“Nick and Brittany, are outstanding real estate agents. We have had the pleasure of working closely with them and have been thoroughly impressed with their exceptional skills, professionalism, and dedication to their clients. We had a very unique house and property that required particular expertise in helping ensure that it got priced appropriately and in front of the right buyers in the market place. We also had time constraints that Nick, Brittany and Lane helped us deal with as we were simultaneously buying in another state. With their expertise and guidance, we ended up with back to back closings on the two properties and sold above our asking price. Nick and Brittany possess a deep understanding of the real estate market and are highly knowledgeable about current trends, pricing, and neighborhoods. Their expertise allows them to provide valuable insights and guidance to their clients, enabling them to make informed decisions throughout the buying or selling process. All team members were real service professionals and a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them to any friends or family looking to move to the DMV.”

“Lynn Martin was incredible. So was her team. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt 100% comfortable with our home purchase and that every detail was taken care of. All of our questions were answered and she made sure even with the challenges of our inspection that everything we needed repaired was repaired. I recommend Lynn 1000%”

The Witmer

710 12th St S, Arlington, VA 22202, United States

“I always come back to this neighborhood because of how safe it is and have lived in several buildings; the Witmer is for sure in my top two and somewhere I’d live again if I move back to the area. The building is clean and the staff is just exceptional, never had any issues with noise and by far some of the best neighbors I’ve had. Trash shoots are well managed, the cleaning staff is AMAZING. Also, appreciate that they pay close attention to the overall scent and that the building’s signature scent is throughout even in the gym. The monthly events calendar and community events is a great perk for those that are new to the DC area. The only con was the AI algorithm that buildings in the area now use that make people jump around because of how it inflates things. Annette is a gem though and I will definitely miss her!”

1200 S Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22204, United States

”The management and ownership are greedy and don’t care about residents or their vehicles. They recently decided to make half of the downstairs parking reserved and didn’t even bother to put proper signage to mark the spaces. All they have is unclear markings painted on the floor that you won’t see when you pull into the spot and are not visible at all if there is rain or debris. The towing company they contract is unprofessional so they will drag your car and cause damages then threaten you when you confront them. Included are pictures of reserved spaces where you can’t even see the markings on the ground as well as drag marks from improper towing methods. Also included is the clerk of A-1 towing threatening me with a rock once I voiced concerns about my vehicle damage. Predatory behavior targeting residents all to fill the pockets of the management and tow company at the expense of residents.”

”The office staff and maintenance staff are completely INCOMPETENT. I moved in June 2023 and my microwave was cracked, had no handle, and a screw sticking out. My A/C was also broken and it was 80-90 degrees outside and I am on the third floor. We immediately notified maintenance & leasing office. Somehow we managed to get the a/c fixed but it is now January 2024 and my microwave has not been touched. The front glass piece fell off and it is completely useless. I have put in numerous work orders, emails, and calls. I keep being told microwaves are on "back order" but I don't see how this is possible for so long. I have even gone into the office and offered to fix the issue myself if they are willing to reimburse me. Of course they said no and that if I want to break my lease it will be a 2500$ charge! In addition, since living here we have ended up having to fix numerous issues ourselves such as the toilet. Let's not mention the fact the maintenance people WILL close your work order to get rid of it even if they did not fulfill it! I went in today to get down to the bottom of the issue and was completely disrespected when the woman i was speaking with told me she was going to call to get an ETA of shipment and ended up calling someone in the room next door where I could see both of them on the phone with eachother!!!!! Why not just come speak to me? I will definitely not be renewing my lease!”

”I’ve lived at TGM Ridge with my family for a year and it is hands-down the best apartment I’ve rented in Northern VA. Management and maintenance teams are excellent, helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. We’ve had an especially positive experience with the property manager Faith and the leasing office staff. Any issues we bring up to management or maintenance are addressed fully and promptly. We’ve had no major problems with the apartment or the community and it has been a pleasant experience so far. We love the dog park, gym, plenty of parking, and proximity to shopping centers, parks, and highways 66 & 29. The apartment unit is spacious and recently renovated / modern. My favorite parts of living in a top floor apartment are the gorgeous view of the sunsets and grassy fields of the property, the privacy, and the quiet from being up away from the roads and traffic; it’s worth the hike up the stairs. It’s a clean and quiet community; it’s a great location; high quality and affordable for the area. Overall very happy with our experience here!”

I have moved around a lot, and this was the first time I decided on where to apply after just one tour. The property itself is beautiful and very well kept. ”We were initially excited to visit The Parker, as it came highly recommended by my best friend who is also a former resident there. However, our experience with Kenia Lazo was disheartening, to say the least. It was evident that she looked down on us when we mentioned our request for a WDU unit. We believe that all prospects, regardless of their financial situation, should be treated with respect and courtesy. She was dismissive, pretty much asked us to leave and come back with a filled-out form and give it at least 30 days, at that point we had not even seen the unit. She did not even smile at us or show a welcoming demeanor, we were literally wasting her time from her attitude. Furthermore, Kenia failed to inform us that all prospects needed to provide IDs during the leasing tour with the 2 confirmation emails we received prior to the tour, that lack of clear communication alone should have allowed her to make concessions on allowing my sister to tour without an ID, especially that me and my friend had our IDs. This lack of communication created an unnecessary inconvenience for us. I understand the need to adhere to company policy at all times, but I believe if we are going to hold people to a certain standard, we must hold ourselves to the same standard or even better. When we brought that to her attention, she said “Thank you for that feedback, I will bring it to upper management.” I understand the importance of clear communication and ensuring that potential tenants are informed of all necessary requirements. Kenia's dismissive attitude and the implication that management would support her disrespectful demeanor were unacceptable. When we told her we would get in touch with the manager, she was very stand off-ish, asking us if we wanted his number or email, more-so like even if we reach out to him, he will side with her attitude and dismissive demeanor. Even after my friend made it clear he had the manager's information, she still said, “I could give you his number and email again” Maybe as black people with accents asking for WDU units, we do not meet her ideal clientele requirement. In my own role, I make it a priority to foster a welcoming environment for all prospects, whether they are interested in a WDU or Conventional unit. everyone reserves the right to be treated like any other prospect. It is disheartening to encounter such a different approach at a property that came so highly recommended. I believe in treating all prospects fairly and equitably, as of today, right now, I am not confident that The Parker aims to do the same. I sincerely hope that this incident can be addressed promptly to maintain the positive reputation of The Parker. No potential tenant should feel belittled or dismissed during their search for a home.”

11727 Fairfax Woods Way, Fairfax, VA 22030, United States

”I lived here for three years. Above average complex but you pay for it with higher rent than the surrounding area. Centrally located to a lot of nice amenities in Fairfax but also far enough away from everything that you’re not in the middle of all the traffic. The grounds are kept nice, pest free, and clean. The gym is ok but rarely stocked with equipment wipes. Maintenance is really the most amazing part of the whole experience. The maintenance staff were wonderful the entire time and usually had problems fixed within 24 hours. Very little noise outside the highway construction nearby. Darya was always very responsive via email. Parking is overcrowded because of the lack of parking control. The complex issues two stickers and two guest passes, but the guest passes are for unlimited time, so our neighbor literally had four cars in his household at once that he all owned and that took up limited parking spaces for at least a year even after we notified the offices. The main offices are also on an odd schedule and will only reply in person or via email, never by phone. Mail is dropped off communally in the buildings or in small mailboxes, and there is a fair amount of theft in the buildings that cause constant missing packages and rampant theft during the holidays. Packages can be dropped off in the main office, but as mentioned previously, they keep odd hours, do not inform you about drop offs, and do not really know if items have been dropped off themselves. The biggest problems we had were during lease renewal and move-out. Be prepared for a 15% rent increase every year, as it happened to us every year we were there. They will give you a 15 day window to decide if you would like to renew your lease and you can forget your security deposit as you will either pay for their cleaning and shampoo service and apartment cleaning or you will be billed for it later as we found out after paying for a professional cleaning service and still being billed for both. Finally, don’t lose one of those aforementioned temporary passes as they will bill you $150 for a plastic hang tag.”

”Hi, we have only been in our home for about 1 mth. I'm beginning to enjoy my new home as I'm still in the process of unpacking! I would say our experience was both fun and challenging! Working with Chris and Pattie was easy. They tried their best to accommodate us when we had questions and concerns! And boy did we have questions every week! Lol Being a home owner for the 4th time makes you more aware of how things should be done! After being the general contractor for our previous home we were very concerned and always had questions. They tried their best to give an explanation or make it right! We love the layout and have gotten many compliments! Melissa at the design center was easy and fun to work with! She was very helpful and pleasant Wee appreciate all they have done. Now it's time for us to make it our home! Thanks Chris, Pattie and Melissa”

”My family and I love everything about living here. The staff, esp Haejung, are extremely helpful, professional, attentive, and friendly. We're proud to live with a community of residents that take pride in where they live - all the common spaces are clean as well as the apartments. Maintenance does a great job of keeping everything looking and operating brand new even in all the common areas. Unlike most garages in the city, our parking garage is spacious and convenient. We have a ton of amenities for the entire family, all very kid-friendly. Location is close to many nearby restaurants, grocery stores, health services, shopping, and so much more! Scout on the Circle is a great place to live!”

”I do not recommend this complex—especially if you are a young woman living alone. I moved in back in June 2023 thinking it would be a great location since it’s conveniently located right next to downtown, but location was not worth it. Some of the issues I had in the 6 months I lived there: -package room break ins constantly: there were two major package room breakins within the time I was there. Both times I walked in and the room was in complete disarray—with all my packages gone. I lost about $200 worth of stuff and all the front office told me was to file a police report and were not helpful at all. -latch door system very untrustworthy: you can only access the gates, building, and your unit through the Latch app, or the code they give you. I was at work and came home after being gone for 10 hours, and my unit Latch lock had completely malfunctioned and my door had been open all day to the public for anyone to enter. -guest/public parking: I was told upon move in that guests could park in the parking garage above the leasing office, but was not told about the guest pass you need to park there. My guest who parked in this designated spot was then towed since we didn’t have said pass—the towing fee was $400, and the leasing office refused to help cover the cost besides offer a $100 visa gift card. -parking lots not protected and cars being broken into. It is not well lit and can be scary to walk alone back into the complex. To sum this up, because of these issues, I had to do an early termination at 6 months instead of carrying out my 1 year lease. I highly do not recommend living here.”
