Top 5 Public Services & Government in United States

Grace Farms
4.8
( 16 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

365 Lukes Wood Rd, New Canaan, CT 06840, United States

“Very nice place with incredible architecture. Definitely worth to visit. The Food was not the best but that is not what I'm expecting by visiting some kind of museum. Very nice staff!”

New Brighton Passport Office
4.9
( 6 reviews )

Lower Level, 803 Old Hwy 8 NW Suite 1, New Brighton, MN 55112, United States

“Easy experience. Read the website, FOLLOW the DIRECTIONS, make an appointment. Easy and quick. The staff member(I’m sorry I didn’t get her name but she is going to school for bio-chem)that processed me was congenial and kind. She was great to work with! Well done New Brighton!”

Central Library
4.6
( 16 reviews )

10 Grand Army Plz, Brooklyn, NY 11238, United States

“The appearance of the library containing books is shaped like a huge book. Would you believe me if I came just to see the front door? You must take my word for it. Because of course there are things to see around the library as well. There is a park where you can relax. On the first floor of the library, there is a cafe where you can buy tea and snacks, and the restrooms are clean. This place especially has a lot of records and video-related materials. There are many special programs for children, so take note! Another advantage is that the materials are well divided into separate rooms and sections. Above all, the security guard at the desk was very friendly and nice.”

Rubber-cal
4.8
( 8 reviews )

18424 Mt Langley St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708, United States

“Good, durable, imported coconut coir fiber mat by Rubber-Cal. I like the adequate size of the product which is larger than my previous mat but not too big. I like the cool doggie-themed print which is welcoming to any pet person. The fibers are well attached and densely formed over the sturdy rubber backing. I recommend standing on its edge to dry out after rain which also allows the space where you lay it to dry. It does shed small fiber hairs which get tracked inside perhaps due being new and having to break in.”

Rose Garden
4.8
( 8 reviews )

301 Pogue St, Raleigh, NC 27607, United States

“A wonderful place to escape and literally "stop and smell the roses". It is so peaceful and a great chance to explore. I had no idea that roses had sweet, fruity, smells! Very relaxing place to be. I deducted a start because not all of the roses have name plates so I wouldn't be able to know what which are, and the pond in the middle was a bit disheveled and not enough water for the fish. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and made sweet memories.”

Salt Lake City Public Library
4.6
( 8 reviews )

210 E 400 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, United States

“I have been coming here for years. Such a great public library that is well organized and super accessible. The construction itself is awesome and I believe has won awards. It has evolved and changed slightly over the years but it continues to serve the community in a great way. I highly recommend.”

Sacred Heart Community Service

1381 S 1st St, San Jose, CA 95110, United States

“In my experience they make getting help if you're homeless just about impossible! You call, you get an answering machine and it tells you that you need to get an appointment, to get an appointment you have to call between these TWO specific hours on this SPECIFIC day. Then you're told that there ARE NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE AGAIN, at this time!! Really?! When you're homeless, if it's specifically Monday, and you're calling on a Tuesday, 6 days away, before it's Monday again and you can call AGAIN to get told AGAIN that there are NO APPOINTMENTS, seems an eternity!!! I would NEVER HAVE THOUGHT that I would become homeless, but sometimes life throws you a curveball, I now have a brand new understanding of what the homeless people go through and my heart GOES OUT TO THEM! God bless them!! There really is JUST NO HELP FOR THE HOMELESS. So be understanding to them!! When you're out there in the same clothes you have been in for weeks and months, having ONLY WHAT YOU CAN CARRY AROUND WITH YOU, You become so hopeless and frustrated and you go to the internet looking for every organization that you possibly can that gives you SO MUCH MISINFORMATION, and you need to go HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE TO HAVE "INTAKES", and you don't have a car either, and you can't even scrape together enough coins to take a bus or light rail so you miss the INTAKE appointment...So you START OVER and call, tell them you're situation, how DESPITE AND FRIGHTENED AND HUNGRY AND TIRED AND DISAPPOINTED YOU ARE...So here you are again, making ANOTHER appointment hoping that on that day you'll have enough change to take a bus. Yada Yada, YADA!!!! Be KIND TO THE HOMELESS PEOPLE YOU SEE ON THE STREET!!! Say "HI, HOW YOU DOIN?! ACKNOWLEDGE THEM!!! SMILE FOR THEM!!! THEY ARE JUST LIKE THE REST OF US, EXCEPT LIFE THREW THIS HORRIFIC, FRIGHTENING, HOPELESS, CURVEBALL AT THEM!!! THEY'RE DOING THE BEST THAT THEY CAN!! Nobody, NOBODY WANTS TO BE LIVING IN THE STREETS, PARKS, UNDERPASSES, SHOPPING CENTERS ETC!! They are doing the best that they can but it really IS a hopeless situation!!@”

Bushnell Park Conservancy
4.7
( 10 reviews )

99 Trinity St, Hartford, CT 06123, United States

“One of the oldest public municipal parks in the US, it's located in the heart of the city. There's limited roadside parking, and we had to cross the street to get to it. The water in the moat is full of algae, and the fountains are doing a good job of keeping it as clean as possible. There are benches for people to sit and take on the view. There were sparrows taking mud baths, which was very cute to watch as there's water right next to them. But there's a purpose to it. There were a few shady characters and a couple of guys who were riding their scooters inside the park very loudly. Was not sure how it was permitted in the park. Never seen a motorized vehicle in any park before.”

Jefferson County Clerk And Recorder
4.7
( 8 reviews )

100 Jefferson County Pkwy Suite 2560, Golden, CO 80401, United States

“I want to applaud the Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder's office for making getting a marraige license so easy. My fiance and I couldn't get an appointment in Denver, so we checked out Jeff Co. There were tons of appointments available. The county government building was beautiful and had ample parking. We were in and out within 20 minutes, license in hand. This is how government is supposed to work!”

Kohanaiki Beach Park
4.7
( 8 reviews )

PX23+72, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740, United States

“A private feeling beach near a resort. You'll pass through the first part of the resort but there's no need to go through any gate or speak to any attendant. Just follow the signs. When you come down the access road the left side is more sandy and for swimming and the right side is more rocky and reef. I visited the right side. You can take your car down the dirt and gravel road to park right alongside the beach. It was fine for me to do in my two-wheel drive vehicle. I was able to park maybe a quarter mile down in some shade. There are some trees and it's a nice place to hammock. There are a few porta pots along the beach access dirt road. I saw at least four whales in an hour. It's very quiet and feels secluded, save the occasional departing flight.”
