picnic shelters with counters, sinks, and BBQ pits for cooking over a wood fire...these must be reserved in advance and they're very popular. There are picnic tables and cans for trash and recycling at each shelter too. The bathrooms are clean but lacking hand soap. The patches of grass are drying out due to the drought, but still usable for sports. There are hiking trails throughout the park too; along with volleyball nets and horseshoe courts. The area is still scenic despite the lack of rain, but it would look a lot nicer with greener vegetation. Lots of birds and wild turkeys were visible on our visit...probably more wildlife too. A wonderful place to spend a weekend afternoon.”

Harry Griffen Park

Close until 07:00 AM

9550 Milden St, La Mesa, CA 91942, United States

”Plenty of parking, huge park with several playgrounds for kids. It can be a little muddy after the rain. There's an outdoor theater near the gate, not sure if they use it for anything. Again, it's a really big park so very spacious for multiple birthday parties going on at the same time. The Men's restroom needs better maintenance and cleaning. The dog park is also nearby but we didn't go over there. Really appreciate those who kept the leash on the dog, especially next to the playground.”

Stulsaft Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

3737 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94061, United States

”Very nice park with an easy trail. The trail has some gradient and can be tricky during winter when it rains. But otherwise overall a good small hike. The park has a play structure for toddlers. Parking is on the street and can be challenging during busy time on the weekends. The park and trail has clean restrooms.”

Redwood Grove Nature Preserve
4.6
( 8 reviews )

482 University Ave, Los Altos, CA 94022, United States

”This is a wonderful pocket of peace and tranquility in the middle of the suburban Bay area. You can spend anywhere from 20 min to 2 hours here and despite it being such a small area it is laid out really well. There is a winding river bed that goes through the nature preserve, so I imagine in the spring or after heavy rain there may be water flowing. However, in September/October the water bed was dry. It does feel like you're in a Pacific Northwest Forrest and the air is so fresh!”

La Mirada Creek Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

12065-12115 Santa Gertrudes Ave, La Mirada, CA 90638, United States

”Great little park for kids young people and for adults. Small trail for horses, great for pets, and small sports. For runner joggers and walkers. There's a small horse corral at the edge of the park and small hills to make a challenging workout. Leading out of the park, a trails continues to another park. Easily a 3 mile out and back and possibly up to 6 miles on a good workout . Great parking area, many walkers and older people can be found. If it were a trail in the hills, I would have given it a 5...”

Sky Zone Cerritos Trampoline Park

( 8 reviews )

10755 South St, Cerritos, CA 90703, United States

”Jacob and Diana are amazing it’s a Friday afternoon and they seem to really care except the girl at the friend her name is Jackie ( because of Jackie. I had to lower my score from five stars to three stars. It was just extremely offputting. Her attitude was way off ) definitely not welcoming. Definitely gave me a bad vibe altogether since I first got here at after I spent over $1000 on Saturday I brought the wrong size for my daughter socks, and someone told her that she needed to change her socks. I went to tell Jackie at the front that I wanted to purchase new socks, but I didn’t know that she couldn’t wear the socks I brought for her and the sky zone socks I brought for her with the wrong size and just basically told me OK is three dollars it’s not about the money is about the way you deliver the message to the Gas is very unwelcoming. I think they need someone in the front that’s a little bit more welcoming, and doesn’t try to make you feel belittle I didn’t get that from anybody else. Thank God cause I would definitely not want to return if she continues to be there with the same attitude that she had today. I hope corporate is listening and are able to talk to her about her customer service skills. They need major help but on the other hand, everybody else was greatThey require significant assistance, but on the contrary, everyone else performed exceptionally well.ace and are just amazing to allow me and my kiddos to feel welcome and here at sky zone. had my daughter birthday party here on Saturday as well. It was amazing wonderful place to party and have fun with the family. Everyone had an amazing time and today is equally the same. Everybody The hospitality and warmth extended by Jacob and Diana at Sky Zone were truly exceptional. We are immensely grateful for their efforts in making our stay here absolutely unforgettable. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and amazing experience.”

Steckel Park
4.5
( 8 reviews )

8080 Mistletoe Rd, Santa Paula, CA 93060, United States

”Beautiful little park with a vibrant aviary and picturesque landscapes all around. We did tent camping over Thanksgiving and made good use of the fire pits for cooking and warmth. It's very popular and some other guests were rowdy and ran generators at times we wished they wouldn't, but that's not the park's fault so I won't hold it against it.”

Mission Dolores - Helen Diller Playground
4.7
( 8 reviews )

San Francisco, CA 94114, United States

”This park is truly a gem, offering stunning city vistas that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. The towering slide is particularly popular, and my daughter eagerly looks forward to our visits here. It's not just a children's paradise; adults can also find their own slice of tranquility. There are ample tables, making it ideal for picnics or just bringing along your lunch. The expansive grassy areas are perfect for laying out a blanket and lounging under the sky. However, it's worth noting that it can get quite bustling, especially during weekends, so a bit of planning might be in order. We've even hosted memorable birthday parties for our kids in this beautiful setting, and it always ensures a delightful time for everyone.”

Linda Vista Skate Park
4.7

Covina Park
4.4
( 10 reviews )

301 4th Ave, Covina, CA 91723, United States

”Love this park, it is close to my place. I enjoy coming to this park from time to time to either go walk, jog, sit at one of the many benches the park provides and enjoy eating lunch or simply read a book under one of the beautiful trees. The park is close to Downtown Covina. The new playground looks fantastic. It is dog friendly, there is plenty of parking space. I do think the restrooms need improvement. I will like to see the city renovate the women's restroom in the future, they definitely need to be upgraded. There are some homeless people that hang around the park but they don' t bother anybody, other than that I enjoy coming to this park.”

Pikes Peak Park

East up Sixth Street across from the George Ingalls Equestrian Event Center, 97 Sixth St, Norco, CA 92860, United States

”This park is such a blast for kids! A good variety of different things to climb, explore, swings and all that. I loved the creativity behind the theme as well. There are walking paths as well and a hike to pumpkin rock! There is a covered picnic shelter as well. Open grass area as well. Trees are still young but one day will be nice and big, perfect for shade. I definitely recommend this park.”
