Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, peas, fried chicken, shrimp, fried cod bites... it was all basic but decent. The food on the menu was good! It was busy, went on a Friday night, and they take reservations. Plenty of seating. I had the grilled 1/4 lb pork chop. Delicious! They have a bar for cocktails. I hear the pies are amazing, but I was too full to try. Next time!”

(do keep in mind the hot fresh fried green tomato will continue to cook the poached eggs, so eat them quickly if you like runny). And the potatoes! Get the small batch hot sauce. I had the antelope lettuce wraps. They were absolutely perfect. The texture. The flavor. The balance of fat to spice. Great use of leftover off cuts of both meat and vegetables. It took what could have been garbage and made it one of the most flavorful, texture filled, and filling lunches I have had in a long time. I adored the fresh house made grapefruit spritzer (I had them hold the simple syrup) which was a great accompaniment to my meal. I enjoyed the French press tea, but would have thought with a French press I would get more than one cup of tea. The house cured bacon 🥓 was a soft chew texture - I personally like my bacon a little crisper - but the flavor was excellent. I will come back again and again. Great spot for the meat lover in your life. Awesome date spot or great for a bro’s brunch. (I saw a few different tables occupied by groups of male friends and/or coworkers.)”

Last time, I got a Eggs Benedict and the English muffins used was not the freshest. Plus the hash browns were not really seasoned. Likely, just a one time occurrence and was ok without all the salt/pepper on hash browns . People I was with got a "skillet" item and omelet. Both were good. Check it out!”
