“Food drinks and vibes were all extraordinary 😍 would go back in a heartbeat. The food is super flavorful where each addition to a dish is intentional. The cocktails were also amazing. The 1987 cocktail awakened my soul, the corn infusion added savory sweetness to the drink elevating it. The service was exceptional. Our waitresses answered all of our questions and the waitstaff flits in and out removing plates and refreshing drinks without us noticing.”

“A bit disappointed at this place. It definitely seems like a mom and pop shop but the food and side dishes were lacking. It seemed very rushed too. We were the only ones dining. Weekday lunch - had bulgogi soondubu and pork rib soup. Both were bland. Side dishes seemed inconsistent with photos. Fish cake was chewy (most likely been in the fridge for a while). Wasn’t given an option for multigrain rice. I think there could be a lot of improvements made but not a bad spot if you’re in the area and really want a simple home cooked vibe Korean meal. Lots of parking available.”

“For mains, we ordered a chicken katsu, sweet potato hamburg, curry udon, and 2 cook your own gyukatsu plates. The portions are fairly large and enough to fill your stomach. The chicken katsu took a long time to come; everyone else was nearly done eating already. Of the 2 gyukatsu, one had no marbling while the other had some, and this is very disappointing for gyukatsu. The pieces are also cut a bit too thin, which makes them flimsy when grilling on the hot stone. We also ordered a plate of wings, which were over cooked and the pieces are very skinny. Their service was a mixed bag and their team feels very uncoordinated. As I said, one of our mains came very late and they also didn’t seem too knowledgeable about the drinks they served. But also, the owner came and gave us a free bottle of soju as newcomers and a slice of cheesecake for my birthday, so that is very kind. At the very least, they are working hard and trying their best.”

The beef was in clumps and stuck together, and when I would break it apart, the beef was uncooked in the middle of the clump. When I ordered a month ago, it still tasted good, but this last time, I woke up and puked up my entire dinner at 3am and then again at 4am. Then, I spent the rest of the day nursing the food poisoning. I know it was the food from this place because it was the only thing I ate in the last 32 hours. I was a long-time customer for many years and would order a few times a month but no more. This place lost a long time customer.”

“Fyi, they have changed to Chinese hot pot. Google Map hasn’t updated. I really didn’t like the experience here. We got the hotpot, which was $60!!!! That is pricey, not to mention we also had to order $10 extra veggies and $3 ramen because the hotpot only had meat. The hotpot came out quickly, but we waited 30 mins for the pot to boil!!! The staff said that the fire was weak and then they had to brought our hotpot to the kitchen to boil it, which took another 10 minutes. The hotpot is nothing special, and I feel like the ingredients, except for the meat, were frozen foods. And I would say the hotpot could only serve 2 people. A plus point was that the staff was really caring and was really sorry when we had to wait that long. But definitely not worth $73 and would not come here again.”

“I had one of the worst experiences in customer service at this location after finding a CATERPILLAR in our hot pot. I brought my friends from out of town here the day before my wedding to treat them out to a nice meal because I normally really enjoy this place. Our meal and service was going great until we found a CATERPILLAR in our soup pot. It likely came from the vegetables not being cleaned thoroughly. Our server (who was previously friendly) did not say a single word when he saw the caterpillar, he just grabbed the pot and took it to the back to switch with another one. After that another server came out and replaced the pot and continued to serve us. They acted as if no caterpillar was ever found! We were upset that they did not even apologize or explain themselves. At the end, we were hoping to get an apology or at the very least one of the servings comped for going through this but nothing! My wedding was the next day so I wanted to keep a happy mood and not think too much about it so we didn’t say anything. Looking back, we should’ve said something but hey that’s what google reviews is for to warn other people and to express myself. I probably won’t come back as there are other establishments that are more respectful and cleanly.”
