“We first stayed at the Arrowhead Inn on our Wedding night and had not been back since. We were celebrating my wives high school reunion and decided to revisit the place. This time we went for the Lipscomb room, which is the original master bedroom for the house. We also had enough time to see the spectacular grounds. All in all it was a wonderful weekend, being pampered in style. The food was quite good and the room was magnificent. Our only complaint was the height of the bed. My wife is rather short so getting in and out was a challenge.”

“The Hotel Vermont is a modern and clean hotel located in the center of Burlington. The staff is friendly, and the Juniper restaurant and bar are conveniently located inside the hotel. Although there are no discounts for hotel patrons, the food is amazing albeit expensive. The rooms are also very nice. However, the location across from the courthouse and jail raises questions about safety as there are no security cameras on the guest floor levels. Nonetheless, the front desk has staff present for most of the day, which provides a sense of security. Overall, The Hotel Vermont is a lovely place to stay.”

“This was our first time in Gettysburg and I loved the proximity to everything with this B&B. We were able to walk to everything from Mead next door, an Irish Pub, mass, Starbucks, and tours! It was a birthday weekend, and our room had period art with birthday wishes throughout. We also had both houses to ourselves! Perks of going during a snowy weekend. Things to note: breakfast is not included, but offered for a charge. There are two historic homes, so each room selection on their website should let you know what location. We were in the Welty house. This wasn’t clear to me when we booked on a third party site, and please book on their site. So much easier for them and cheaper for us! Finally, we loved sitting and having tea and coffee, watching our favorite show, and keeping warm while the snow fell. Such an amazing experience. Thank you! PS communication was fabulous!”

“Gorgeous, centrally located, moderately priced, dog-friendly hotel in downtown Walla Walla. If you can’t be bothered to walk a block to explore Main Street, there’s a coffee shop and three wine tasting rooms in the premises, and they serve drinks in the lounge in the afternoon/evening. Can’t wait to see how the restaurant looks when it reopens. Rooms in the west wing are typical of chain hotels. Next time will try an upgrade to the rooms in the original historic building.”

We called down and they moved us to the opposite side of the hotel immediately and brought our new keys up. Clutch as that car was still going hours later”

“Charming Boutique Stay in Cleveland We recently had the pleasure of staying at Glidden House in Cleveland, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The location proved to be ideal, especially for those attending events at Severance Hall. A mere 10-minute walk to the concert venue made our stay incredibly convenient. The surrounding area felt clean and safe, contributing to a pleasant and worry-free atmosphere. The staff at Glidden House deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and assistance throughout our stay. Their friendliness added a personal touch to our visit, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. As for the accommodation itself, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring Cleveland. The overall ambiance of the boutique hotel added a unique and charming touch to our stay. I wish it was a little quieter, but its a hotel and others movements are hard to control. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which, while not extravagant, proved to be more than adequate. It provided a good start to our day and added to the overall value of our stay. In conclusion, Glidden House offers a charming and comfortable retreat in the heart of Cleveland. Whether you're attending a concert at Severance Hall or exploring the city, this boutique hotel provides a welcoming haven with excellent service. “I really enjoyed our time here! We rented a room to celebrate my 11 year olds birthday and so she could swim with a couple of her friends. We were all impressed at how nice the rooms were. You could definitely cook and be comfortable for a week or more! The fitness center and pool were definitely nicer than the other hotels in the area. Staff was also pleasant. Well stocked rooms, plenty of towels in the room and pool area.”

“Loved everything about my stay here, came from Maryland in May 2023 for an entire week. Have no complaints. We had the two bedroom two bathroom suite. The room was great. The free breakfast was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was great, very close to 95. But on top of that, I was waiting patiently to get some stuff from the little store they have and I watch a customer berate the clerk so much.... so much. I honestly hope that chick reads this. "Better than you" doesn't work for me. I do not like you, woman. Everyone pays the same. You and your little dog can go way down. Actually, it isn't your dog's fault that you suck. “I don't know why I was the last my alarm shot to be served in my party. I have to wonder about establishments where you're supposed to tip before you even received service. I'll always go back and give a cash tip when the service is good. But the brussel sprouts or not cooked enough really crunchy the mashed potatoes were great I had to ask for more gravy because it just didn't give me enough gravy on my turkey plate and they gave me one big hug of turkey not sliced so I needed a knife to carve it up. It just felt like I didn't get as good a service as everyone in my party or everyone else in the restaurant.”

“Stayed there for work. NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!!! The parking garage is a joke! You have to pay $7. THERE'S NO CONNECTION TO THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL. The room was nice and clean. I loved the shower! Not really sure about staying in downtown Topeka at night but it was okay. I did not feel completely safe but it was doable. The hotel employees weren't very helpful with our questions.”

“Hotel is fairly old. AC unit sounded like a V10 engine. Bathroom was VERY small. I’ve stayed at Drury Inn many times and have always been pleased. This place is not a disappointment but it is older and that should be known when booking. The main elevator was not working when we stayed. Location is great, though there is some road noise as would be anticipated in this busy area.”
