“Will, our concierge, was the first person to greet us at 1 Hotel after our 14 hour flight from Sydney to LA. He made us feel at home and at ease straight away. EVERY staff member we interacted with (valet, breakfast, house keeping, front desk) were exactly the same as Will, and that is, kind, courteous and willing to do whatever they could over our 4 night stay to make it as relaxing and pleasant as possible. Our connecting rooms, 1001 and 1002, were spectacular. So clean and comfortable and just a great space to relax and look forward to coming home too after our days adventures. We and the kids loved it. The hotel lobby, courtyard gardens, and pool deck were just so nicely arranged, especially with all the Christmas lights and decorations!, it was truly hard to believe we were in the middle of West Hollywood on Sunset Blvd. What an amazing hotel experience. Thank you to all the team at 1 Hotel for making our first leg of our US trip a truly memorable one. ☆☆☆☆☆”

“Unbelievably friendly people every time we call and incredible service! And the property we stayed in was perfect. We got stuck 3 hours before check-in when another property management company cancelled our reservation last minute without warning. We scrambled to find a new place for the family reunion and luckily found a property managed by Tahoe luxury properties. Even though we needed same day check-in they scrambled to help us. They were so courteous and supportive and helpful. By far, one of the best experiences with a property management company.”

“Stayed here for a concert at Chase. Hotel is one of the closest to the site, maybe 1/2 mile. The rooms are a bit worn, black out drapes were ripped and you aren't able to turn off the bathroom fan. Beds are comfortable. The front desk staff were amazing.. very helpful. Limited parking below hotel at $79. Fairly good buffet breakfast.”

”Attended the Sunday sessions rooftop party with friends. Drinks were nice and the rooftop bar and fireplace were excellent. The rooftop event space overlooks the city and the sea! I would like to add that your staff member Robbie Walker was an amazing attendant, who showed us around and made us feel so comfortable. We were invited by her, and she made the entire night feel like a dream! We will def7be returning.”

”I only viewed the common areas, I did not stay the night here. I ate dinner at the restaurant, which is separated from the chateau by a small garden. I highly recommend the restaurant, The Elderberry House. However, they also offer a concierge service to stock your fridge if you’d like. Chateau du Sureau was created by a woman from Austria in 1984. Her and her family lived near Yosemite and wanted to open a fine dining and luxury hotel in the middle of nowhere. It’s a place of elegance, much different than its surroundings 🎑”

”Very nice hotel, great staff, friendly and helpful. Great location, quiet, nestled in the back. Rooms are of luxury with nice balconies. The lotion and hair products are full size. Very nice! and by the way..so great smelling that before I left went to the spa inside hotel and bought the products I used and will be back again..to possibly do a treatment. The lounge was nice. Excellent food and the staff was so on it! Running around and happy too! That's what I love to see. Will definitely be back again when I want to take a different vacation stay. I have a place on Mission Bay on water. but this one, my friend and I were celebrating our birthdays so wanted something different and this definitely was worth it. Thank you!”

”The old house is nice. Nice wine and cheese in evenings. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom tiny and old but functional. Breakfast was delicious, staff is friendly. Our visit was in October when a very abnormal heat wave hit, when we arrived we saw the blinds open, windows wide open, and only provided a 5 inch fan to cool off, would of liked to be welcomed with a cooler room or bigger fan. Overall it was clean.”

The grounds were well maintained and they were fun to explore. We had everything we needed in our tent for cooking. So nice to have drinkable water everywhere! Food was pricey but delicious. MANY bugs but none in our tents thankfully. We will definitely come back.”

”Excellent location. Horribly unkind, uncaring staff who most certainly do not represent the hotel well. From the dismissive valet staff (a young lady & a gentleman working Friday eve) who refused to answer a patron's question and ignored them for 15 minutes, to the unfriendly, unwelcoming front of house staff who could not have been more unhelpful during my visit, this is a beautiful property in a prime location whose management need to call an all-staff meeting to remind employees that they work in HOSPITALITY. Kindness, understanding, and a smile go a long way in letting guests know you're happy they chose your property with so many others on offer. Please do better, it's a shame with how stunning the hotel is that the service isn't just as awesome.”
