“Had a great short business trip here, and I have to tell you the staff is super friendly and accommodating. I was in town for a training session, in which a conference room was rented, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. I felt that they went over and above by providing the A/V cables we needed as well as printed copies of documents and even AAA batteries. The location seems to be super convenient (I am not familiar with the area) with some restaurants within walking distance. I wish I would have gotten the staff member's names so I could highlight them here, but everyone I encountered was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely return if I am ever back in Wausau!”

“After having quite the day of bad weather missed flights, and finally ending up in Milwaukee around midnight, I found myself without a room I called and the girl at the front desk Her name was Anastasia. Extremely nice. She immediately sent a shuttle over to the airport to pick me up and from the moment I walked in those doors the service was just excellent. I would highly recommend, this establishment the rooms were super clean even when I went to breakfast the next morning the staff was super friendly and nice thank you all for making me feel welcome”

“My husband and I stayed at Larsmont for a winter getaway. We had a king suite lake view and the view was amazing! We loved the 24 hour sauna. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was very good and nice to have within walking distance. We would definitely recommend and would like to visit again.”

“Loved my stay here. This was my first ever time staying in a hostel, and it was exactly what I needed. Friendly employees, good spaces to study/work, good security, great food! I only had one roommate in my 6 person dorm, so that was fine but I can't speak for the full experience of all travelers. The buildings seem very historic and fit neatly into the landscape of NW Portland. I feel very happy now knowing that I have a cheap place to stay and feel welcome if I'm ever back in Portland again.”

“A very enjoyable stay and a great property. I stayed two nights, and the staff here are very customer service oriented. Tina at the front desk was the highlight of my stay, assisting me with questions before I had even arrived at the hotel. Upon arrival, she was very nice and provided me a list of the best restaurants in town along with things to do. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable with a great view. The parking situation was very easy, and there is a great sushi place just a few yards away! This hotel has a nice pool, gym, and hot tub, and is perfect for families. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the managers, to the housekeepers were on top of it. Thank you again Tina! I will definitely be back.”

“- great size room - amazing staff, very helpful and willing to accommodate - The breakfast bar was on time and always full - amazing location - 3 min walk from the pier and next to a lot of restaurants - eco friendly bathroom items (soaps, shampoo, lotion, etc) - The hotel is only 4 floors so breakfast never felt crowded and the elevator didn't take forever to come - travelled with 1 yr old and pack and play was in room and easy to assemble - they put us in a room with only one neighbor so when our kid kept crying or woke up at 5am we didn't feel too horrible - no sound from neighbors or in the hallway. - good black out curtains - housekeeping willing to do daily trash pick up/all staff very friendly”

“I stayed here last night due to a snowstorm coming in. I work in Naperville but reside in Oak Lawn and didn’t want to deal with the morning commute. Upon walking inside, I was greeted by one gentleman and another, named Omar. I felt out of place at first because I’m usually a 3 star hotel gal but decided I needed to treat myself. Omar almost immediately was able to change that and made me feel very welcomed and more confident about my decision. When I walked into the room, it looked exactly like the pictures online. My first thing that had to be done was getting a nice bath and it has been a while since I felt that relaxed. I was going to order room service but was very limited on what I could get so I ordered food from a delivery company which wasn’t a hassle to have delivered to the desk. I liked how you could turn all the lights off with one button while exiting, or turn them on when coming inside the room. Literally my only complaint is the bed was too hard for me personally so I only got 3 hours of sleep. The pillows were so comfy, I liked the duvet, but the bed I just had an issue with and couldn’t get comfortable no matter what. If the beds were a little softer, I’d probably consider staying again when I decide to treat myself. But I definitely recommend staying here if that’s not an issue for you!”

“Just spent a night here but what a delight. So great to check in where the staff is truly friendly and you feel genuinely welcomed. We were in our room for just a few moments when Kendryk at the front desk called to say he’d just made fresh coffee. It’s in the lobby if we’d like some. Our room was clean and smelled great. The best part, and a rarity these days was staying somewhere with caring staff that actually cared you were thee!”

“Lovely, comfortable and quiet, we had an excellent stay. The room and bed were very comfortable, the staff were excellent-friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking around town and parking is under the hotel and very convenient. My one complaint - PLEASE GET BETTER COFFEE. The coffee machine in the lobby for guests was undrinkable - and the restaurant coffee needs a serious upgrade. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable and I would stay there again, but I suggest you get dressed and run down to Cranberry's for coffee.”

“We traveled with 1 kitten at an additional cost which we where aware of at reservation time. What we were not aware of was the Billing. They charged our card two rates, the room and pet rates seperatly. Then I noticed an additional charge which was a combined charge of both stated above. Altogether three separate charges! Called Hotel, manager said the individual charge for room and pet will " drop off" in a few days. They should notify you of this at check out. It would allivate additional calls and not to mention stress. Good ending charges did " drop off" 😊”

“To say that I’m impressed with the service at the Hotel Indigo would somehow be an understatement. After a 5am flight, my husband and I arrived early and exhausted the day of our reservation. Augusta greeted us at the front desk. She was kind, generous and to my surprise, checked us in early so we could get some much needed sleep and enjoy the rest of our weekend in Athens. Augusta continued to check in via text throughout our stay. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped, so we didn’t need anything, but having that contact really came in handy when I realized after we left that I’d left a necklace in the room. Augusta immediately responded to my text, found the necklace and mailed it to my home. She really went above and beyond to make our stay great, and I’m so thankful for it! (Please give her a raise!)”

“I had a great stay. Room was good. No closet but there are ample hooks by door if you needs to hang things. Don’t forget hangers! Common area was very nice. Better than my house! Parking in rear has enough space for count of rooms. Not enough space if people park stupid. I had a few questions while there and my texts were answered with lightening speed. My only complaint is my own fault and that is that I did not book the lone handicapped accessible room. At my age and that I live in a ranch house, I did not account for the two flights of very long stairs to get upstairs. Next time I’m getting the lone lower floor room that has its own kitchen. The neighborhood is fantastic. It’s also convenient to lots of cool places, especially the Bronze Fonz only ten minute drive. Loved it all!”

“I come to Shangri-la often to dine and enjoy the resort. Everytime I’ve been here the service has been hideous in both Docs restaurant and the anchor club house as well as Eddie’s dockside grill. The staff is rude and not customer oriented at all. The food is no better than the service, for being an upscale resort with premium prices customers should expect good service and food. I’d highly recommend replacing some staff or doing some serious retraining. I’m not one to usually complain but this is too bad to let go without some kind of feedback.”
