“No call no show from the coach??? Booked one reservation a week in advance for a group lesson for 2:15pm. Arrived at the exact spot I was instructed to at 1:50pm and saw no one in sight. Called the phone number listed on the website at 2:05pm to make sure I was where I was supposed to be and my called was rejected. They immediately texted me asking if I was calling for surf lessons. I responded immediately by saying I already made a reservation but didn’t see anyone. 14 minutes later: “Hold on, I’ll check with the coach.” 5 minutes go by. At this point it’s 10 minutes after my lesson was supposed to have started so I simply say “If the lesson is cancelled, please just let me know now so my refund can be processed and I don’t have to wait around.” 3 minutes later they text and say they’ll be refunding me. I came to LA on vacation and won’t get another opportunity to try surfing for a long time. Therefore, I tried to pick a place that seemed professional and reputable. Turns out, this is not that place. Had they told me the lesson would be canceled even a day earlier, my girlfriend and I would have been able to plan to spend our one allotted day at the beach doing other fun things instead of preparing for a surf lesson that never happened. Had I not contacted them myself, I wonder if they would have ever realized a lesson was scheduled at all. The only thing keeping this review from being a one star rating is that they did process the refund quickly. However, even though I got the email confirmation of the refund quickly, the email stated that the funds would be refunded to my bank account “up to 15 working days” later. TL;DR: Surf anywhere else. Edit: the morning after I left this review they attempted to call my cell phone at 8 in the morning, presumably to confront me about it. I, of course, did not answer.”

She explained what I should particularly be looking for in a running shoe and presented me with a few different pairs for me to try. She also offered socks and insoles but was not at all pushy about it. I found the perfect pair of running shoes thanks to her expertise! Also purchased some running socks. She also provided me w/ info and suggested i attend the store's evening runs. Which I may be doing soon :) I will definitely be returning for all of my running needs!”

“Trails are easy on most of the arches we visited. Love the area in Alabama Hills. Great place to stargaze and camp. No bathroom just portable potty on some locations. I love the beauty of Mt. Whitney with snow on top. We visited in late Dec and some of the roads were closed.”

Special shout out to Keara, who always brings the heat 🔥 and the beats 🎵 to take you to the next level. Cannot recommend her classes enough if you're looking to take your fitness to another level.”

“When adults and teens could have their own ‘playground’ a.k.a the sports area, the park is 5 stars for me. Loved the sports area!! But I hope the city will build more courts, as one volleyball and basketball won’t be enough on warmer days. Also, maybe the park would make lower park and upper park connected with cars in the future, it’s gonna be better to enjoy the entire area.”
