19005 Coast Hwy, Jenner, CA 95450, United States

“A very beautiful place on the roaring coast of Northern California. The drive to get there is really challenging. We met a bunch of Corvette drivers who had the best time getting there. I have a completely different view of the Russians since visiting this place. Very artistically built. They treated everyone equally. They did not demand converting to their religion. I was so impressed. Well worth the effort to visit.”

“This museum is amazing! It has so many beautiful and valuable items. Not only super cars, but also historical items and great demonstrations. This museum is great for family and kids. We really learned a lot from it. Strongly recommend this museum to everyone!”

Dorothy Chandler Pavilion
4.7
( 8 reviews )

135 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States

“Beautiful venue for operas and operas. The supertitles were clear and the place was very clean. Even though we were seated very high up for our matinee of the Barber of Seville, we had a good view of the stage. My specific seat was a bit obscured by the railing but that made my ticket cheaper, so I was cool with it. Parking is $10 all day on weekends and in the evenings in the garage, or you can try to find metered spots. Theres a courtyard with tables outside of the venue so you can have a little picnic or opt to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants. Ushers are nice. Bathrooms are available only on stage right at the top floor. There were elevator banks but most people took the stairs. You can preorder food and drinks for intermission. Seats were a bit narrow but still comfortable.”

Pacific Pinball Museum
4.8
( 8 reviews )

1510 Webster St, Alameda, CA 94501, United States

“This place is amazing and a real treasure! One entry fee for all-you-can-play pinball! The machines are in very good condition and each one features signage detailing the history and significance of the game. The non-profit Pacific Pinball Museum takes its mission seriously, educating the public about the art and sport of pinball. They also have awesome jukeboxes, free to play, with music from the decade matching each game room they are found in. Admission price is totally reasonable, they do offer a student/senior/teacher discount and I got my money's worth in the first hour of play! Personally I prefer to pay one price, then play for free, compared with paying for each game as I go. The city of Alameda is clean and safe, unlike neighboring Oakland, and there are places to eat nearby if you get hungry and take a break from playing pinball; the PPM gives you a wristband to leave and come back in on the same day. The staff is friendly and they obviously love what they do. I recommend setting aside several hours to enjoy all the various pinball tables and exhibits. They also have merch for sale. Admission is half price on Tuesdays. You cannot go wrong with the Pacific Pinball Museum because it is a TON of FUN!!!”

”The California Theater, located right in downtown San Jose, is a great place to see a show! I saw a Tech Roast and was on the first floor, which had pretty good seats. Audio is great as well! The entire location is GORGEOUS. The tasteful decorations and ambient lighting elevates your experience. There are clean, standard bathrooms on site, and the staff is very welcoming and lovely. Regal Promenade
4.6
( 8 reviews )

550 Deep Valley Dr Suite 336, Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274, United States

”It's a very calm and quiet place but also it was a holiday so perhaps it's normally busier. They had nice decorations around to take some holiday photos. The environment was friendly. I was very happy to see so many POC it made me feel welcomed. I never have before but we were at the cinema to see "The Color Purple," movie. So the atmosphere was very happy, cheery and united. It felt beautiful. The movie was awesome. They were many shops but they weren't open due to the holiday. ⭐⭐ There's an ice skating rink on the first floor towards the center of the shopping center. - The was an available Restaurant open for dining on the first floor on the opposite end. Then young lady who was the hostess that afternoon was polite, super sweet and had great customer service. She gave people directions to the movies theaters. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cinema Staff: Seemed Polite/No amazing customer service but not bad customer service either. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Down points: The seats worked well and lounged back although we my party and I sat in row H at the top the leather seat were peeling everywhere. Perhaps they're older. They were cracking. You could tell when they turned the lights on or when I shined a light to look for something I had dropped. ⭐⭐ They didn't look like the websites profile seats. ⭐⭐⭐ The Movie The actual Color Purple Movie was incredible. Would definitely watch multiple times. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Getting to the Cinema/Theater: • Directory near restaurant opposite wind of cinema/theater • Available parking garage • Elevators on premises (quickest/nearest option) • Escalators on premises (all weren't working) • Stairs on premises if you want a little work out • Wheelchair accessible In Theater/Cinema: • Bathroom near entrance towards the right • Concession stand towards the left upon entering • Photo booth towards the right - I think there were a few games in that area as well”

”I was excited to be able to see this iconic landmark. One cool piece of information I got was that the blinking light on top of the building is actually Morse code. If you watch it, it spells out "Hollywood". Great sight to see and don't forget to check out the star of all the Beatles out front as well as the amazing mural on the side.”

”Really great venue work good amenities, seats, and a nice waiting area pre show. There's parking on site, but it locks up for the night 30 mins after the venue closes, so move your car immediately. Parking is difficult to see headed south but is right next to the venue. The staff is super efficient and friendly. There are only two small bathrooms, FYI. Good refreshment options and a nice outdoor courtyard enfolded into the venue.”

John Muir National Historic Site
4.7
( 8 reviews )

4202 Alhambra Ave, Martinez, CA 94553, United States

”Crazy how we stumbled on this returning home from visiting the Marin Headlands but here goes. I knew a little something about John Muir and his legacy including his cofounding of the Sierra Club. My university has his entire library and collection of written works which are accessible online. He got to write about his adventures and political advocacy with the comfort of the mansion, property, and his wife's family resources and friends support. I did learn more about his later years and it's interesting to think about how far he walked with what a piece of bread in his pocket from Martinez to Yosemite. He traveled to various continents. I had a blast ringing the bell!”

Los Feliz Theater

”I absolutely enjoyed my movie watching experience at this theatre. They've maintained it beautifully from the curtains to the chairs are comfy and even designed the pre-movie clips to be old-fashioned. I also liked the small theatre intimate feeling for a change compared to those HUGE cinemas. Would definitely recommend anyone to pass by and watch a movie in one of LAs oldest theatres :)”
