“Went on a date to celebrate getting a new job. We had the oxtail dumplings, ricotta gnocchi, eggplant, fried cauliflower, the venison loin, and the toffee pudding. The experience as a whole was fantastic. It truly felt like an artistic experience as much as a culinary one. The food was delicious and the menu is so carefully crafted for fall. The staff is top tier and are professionals without question. Definitely a life-enhancing experience and I will be back!”

I did enjoy the flavor of the BBQ sauce. The twice-baked potato was tasty too. I really do enjoy the atmosphere of Larrupin. The location and this place on a rainy evening made it awesome too. I still recommend Larrupin.”

It made me feel like they just had opened the store as they staff were so friendly and excited about their work. Super friendly people running the store. Congrats to the owner for having such people taking care of their store and delivering high quality. Alex was amazing and he took really good care of us. The food was amazing. I recommend Both Burger Patty Melt and Billionaire Burger. This was our first time in Manhattan beach and I really enjoyed visiting the place and its people.”

All the signs were good, at least up to that point. There was a long wait for our food. When it arrived, it was average at best, and certainly not worth the $40 we paid. The Country Fried Steak was particularly dismal. Perhaps we visited on a bad day for the chef, but I don’t think we’ll be back.”

I don’t understand why they’d do 1 server for a group of 28 but she was def trying her best while being very pleasant. 3/5 Atmosphere overall score: 1/5 Inside was extra hot, it could be because of the open kitchen plus all the bodies but it was like a sauna inside. 1/5 I’m willing to give this place another shot, maybe it’s just not a good place for big groups.”
