“Stopped in after a tour of Jamestown Colony and it was just great. The food truck had an excellent selection and was super tasty. The beers everyone had were excellent. Some delicious IPAs, and a real good stout as well. Also being on the water just makes this place a perfect stop for a nice lunch and couple beers following a tour.”

“We were down in Williamsburg for a short trip and had a lot of people recommend Fat Canary. We weren't able to get a reservation but we tried to call right when they opened. The phone went straight to a busy dial tone. I called about 20 minutes later and someone indicated that they had a table around 7-7:30 downstairs as the main room was all booked up. We would have to come in to put down a name doe the reservation. Luckily we were close by and was able to place our name down for 7 pm. We arrived around 6:45 and kind of hung out in their wine shop until 7:15. They have two menus, their main and then the downstairs menu. My friend ordered a the Bee-Laverdier cocktail which she really enjoyed. For our appetizer, we ordered the Lobster and for our entrees, I ordered the Pan Seared Duck Breast and my friend ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon. The Lobster fettuccine dish was okay, the snap peas seemed a little out of place and so did the pistachios. It seemed like it was a really random put together dish and kind of more of a small pasta plate than an appetizer. While the duck and salmon were both cooked beautifully, I found my duck lacking in flavor and the cherry demi glaze seemed more of a jus at the bottom of my plate under the Farro. My friends salmon sat upon Fregula pasta but there was a lot of oil at the bottom of the dish. It also seemed a strange mix with the golden raisins and capers as well. I asked for a recommendation of a wine pairing with the duck and was suggested the Cabernet Sauvignon Quilt. I'm not sure if something had adjusted my palate beforehand but it seemed quite acidic. Overall, a little disappointed as we heard so many great reviews. Not sure if I'd come back to try any of their other items. A cute place with a great atmosphere and a cute wine market downstairs but the food was lacking in our opinion.”

My husband can’t have been and I feel that most breweries not have a seltzer or cider on tap but Cape Charles does not — only wine. I also did not care for the beers I got on my flight. The food was a bit overpriced but all-in-all it was very tasty. We sat outside and the weather was awesome!”

“I went to Coastal Grill to celebrate a special occasion. The salmon was delicious, definitely recommend. The lamb was good. The scallops were to die for, 10 out of 10 keeps you coming again. The side corn was delicious as well. On the other hand, the shrimp and grits were not up to par. The added fresh tomato and pitted olives were questionable. Was not a fan of the potatoes either. The ambiance and service are beyond exceptional.”

”They were nice to me. And their fries....ZzBOMB! My order was brisket Burrito and fries. Lord! Talk to them kindly if you want more meat or any adjustments. It was so good. It's not really wheelchair accessible with all the rocks. I thought i might add that but they do have outdoor seating which I thought was good for us plant and nature people on a nice day. My husband and his mom are from Louisiana and quite picky eaters because of it. I was so nervous about trying a new place but it was seasoned so well not too much but not too little... Man, they scarfed that food down so quickly. I say, just Try it!”

”Really enjoyed the wings here. I got 8 and it was the perfect amount. I wish I would have gotten waffle fries. Their blue cheese is pretty good as well but I wish they would give more. ”I stopped in for a snack and a margarita. The bartender, Nick, was great! Quick with service and just a good guy overall. He recommended the Avocado Minichangas (very similar to, but better than, the southwest egg rolls at a major restaurant that will not be named)which were really yummy. The habanero mango chutney was very good for dipping (ordered extra) and wasn't hot at all for those with sensitive pallets. Was too full to order a meal after that so I had chips, salsa, queso and guac. Guacamole was not the best I have ever had, but it was good. Queso was a good flavor but a bit runny. For beverage, I had their spicy margarita that came with slices of fresh jalapeño. Ok....confession....I had two. I would recommend the spicy matlrgarita but for those that are a bit sensitive to heat, you might want to choose a different option. Atmosphere was great and festive for a chilly February day. Love the bar decor and vibe. Ofunny. Definitely recommend!”

”Pros: Not crowded, and the AC was pumping. The Mac and cheese Southern egg roll appetizer was awesome! The portions are huge. The club wrap had a lot of bacon, and I could only eat half. Same for my partner. He enjoyed half of his fried green tomato sandwich. The tall beer mug height is about two hands tall. Cons: Only one person was waiting tables, and the cook was about to clock out but had to stay to fix our food instead because her backup hadn't arrived yet. Dirty dishes were on all the tables other than where we sat. Children ended up cleaning up the dirty dishes well after we'd been there.”

”Came on a weeknight - just after happy hour. Haven’t been there in years. Birthday party in the back, happy family drinking heavy on the porch and 3 others at the bar - Ordered some excellent crisp Spanish lagers as well as soup and some appetizers just to tide us over. Great service and interesting Portuguese Colonial theme befitting the Columbus name. Must be packed on the weekends.”

”Been going to this glory days for years. Used to be good but it’s gone downhill. Today I ordered a Swiss mushroom onion burger with no onions and I wanted it medium rare. The burger is raw and gross. The lettuce and mushrooms have a weird taste to them like they are old and dirty. I nearly vomited and could not eat this, I do not want to get sick.They also ignored my request and left the onions on. Not wasting my money here any more.”

”So I happened across Gina’s as they were closing. Greeted by the owner, Ms Peggy she advised that they had just put in the last dine in order but would be happy to accommodate a take out order to which I was appreciative. The order (Whiting, {Best whiting I’ve had in the Roanoke area} Mac and Cheese and Collard Greens. Dinner was freshly prepared not scrapings to put the plate together which was exceptional. The whiting was wrapped separately so as not to lose the awesome crispiness from the awesomely seasoned cornmeal batter. For Dessert I had Cheesecake and chocolate eclair which were delicious as well. I’ll definitely be back. ”If you want fresh food and not the half frozen pre-packaged stuff you get at the chain restaurants, this is the place to visit. It was my first experience with Brazilian food and I absolutely loved it. But it is not just about the food, everyone that works there was genuinely friendly and ready to answer all of my questions about the menu. Meat is cooked to order on the grill inside the restaurant and you can actually see it being prepared by the owner of the place. I do not know the names of the menu items I had but I know the appetizers I had came in threes in a basket with a choice of sauce. I liked them all, especially plantains and this one bite that he Gorgonzola in the middle of it. Salad was fresh in a homemade dressing, chicken was juicy and flavorful with a wonderful hint of open fire flame. I also had flan and churros which are all made there and taste delicious. I’m f you like coffee go for iced cinnamon coffee which will tickle your taste buds and be the perfect ending to your meal. Oh, and if you are legal to drink, don’t miss out on the cosmopolitan! Absolutely delightful with addition of Cointreau, maple syrup and slice of an orange. I would get it again and again. Been there twice and will be coming back again next time I am in Blacksburg.”

”The food was really good here, I got the limited time Steakhouse burgers and the turkey burger. I also got some sweet potato fries and an order of onion rings. I also got a refillable soda that allows you to try a lot of hand crafted sodas alongside an Oreo chocolate shake. Most of the soda flavors were good except for the orange it was not bad but not my favorite. The Oreo Chocolate milkshake was really good and I would recommend it. The burgers were made well and tasted great. The onion rings were good a little burnt on the bottom where it touched the fry cage, but that really was not a complaint. The fries were ok and fresh so I would get sweet potato fries over regular ones. This is one of the better burger places in Pentagon City and Crystal City so if you are looking for a good burger I would go here over others.”
