“Found this gem 💎 after visiting the Arlington Cemetery! Its a cash only food truck serving up amazing authentic tacos! After devouring a couple each! Me and my Wife bought 15 more tacos! so we could bring home this joy! Though I do recommend eating them right there on the street while there hot! Dont ruin these babies in the microwave! The staff was friendly and welcoming! We will be back! 5 ⭐️’s all day in every way!”

“Very tiny, mean tiny place, so it doesn't take a lot of people to fill up. They were very accommodating for us. When we went, they only had a 2 top, but made it a 3 top for us. Service was really good. They made sure we were taken care of. Pretty solid Mexican food. Nothing was overly amazing, but good. Thought with the name Soup in their name they would have a few more options than they had, but my wife and I both got a cup. The soup, I think, is more of the star of the joint. We were both pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were and hit the spot on a cold night. Would definitely come back and eat here again.”

“Highly recommend! The food, the Aesthetic, the employees, was all amazing! They clearly marked their menu for gluten free and vegetarian which was super helpful. We of course had to get the Gf calamari and it was coated perfectly! We were a large group and everyone had patience for us. Super good Thai restaurant with a lot of options for everyone to enjoy!! It was my dad’s first time trying Thai Curry and he said it was amazing and so happy he tried it.”

”I stopped in for a snack and a margarita. The bartender, Nick, was great! Quick with service and just a good guy overall. He recommended the Avocado Minichangas (very similar to, but better than, the southwest egg rolls at a major restaurant that will not be named)which were really yummy. The habanero mango chutney was very good for dipping (ordered extra) and wasn't hot at all for those with sensitive pallets. Was too full to order a meal after that so I had chips, salsa, queso and guac. Guacamole was not the best I have ever had, but it was good. Queso was a good flavor but a bit runny. For beverage, I had their spicy margarita that came with slices of fresh jalapeño. Ok....confession....I had two. I would recommend the spicy matlrgarita but for those that are a bit sensitive to heat, you might want to choose a different option. Atmosphere was great and festive for a chilly February day. Love the bar decor and vibe. Ofunny. Definitely recommend!”

”5/5. Was in the area, and decided to stop by hear for some tacos, and Taco Bamba is always a good choice. The Food: Went with my favorite taco, the Lengua Taco. The meat was quality and cooked perfectly. Paired with a nice double tortilla and some onions/cilantro. Can't get any better. The Service: Service was good. Ordering was fast, and orders went out within a timely manner as well. The Atmosphere: Small place, with little seating. But it is setup like almost any other Taco Bamba. Nice decor and huge menu on the wall for you to browse when waiting to order Overall, a 5/5 Solid taco place. getting kind of pricey, but the food is delicious as always.”

”I’ve heard really good things about this place for many years and have always wanted to go, but just never had the chance, until recently! I went around lunch time on a Tuesday and they weren’t very busy, so I was able to order pretty quickly. I only speak English, but I’ve a “brown skin” person, so Spanish people always want to speak Spanish to me first, but when I replied in English, that wasn’t a problem – I bring that up, because normally at authentic Mexican taquerías this normally is an issue. They make a large offer of proteins in any style of serving you want (Example: You can get Pollo in a taco, gordita, sopes, tortas, etc), so I got a pollo and an asada. They have a big bin of pico to scoop out once you get your food and that had the best, freshest flavor! Their green and red sauces were both very nicely done and both were spicy, with the red being very hot, but tasty. The pollo was excellent – Lots of great flavor, quite possibly one of the best pollo tacos I’ve had! The asada was dry and not flavored very well. The fresh lime I squeezed on top really helped to light it up, but it still needed more help, so I used lots of salsa. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. I can see why they’re rated so high, definitely worth the hype!”

”Came to Richmond, VA on vacation from Texas and came across this place Soul Taco. Me and my family where surprised how good these tacos where. Did not expect. Not your ordinary tacos they had their own spin on it. I really respect that. Coming from Houston Texas where Tacos are king. I would put these up against Texas tacos. I really enjoyed the food here definitely recommend this place to everyone. We had the Oxtail taco, jerk chicken taco, birria tacos, buttermilk batter fried chicken tacos, country fried carne asada tacos. All where great.”

”If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the second time my wife and I experienced very unprofessional behavior at this restaurant. I let my personal bad experience from last year slide, but this year the disrespect and unprofessional conduct extended to my wife and daughter. My wife had preordered tamales on Wednesday (12/20/23) as part of our Christmas dinner and was told our order would be ready at 1600 today 12/24/23. My wife went to the counter to pick our order up and was told they didn’t have our order and that the restaurant was now closed for the day. As my wife was trying to tell the staff that we had preordered that previous Wednesday, she was responded to in a very rude and snarky way that they had ran out of tamales and that the restaurant was in the process of closing. The employee then proceeded to sit on the counter and ignore my wife (and rolled her eyes) while another staff member echoed the same sentiment. This is disgraceful. People work hard and some sacrifice a lot to make this time of year a little extra special by wanting to put delicious food on the table. I refuse to support an establishment that doesn’t respect their customers and then has the nerve make them feel unwanted rather then at least bring a little light to a situation. Again, today was the last time myself or my family will step foot in this restaurant as I’m sure similar local businesses will welcome you with open arms.”
