Goat Yoga At Alaska Farms

( 16 reviews )

9650 Berry Dease Rd, Orlando, FL 32825, United States

“such a great time doing goat yoga. then we had a tiny tour seeing more goats, horses, and emus. the goats were very interactive. the place is small, intimate, and easy to get to. the place is very well maintained and staff very attentive and knowledgeable. please experience once if you've never done before.”

Gator Chateau
4.8
( 16 reviews )

100 Rue de l'Acadie, Jennings, LA 70546, United States

“On our way back from visiting our youngest daughter in Mississippi my husband, oldest daughter and I stop to visit the Gator Chateau. We were extremely excited to hold the baby alligator. They showed us multiple alligators at various ages. The employees were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They explained how the temperature inside is kept the same as outside and they do a lot to help the alligators in their transition into the wild. There is a very old snapping turtle that shares the area with the alligators. A gift shop and tourist information area is also located there. It is dog friendly as long as the dogs are on a leash and kept out of the alligator room/enclosure. There is no fee for admission and I think the Gator Chateau is worth a visit. It is just a bit over half a mile from the highway.”

Dry Falls Visitor Center
4.7
( 8 reviews )

34875 Park Lake Rd NE, Coulee City, WA 99115, United States

“When I was a child, my family drove right past this natural wonder every summer... without ever stopping! Mom and dad, why, oh why didn't we stop to see Dry Falls?! Simply one of the most astounding displays of nature I have ever seen. Standing there with the realization that only 15,000 years ago, that very spot was under a raging torrent of water more than 400 feet deep with another 400 foot drop for the falls. Just amazing! A must see!”

Lakeside Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

4601 Lakeside Dr, Dallas, TX 75205, United States

“Nice park but looks like most part is being renovated. Has nice looking lake but smells under the bridge. There are benches around the lake. Professional photographers taking portrait pictures can be seen. Magnificent sculpture of Teddy bear family. Creek nearby with arc-like bridge which is also good for photo-shoot. Good for day or evening stroll.”

Limestone Branch Distillery
4.9
( 8 reviews )

1280 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Lebanon, KY 40033, United States

“We toured Limestone on the day after Christmas with Angel. She was fantastic with her knowledge, facts, anecdotes about the Beam and Dant families who produced the man who created this distillery. We were provided with samples from the beginning of the tour with the cocktails that came with our ticket until the end at the flight tasting. We were given chocolates to accompany the different whiskeys and Angel provided “tasting tips” as well. Blake created two amazing cocktails for us! He was a fun guy! And I cannot forget the cat who could (literally) open doors! It was a quick seeming tour, fast paced and brimming with information and history lessons. Highly recommend!”

Cherryhawk Farm Apple Orchard
4.8
( 16 reviews )

16220 Springdale Rd, Marysville, OH 43040, United States

“This place is absolutely amazing! We have been going here every year since our daughter was a baby, it is a tradition for us every September. I highly encourage those that go to check their Facebook page regularly because they are really great at posting updates on what’s available at that time, so we plan around their updates and have never left disappointed! Something that sets this place a part for us is that there isn’t a lot of “stuff” to do - we LOVE this because it’s just Apple Picking. It’s quiet, relaxing, and just beautiful. We take breaks during picking to just sit in the sun and talk and enjoy the outdoors. It is everything to me! The only negative I have for this place, is the customer service. We usually bring friends or family when we go and I usually prep them ahead of time that the people working the register are not very kind and every year they have proven this true. There is usually a impatient comment made or judgmental glare by staff while we are paying for our stuff. It’s really frustrating while you are there, but we can typically shake it off by the time we get to the fields. Regardless, this is still where we choose to go because the Orchard is just so wonderful and worth it. I highly recommend it!!”

Fort Ouiatenon
4.7
( 16 reviews )

3129 S River Rd, West Lafayette, IN 47906, United States

“Feast of the Hunters Moon! This reenactment of life in the 1700s has grown larger year after year. The food is great! The Scottish Bridie meat pies and so much more are crowd favorites, but they do sell out so just wait in the line instead of waiting until the line goes down. Tips- park at the Purdue football stadium and take the bus that drops you off at the entrance $4 pp). By far the easiest. No internet! Be prepared. Buy tickets ahead of time so you don’t have to wait in line, and you get a discount.”

Minaret Vista
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Lookout Point Rd, Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546, United States

“Went at dawn and it was absolutely beautiful watching the mountains light up slowly as the sun rose in the east. Plenty of parking at that time of the morning and I found the perfect rock on which to sit and meditate in the day ✨🙏🌄”

“This place is an amazing little treasure right off the road and they have this wonderful little picnic area. The Apple donuts are a must try and the Apple cider slushy is to die for it is so delicious so crisp and fresh. My sister tried the hard cider, and she said they were both very tasty, we also purchased some jam when looking through the cool store the people that work there were really nice and friendly and very professional 10 out of 10 would totally recommend checking out this location and planning on spending some time there and having a picnic. You’ll definitely want to take lots of pictures. The drive is amazing And a little road going into this location is super cute with all the apple trees on the side”

“This is one of my favorite places to just bliss out! I am so entranced by the attention to detail in this garden. The walkways are lit up in the evenings. The sunset is Gorgeous and the Virginia Tech campus in the background just gives it a total romantic ambiance! I took the doggies there for a stroll on Sunday and the weather was Beautiful too! I would highly recommend this place to experience nature at its finest! To all the students, staff and Horticulturists that maintain these gardens 👏🏻 job well done! ♥️💯 💐 🌺”
