“Loved the place!! Living in IL for close to 30 years and moving to middle TN we have definitely missed real deal Chicago style food. I got the Italian beef with Mozz cheese and had it kissed in the sauce which was awesome but I think next time I'll get it fully dipped. Also had to of course get a Chicago dog and it was true all the way down to the relish. Awesome place and I even got flack for wearing my STL cardinals shirt which I assumed I would.”

There are only a few locations surviving. But, they do sell the best darn Root Beer in the world, made the original way. Check out this location for very reasonably priced food. Even a grilled cheese sandwich for $1.00. One can leave this place full after spending less than $5.00.”

Other than that - loved the place, atmosphere and all the great dishes. Tip - come a bit early (or stay after your meal if it is still daytime) and walk around the property. Animal Kingdom lodge is beautiful and you get to see some of the Safari animals outdoors. Ask your server about the symbols in the restaurant like the rings on the columns and the Kanu birds all around.”

You are greeted by friendly and pleasant employees. They only sell beer, but there is a lot to choose from. They have their own brewery tanks visible inside for the public to see. To accommodate hungry guests, different food trucks park outside and come daily. A monthly calendar displayed on their wall shows scheduled food trucks. Lively, upbeat music was playing, and people were sitting and enjoying their meals at wood tables. It was a unique place to stop and eat. Visit the A. Fisher Brewing Company when in the area.”
