“I go there for lunch with a buddy of mine and everything was delicious. The only cons is the pork belly cuts are sloppy and very small wish they can make the cut better and bigger so it wont just look like a mess throw in my plate and really annoying to try cook every small little pieces at the grill because it also too thin and burn easily before everything cook evenly.”

“Went in for dinner after work, wasn't as crowded as a weekend or holiday, everything I normally pass, this place is packed. Food was great like always, our server was very patient and polite as we took a minute to decide wat we each wanted. Made sure our water was never fully out. And didn't rush us out as it was close to closing.”

“This is my second time visiting San Soo Kap San. The first time we were a group of 7/8 people and since someone else treated me I didn’t know what exactly to e ordered but my money is on Combo C. This time it as just me and a friend and we ordered Fried Dumplings, Pork Belly bbq for one and egg fried rice with beef. The egg fried rice was my favorite. Since they only bbq pork belly on the table only when it more than one order, they bbqd the meat in kitchen. I personally like it less cooked and on the medium rare side. This one was Medium. Sides and sauces served with it were good. The Fried Dumplings were juicy and the skin crunchy. Overall a good experience and I am definitely going back for fried rice.”

“What a great surprise!! We stumbled across this place while searching for some quick good food, and we were quite surprised by the service and atmosphere. Our server Jensen gave us one of the best experiences we’ve had in Florida - was super knowledgeable and taught us some things about korean bbq and soju. We’ve been to many korean bbq places, including cote (michelin star), and I dare to say this one has nothing to lose - the unlimited sides with well done kimchis were amazing, the sauces were great, and the quality of the meat was awesome. the price was fair too, I’d say, We’ve spent $89 with two meats (brisket wagyu & marinated short ribs) + a soju. Super recommended!”

“This 25 year old hole in the wall really reminded us the street restaurants in Korea. The cafeteria chairs, square block tables when you have nowhere to put your feet, dark and K-Pop videos playing on TV. It doesn't get anymore authentic then this, and so are the food items. There are no BBQ here, you can get the BBQ kababs cooked for you over the grill though. They are just ok for me. The highlight is the rice cake (the big ones, made from rice, not powder), pork skin, the sweet and spicy chicken and the intestines that we had, the perfect balance of flavor for us, not overly spiced. Another thing is, you don't see the typical coat of oil and grease at the bottom of the plate, including the ones with cheese. We will surely return to check on the hot pots and others. It is definitely not a place for a date, but for a quick Korean street food fix, this is it.”

Kogi Gogi Bbq

“My family and I ate here on 1/31/22 for dinner. We stuck with the all-you-can-eat selections and what they had was good. My family had a good time. I didn't like that the radish wrap had oranges in it. The service was good. Once you wave at someone; they will quickly come to see if you need anything after they dealt with their immediate task. We had a party of 8 so we had two cooking stoves - split into four people per stove.”

“Ordered chicken hibachi, and found a bone in my chicken cuts. I was so grossed out, I couldn’t finish the meal. Ordered in, and the food has very little flavor. Seem to rely on teriyaki sauce for everything. Second time I’ve come here. And second time in disappointed, but worse cause I had to chew a bone.”

“I love this place. This is the best Korean BBQ restaurant in NOVA. We visited for lunchtime on weekdays and ordered a Combination of Cool Noodle + 2 strips LA Galbi for $22. My parents are very picky about Korean Cool Noodles, especially 물냉면 and they loved 물냉면 here. We visited there for dinner too on weekends. We like All you can it BBQ the most. We paid $32 and it was worth it. The thin brisket was great to start, the steak was tender and tasty, spicy pork was so delicious with sliced garlic and fresh pepper. All the food was so fresh and the servers were super nice and know how to treat their customers. Both adults and kids enjoyed the atmosphere here. Don't forget to ask Melona(Korean ice cream) for free dessert.”

Jeon Ju Korean Bibimbap Restaurant

“Jeon Ju Korean Bibimbap Restaurant offers the best bibimbap in Los Angeles, hands down. The dish is made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, making it a standout in terms of taste and presentation. The bibimbap is incredibly flavorful, with a mix of savory and sweet tastes that work together to create a satisfying and delicious meal. The rice is perfectly cooked and has the right amount of stickiness, while the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The egg on top is cooked just right, adding a creamy and rich element to the dish. Jeon Ju Korean Bibimbap Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for the best bibimbap in Los Angeles. The dish is made with care and precision, resulting in an incredibly satisfying and delicious meal that is not to be missed.”

“Service: The worker was a bit short with us but did offer to give us an extra popsicle since the one we wanted was out of stock after we paid. Atmosphere: The place is small and cute and clean. The door is left open so people come and go and you can definitely people watch if you’re into that. Food: The katsu was honestly all breading and no meat. It was so thin that it felt like I was just eating crisp with nothing else. While I liked the crisp, I would’ve enjoyed some juicy pork meat inside as well. The sauce was good and the rice was good as well. My friend got the bibimbap and she would give it a 7.5/10. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing, the spicy pork in it was really good though! The watermelon popsicle was very cute but taste wise was mid. The shark popsicle was fire and I would definitely get that one again.”

Ryuu Asian Bbq
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

2766 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647, United States

“Cute atmosphere, but the food was a solid 3/10. We ordered the spicy bulgogi (had no spice whatsoever) and the LA Kalpi meat and they were both drenched in marinade to the point where you couldn’t even enjoy it. The grill was barely hot so it also took pretty long to cook. Lastly, I recommend you skip the ice cream. We ordered the green tea matcha and the strawberry flavors and they were not good. Do yourself a favor and go to Iron Age instead.”

Salt Korean Bbq

1222 Welsh Rd, North Wales, PA 19454, United States

“I love this restaurant! I’ve been to Salt at least five times since its opening and I’m never disappointed in the food. It’s always delicious and there are so many menu options. Even better if you can go with a group and do the bbq. Salt is modern, and well thought out. It has that city vibe but it’s in the suburbs. You will be sure to have a good time. Sometimes the servers are hit or miss…I’ve had some be really attentive and others lack luster but the food makes up for it. Make sure you book in advance if you are going on a peak night.”

“Slightly disappointed in my interaction from earlier this morning. I got half the portion size I normally get of the #8. I called to ask if they’ve adjusted the portion size and the call was/got disconnected. I probably won’t be getting this particular item again or at the very least I’ll check before leaving the restaurant. They’re open 24/7 and the food is great.”

“We ordered the pork cutlet and the bibimbap, they were simple, fresh, and very good. The venue is very small but there is plenty of nice outdoor seating. To top the food, the woman running it is soooo incredibly nice, she was just wonderful! We highly recommend this nice little Korean kitchen!”
