Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest Visitor Center
4.9
( 10 reviews )

White Mountain Rd, Bishop, CA 93514, United States

“Access to this park is a long, gravel road but worth the drive. The ancient trees are amazing to see for yourself. The Visitor's center was closed when we went but there is plenty of information around it and along the trails.”

Sf City Guides
4.9
( 8 reviews )
Close until 10:00 AM

100 Larkin St, San Francisco, CA 94102, United States

“Oh my, what a treasure City Guide Tours is! We went on 3 this visit and each one was fabulous! I do not remember all of our tour guides names except Gail, but the 3 women were amazing! They were each so well organized, researched and friendly. If you want to see and/or learn about San Francisco I cannot think of a better way. I wish we had known about these tours on previous visits. The tours are all donation based so folks of all income levels can participate and give according to their ability. What a gift and resource this volunteer tour program is!”

Garden Amp
4.7
( 16 reviews )

12762 Main St, Garden Grove, CA 92840, United States

“It's a small venue with great sound and no bad seat. Lots of security personel ( I was a little worried about that since it was an all ages event ) street parking so get there early. It didn't get 5 stars because of the restroom 😁 …”

The Gamble House
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Close until 10:00 AM

4 Westmoreland Pl, Pasadena, CA 91103, United States

“Are you a fan of Back to the Future? Then come visit the Gamble House (of Proctor and Gamble). This is where they filmed the exterior shots of Doc Brown's house and garage. I took both an interior tour and a walking tour of the neighborhood. Lots of great historical information on mid-century Craftsman homes, architecture and the Gamble family. The extra fun aspect is how this location was used in Back to the Future! Be sure to get your tour tickets in advance online.”

Desert View Tower
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Close until 08:00 AM

01 In-Ko-Pah Park Rd, Jacumba Hot Springs, CA 91934, United States

”Loved this place, I reviewed it under another name already. We just happened to see it while driving by. We stopped to check it out. The gift shop was closed, I believe because a hurricane was coming. There were people there who lived on the property, either owners or caretakers. They were very nice, let us walk thru the cave/Boulder trail for free (tho I left a donation in the box). They had beautiful well behaved dogs. We saw a couple of peacocks, the guew was awesome and the cave walk and carvings were cool. I am sorry I missed the gift shop, would Def stop again if I was in the area. It was a nice break from driving. I believe you can go in the tower when it's open, but even from the outside it was nice.”

Humphrey's Concerts By The Bay
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Close until 11:30 AM

2241 Shelter Island Dr, San Diego, CA 92106, United States

”First time at Humphrey's for The Teskey Brothers, and it was beautiful. Great venue, parking was very easy ( which is not usually the case in San Diego), and the entrance was very well organized and quick access to inside the venue. Drinks were normal priced, staff very friendly, and we ( my wife and I) had an absolutely great time! The fake grass ( lawn area) was well taken care of, and the stage was very easy to see from anywhere you wanted to stand. The sound was superb, and the show was unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back.”

Vibrato Grill Jazz
4.6
( 8 reviews )

2930 Beverly Glen Cir, Los Angeles, CA 90077, United States

”This is a perfect/not so hidden Jem.💎 It's definitely a great place to come for a date night or simply just a special night out. Plan in advance and reserve at least a week ahead if you want to ensure good seating. No reservation is needed if it's at the bar. The atmosphere is vibrant, modern, cozy, and relaxing, with a hint of fine dining all at the same time. Service was fast without compromising the quality of our food and drinks. You can come with kids, but I wouldn't recommend it. This is more for date night or a special gathering amongst friends. Not many places have live Jazz music now a days. It's great to have found a place that is still doing it right. 😎 🎷 DEFINITELY ADD THIS TO YOUR BUCKET LIST! 👌👌👌👌”

Mccallum Theatre
4.6
( 8 reviews )

73000 Fred Waring Dr, Palm Desert, CA 92260, United States

”We purchased expensive front row center seats for Coco movie with live orchestra. This facility didn’t indicate these were seats with obstructed view. Could not see the characters or the subtitles. See the photo below, this was our view, the people next to us left during intermission. I wrote the theatre and never received any kind of reply. Tells me what kind of folks run this operation.”

Cal Performances
4.7
( 10 reviews )

101 Zellerbach Hall, Berkeley, CA 94720, United States

”I have been going to Cal Performances since I was a kid and I really appreciate the diversity of performers they bring in. There really is something for everyone. I hope they continue on for decades! The arts are so important! Zellerbach is great. They are back to serving alcohol/drinks and snacks. I suppose parking is a negative -- they open the lot under the hall and down by the RSF. I didn't see how much they charge since it was a night show and we were able to find free 2 hour parking on the street but that is something to take into account.”

Geffen Playhouse
4.7
( 8 reviews )

10886 Le Conte Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024, United States

”Really pretty venue- interior is so nice. And the outdoor space is nice. Staff super friendly. Not sure if there was a water fountain or not- I didn't see one. Cons- only had one ticket agent for purchasing tickets, other was for will call only. This led to a somewhat long line. And the seats were really narrow from armrest to armrest. The legroom was good but they had also added 2 rows of seating at the front so even in the "strictly 2nd" row, half of the stage was blocked as those seats were all on level floor (not descending in height). So, hoping they redo the seating and ticketing window.”

Palladio Luxe Cinema
4.5
( 8 reviews )

400 Palladio Pkwy, Folsom, CA 95630, United States

”Amazing atmosphere, definitely felt under dressed. 😅 Absolutely beautiful.(: There was a full bar; beer, wine, and cocktails, and their food menu was amazing. 🤌💯🥰 The seats in the movie theater were comfortable and adjustable. It was an amazing experience, definitely worth going back to. Honestly makes me not want to pay to see a movie anywhere else. This is THE spot. 💯💖”

August Hall

( 10 reviews )

420 Mason St, San Francisco, CA 94102, United States

Lesher Center For The Arts
4.7
( 8 reviews )

1601 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, United States

”Great place to see the performing arts. Everyone put on a great performance tonight. On a side note: Please remember this is not a "Movie" theater. Please bring age appropriate children because they will be scared of the loud special effects. Lastly please just follow the rules and put your phones away. It ruins the experience when the staff has to shoosh your kids. Limited wheelchair seating if you can not transfer, the accessible seats are only if you can transfer out of your wheelchair.”

James Cole Winery
4.9
( 8 reviews )

5014 Silverado Trail, Napa, CA 94558, United States

”James Cole wines are a favorite at our table. We've been members here for years. The tasting experience is top-notch with pleasant, knowledgeable ambassadors for the winery. Being a member has such great perks too! Their Spring and Summer Release parties are festive and provide a chance to really enjoy the gardens. We're fans!”

4 Color Fantasies
4.7
( 10 reviews )

8045 Archibald Ave #120, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701, United States

”Was visiting the area and wanted to stop by. It is a pretty big place, and we were immediately greeted. The employee was very helpful when we had questions about particular issues. They have mostly independent comics, and the bigger name comics seem to be low or out of stock. They also sell collectibles and other hard to find funko pop merchandise. It's a great place to check out.”
