“We made reservation for 2 hours of axe throwing and had the best time!! They gave great instructions and taught us how to throw correctly. We really enjoyed that they had several different games for us to choose from projected onto the wood we were throwing at. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. They had drinks and snack for purchase to enjoy while we played. If you’re looking for something fun to do, you have to check them out!”

“No call no show from the coach??? Booked one reservation a week in advance for a group lesson for 2:15pm. Arrived at the exact spot I was instructed to at 1:50pm and saw no one in sight. Called the phone number listed on the website at 2:05pm to make sure I was where I was supposed to be and my called was rejected. They immediately texted me asking if I was calling for surf lessons. I responded immediately by saying I already made a reservation but didn’t see anyone. 14 minutes later: “Hold on, I’ll check with the coach.” 5 minutes go by. At this point it’s 10 minutes after my lesson was supposed to have started so I simply say “If the lesson is cancelled, please just let me know now so my refund can be processed and I don’t have to wait around.” 3 minutes later they text and say they’ll be refunding me. I came to LA on vacation and won’t get another opportunity to try surfing for a long time. Therefore, I tried to pick a place that seemed professional and reputable. Turns out, this is not that place. Had they told me the lesson would be canceled even a day earlier, my girlfriend and I would have been able to plan to spend our one allotted day at the beach doing other fun things instead of preparing for a surf lesson that never happened. Had I not contacted them myself, I wonder if they would have ever realized a lesson was scheduled at all. The only thing keeping this review from being a one star rating is that they did process the refund quickly. However, even though I got the email confirmation of the refund quickly, the email stated that the funds would be refunded to my bank account “up to 15 working days” later. TL;DR: Surf anywhere else. Edit: the morning after I left this review they attempted to call my cell phone at 8 in the morning, presumably to confront me about it. I, of course, did not answer.”

“My daughter wanted to skydive for her 18th birthday so we chose skydive buckeye for her first experience as I had used them before and had a wonderful experience every time. The staff was very helpful, the turbo prop aircraft achieved 14k feet of altitude in a short time and the deluxe video package I purchased for my daughter was spot on. We have watched it over and over and was a wonderful way to preserve her memory of her first jump for a lifetime. The staff was very upbeat and their excitement spilled over to all of us jumpers...a truly great experience and we will certainly be back again.”

“My husband and I went here for date night. The price was great for an hour. You think at first it’s a bit much but after being there for an hour it’s fitting. The staff were friendly and very greeting. Explained everything and left us to it. My husband and I had so much fun. My only complaint is the lane we had the board was a little worn. We still had a great time though. There is more than just axe throwing. They have video games, large connect four and ton of other stuff I suggest you visit to see. We will definitely be going back!”

“This was a bucket list, birthday gift for my wife as she’s always a wanted to operate heavy equipment. The staff was very helpful in our planning and I would recommend reservations to make sure that they have staff available when you plan to be there. In addition to my wife, my boys (12 and 17) both got to operate equipment. Everyone LOVED it and said that their instructors were pleasant, informative, personable and happy to help. “I was entertaining a friend from Mexico who wanted to see the fall colors, so I decided to check the falls out after going through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Roan Mountain State Park. We both agreed that this was the best view of anything we saw on the trip. We didn’t have much time, so we were only able to make it to the upper falls overlook, Chimney View overlook, and Erwin’s View overlook. We both wished we had a lot more time, as we only had about an hour until it got dark. While it is possible to do the whole thing in an hour, I would say that there is easily half a day of hiking and viewing available here.”
