“Amazing fresh oysters, straight from the bay to your plate. Raw or BBQ, Hog Island has amazing oysters both to go, or to enjoy at the cafe. The cafe has rustic picnic tables with a priceless view of the water. Service is friendly and fast but guests tend to linger with a bottle of champagne or two, so go early or off peak hours. If you walk up on a Saturday with nice weather, expect to wait up to an hour for a high table. But ultimately, it’s worth it!”

“Eddie V's is one of our favorite restaurants. Their filet is incredibly tender and juicy, and we absolutely love their amazing crab cakes. Additionally, the Chilean seabass and lobsters are consistently delicious. I ordered the lamb chops, and it was very tasty. During our last visit, we encountered a server who seemed new and asked us to make room on the table for the appetizers, but typically, the service at Eddie V's is excellent.”

“I’ve tried the Hook Fish location in SF before and loved it, but this location took it to another level. Hook Fish is a sustainable and fairly local seafood restaurant that specializes in entrees like fish and chips and fish tacos/burritos. On this trip we went with the grilled fish of the day burrito and of course some fish and chips. Everything was delicious and amazing! The battered fish is the best I’ve ever had. The burrito tastes flavorful yet healthy at the same time. You also can’t resist pouring some of their unique hot sauce on each bite to add even more flavor. They had a pineapple juice drink that I tried which was also a nice touch without too much sugar. Parking is a bit crazy as this location is super central to anyone driving around Muir Woods but once you find parking the inside is beautiful. There are so many outdoor tables and even a pristine modern looking bar inside. So glad I finally got to visit their other location in the Bay Area. You have to go!”

”My third visit and this place still impresses me. Took my daughter Saturday and reserved a nice table towards the front near the lake. The view was fantastic. We dined on Tempura bento boxes, sashimi combos and had amazing drinks of the Watermelon Mezcal and Original Cadillac margaritas. Our service by Brayden was excellent and we had an amazing day. Oh, and we enjoyed the delicious Baked Alaska dessert.”

”Make it to go and try the CONSOME (free soup)! They package the orders to go very well, you can go home or to the beach ⛱️. They make everything right on the spot, so be patient. When I took a bite out of my 🐟 taco it felt as if they had literally just put to fry the catch of the day. The salsas 🔥 are delicious and the staff was friendly. Plus, they have daily specials!! I ended up getting $2.00 off my cocktail because it was the daily special. So cool! Can't wait to try everything on the menu 😋”

”This is a very lovely place, with a lovely atmosphere right between the buildings, overlooking the skyline of downtown los angeles. The food here is some of the best in the area. Love the selection and freshness of the sushi. The service was okay until it came time to pay. I had a groupon and the assistant manager told me that the tip was included. Now, I've been a Groupon fan and user for a long time and the tip is never included. It even tells you on the website to tip generously. It's just a manager took it upon himself to add a twenty two percent tip. The waiter did do a great job and I would have given that to him, but it was the principle of adding something that I didn't ask him to, nor did he have to. If you get service from Nile, you're in for a treat, and please tip my man generously. Also, be sure to try the fresh edamame, life changing.”

”This was one of our favorite stops on our trip to CA. The food was absolutely delicious! We got a salmon sandwich and a salmon salad. The staff was so kind and helpful. Ordered a side of the house Cajun for me and the flavor was very very good. Corn bread is something I won’t enjoy but some reason, the ones they make are amazing. The only downfall is the parking. Not much of it. I do recommend parking in the street”

”We have had lots of different food and experiences during our visit to the US. Today, we arrived in Napa, driving through St Helena, and my wife spotted a little restaurant called Market. We managed to park on the street nearby. The greeting and service was as good as the food itself. Fabulous find. We shared the crab salad, then Jane had the fish tacos, and I had the best scallops I ever had. Alfie was our server, and what a server he was. He knew the menu inside and out.”

”I come here many times a year with family,friends, and dogs! The owner Mark is so friendly and accommodating, and the staff is awesome too. We usually spend the entire day here eating tons of the most amazing oysters and usually reserve a grill to BBQ. We sometimes will have oysters first, then head to the park right next to Jolly Oyster and hang out so other people can get a table. LOVE this place! I give it 10 stars 🌟”

”This omakase style sushi restaurant was amazing. They have very high quality sashimi and their specific way of preparing the glazes and sauces to accentuate the taste and mouth feel of the dishes were impeccable. I throughly enjoyed the food and was never overwhelmed by the amount of food. Definitely a great place to enjoy sushi. Service and sushi chef were very on point! My favorite dishes were the Zuke Toro with caviar, the Hon Maguro, and the Ikura w/Ankimo. There menu changes quarterly, but those were the highlights and if they are not on your omakase you could probably ask for it. They also finished off our meal with a poke style hand-roll with the left over pieces from the fish he used. Each group of 4 had their own chef and they only run two seatings a night. Anyways a great dining experience and all of their food was melt in your mouth. They were able to show that you can get amazing sushi from Bonoito and Mackeral. If you are a scallop lover they also have scallop from Hokido that qas delicious. All the photos should be in the order of our menu!”

It's a new and modern Asian setting. The food was excellent from ramen, fried chicken, egg rolls, and bento boxes. The staff are friendly. Parking is limited, so come early. Family-friendly place. Handicap accessibility. Service was quick and hot. Don't be hasty to eat, or else you will burn. Overall rating is 5 of 5. Good eats.”
