Luray Zoo - A Rescue Zoo
4.3
( 8 reviews )

1087 US-211, Luray, VA 22835, United States

“A wonderful book, that shouldn't be judged by it's cover... I was surprised by the amount of animals and varieties there. I went on a Sunday afternoon and was surprised to have the zoo pretty much to myself.... Go spend time with the animals, it was so much fun, and not overly commercialized or crowded. Lots of snakes in their exhibit, and monkeys, too!”

White House Of The Confederacy
4.4
( 16 reviews )

1201 E Clay St, Richmond, VA 23219, United States

“Very interesting home to a few people, one president and for a period, a public school. Our tour guide, Charlie, was exceptional and knew a great deal about Pres Davis and his family, etc. The only downside was parking, which is atrocious. Plan in 30 minutes prior to starting the tour just to find”

Dinosaur Kingdom Ii
4.6
( 16 reviews )

5781 S Lee Hwy, Natural Bridge, VA 24578, United States

”Cheesy as anything, but we had a wonderful time! We visited in the morning when they had modified it for halloween, so there were a few things that were more geared toward the night that were not operating, but we still got a kick out of the town and the dinosaur infested woods! It took maybe 1.5hr to see/do everything, well worth the stop on our road trip.”

Decades Arcade
4.9
( 8 reviews )

418 E Main St, Charlottesville, VA 22902, United States

”We hosted our son's 10th birthday party here this past weekend and it was AWESOME! The staff were incredibly accommodating and easy going. It's always chaotic getting party stuff sorted out but they were obviously used to it and made the whole process easy. Plus the cost was completely reasonable, kids parties can get crazy expensive now and I appreciated that Decades keeps it affordable. We already plan to go back for a date night and a family fun night in the near future!”

Keswick Vineyards
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1575 Keswick Winery Dr, Keswick, VA 22947, United States

”We had the absolute most amazing and beautiful wedding day at Keswick Vineyards. Every single step of our planning process was made easy, straightforward, and enjoyable by the team at Keswick, and especially Cindy and Grace. We toured Keswick on a blustery, windy, and snowy day in February 2022, and even then fell in love with what was in store. Flash forward to June 2023, and I don’t think we could have asked for more a beautiful day or wedding. Keswick is one of the backdrops and venues that you really don’t have to do much to to make it shine, and that was important to us. Our guests raved over it all, and we did and do too. 10/10 wedding venue choice if you’re getting married in Charlottesville!”

Chateau Morrisette Winery
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 07:00 PM

291 Winery Rd SW, Floyd, VA 24091, United States

”Bring your pup! One of the best wineries in Virginia. The sprawling grounds are expertly maintained. As you exit your car, you walk up to the winery through a charming courtyard where you can enjoy the view and your wine. The wine tastings are not rushed and you may even have the owner (she is so very kind and informative) facilitate your tasting. We left with a case of wine, I mean, why not? They love dogs, so much so, that they are on their label. We did not eat at the restaurant but did walk through. Its on our return list! We will be back. 10 stars.”

Box Office Brewery
4.6
( 10 reviews )
Open until 11:00 PM

177 E King St, Strasburg, VA 22657, United States

”This was our first trip, to check these guys out. We had the Nachos for an app, and they were fantastic. For 2 people I’d go with the small order. I had the Fish and chips and it was right on point. The better half had the bacon and arugula flat bread pizza and loved it. I had a pint of beer and it was good. I’m a Bud light guy so my opinion on beers shouldn’t count. Karen had the blue berry lemonade cider and it was really good. The service was fantastic and the place was very clean, to include the bathrooms. We will definitely be back to try some of those award winning wings that we heard so much about and have some more of that beer cheese.”

George Mason's Gunston Hall

10709 Gunston Rd, Lorton, VA 22079, United States

”After listening to William Hyland's audio book, "George Mason," I had to see Gunston Hall. It was beautiful, and it made the entire book come alive. I am a member of the DAR. This part of American history has always intrigued me. This audio book was one of the best ever and seeing Gunston Hall was worth the 500 round trip to see it.”

Peaks Of Otter Winery
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1218 Elmos Rd, Bedford, VA 24523, United States

”I love this place!! I was looking for a winery near Lynchburg to go to on the weekends as a retreat and I think I found it. You can get a flight of 8 samples and choose which wines you want to try. They have a lot of sweet wines, which I love. They have board games and books for you to enjoy along with your wine too! I personally recommend the cherry cheesecake, twisted tangerine and strawberry reserves.”

Scrap Rva

Open until 06:00 PM

119 W Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA 23222, United States

”Terrific store for low priced arts and crafts. They have an amazing selection of fabric, paper, rubber stamps, knitting/crochet needles/hooks, yarn, paint, art books, and so much more. Everything is organized by category and section. Parking is a challenge. I had to park two blocks down in a side street after the circling the block.”

Virginia Stage Company
4.7
( 9 reviews )

108 E Tazewell St, Norfolk, VA 23510, United States

”The Wells is always a cool spot to catch a show. I recommend parking at McCarthur south deck first floor for parking. The seats are old, so just know you are not enjoying a show from your comfy chair. That won't deter you from being properly entertained by a great staging of any production you choose!”

Blacksburg Community Center
4.5
( 6 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

725 Patrick Henry Dr, Blacksburg, VA 24060, United States

”Great facility and kind staff. No complaints about the treatment from the people working there or the fitness center rates. But please, for the life of us, up the hours! Only being open from 1-5 on Sunday is insanity. That and increasing the number of free weights in the fitness center would create a drastic improvement in the user experience.”

Beach Arcade
3.9
( 16 reviews )

1424 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451, United States

”They may have over 100 arcade games but over 50 of them are broken down completely or partially broken. At least the tokens are really cheap and the few that are working are pretty cool, new and rare machines like digital coin pushers and virtual bowling. A few classic multicades for fighting games and the classics. This place could be so much more if they could just keep these machines up, every time I'm at the beach I make sure to go out of my way to come here because of the cool selection but every time I come there are more machines broken.”
