“Unbeatable location three stops on the airport air train to our terminal and others. This must be a relatively new hotel as of end 2023. The rooms were clean and spacious, nicely decorated with good quality furniture. Marble bathrooms. Views of the runways. They have an awesome restaurant. We were up early showered and at our gate in 40 minutes. Worth every penny!!”

“The cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. Nicely decorated, super comfy bed. Lots of water pressure in the shower. Nice pool area with a fire feature. Guests get 40% off in the coffee shop. Convenient location to freeway and Imperial Beach. The 7 mile casino next door has excellent food. My only suggestion, patio heaters on the coffe shop patio would be a great addition. The view of the wetlands is very nice.”

“Great location - 10 minute walk to Disneyland, connected to a large shopping mall with lots of restaurants and kid-friendly activities. Room was beautiful - huge shower and tub, lighted magnifying mirror, nice coffee station and fridge, plenty of tech outlets. Only downside to this hotel is the cost. Besides the very high room rate, they call this a “resort” and charge a $30/day resort fee, but other than some nice restaurants, I’m not sure it has anything worthy of that title. The pool, for example, is a simple rectangle with lounge chairs. They do give you some options to recoup the fee (nightly wine tasting and morning yoga) so maybe you can make that work!”

“As a dedicated traveler who frequently chooses IHG Kimpton for my accommodations worldwide, I've accumulated more than 20 nights with Kimpton. Unfortunately, my recent stay has been the most disappointing. 1. The room and bedding were not up to standard; pervasive dust triggered my serious dust allergy, necessitating daily medication. 2. Despite assurances that our laundry, dropped off at 9:30 am for same-day delivery, faced delays. The staff visited twice to fetch it, and by day's end, they claimed there was nothing they could do, resulting in our clothing being sent back. 3. Throughout the day, staff replaced water and drinks in our room but neglected other cleaning. They approached us at 9 pm about room cleaning, posing a challenge with a sleeping child. 4. We were charged for items we never used. 5. Room service for breakfast, ordered for 8 am, arrived at 9:20 due to delays in preparation, disrupting our entire day's travel schedule. Will not stay here again.”

”The room was great and the property was beautiful. There were also some really kind staff members. Considering this is a 5-star hotel I was really surprised to not receive housekeeping even once on a 3 night stay. This meant my coffee wasn’t refilled and I had to reuse towels. After requesting some items with the front desk, nobody ever showed up with them as they said they would over the phone. On top of that, there were obnoxiously loud protesters in the lobby that disturbed the peace for the entirety of my stay. I’m sure there are laws that protect protesters, but to allow them INSIDE the hotel property while making so much noise (drumming and screaming all day) is baffling to me. All things added up, this was a pretty awful stay and I’ll be looking elsewhere for future business visits.”

”A charming hotel in the heart of L.A.. This is the second hotel I’ve visited that was once a bank in an iconic city and they did a beautiful job of keeping the original charm of the building, yet making it a comfortable and stunning place to stay. The shower was the best shower ever with the highest quality fixtures, excellent water pressure, excellent temperature, and plenty of space and nice towels and soap products. A couple of things they could improve on: the beds are very comfortable, but they are lined with a plastic layer that will make you sweat and there is no coffee maker or blow dryer in the room. If you do makeup, you might struggle because they need better lighting and a makeup mirror that pulls out from the wall. There are a few nice perks that come with a stay here: complementary glasses of wine for two (available at restaurant downstairs during dinner hours), a nice sized food credit for the restaurant, and a free dessert. Dear Chef: Please note never to serve that pudding dessert you served on December 7th again unless you change the topping. It tasted good, but the topping looked exactly like dried and toasted meal worms. I couldn’t get past it, so I could not finish it. All in all, we had a short but great stay.”
