“Overall, I loved the place. The Seafood Spinach Dip was delicious and it was the perfect size for 2 day daters. My wife enjoyed the French toast and it came with blueberrys and Walnuts. I ordered the shrimp and grits and that was delicious as well, however I will say that I wasn't a fan of the sausage. It didn't seem to have much flavor. The St. Germine Spritz was also very refreshing. We had a great time. Looking forward to visiting again during dinner and having a few drinks!”

“Lunch today at Firebirds with my mom and brother. Was moderately busy but no wait, seated immediately. Friendly and efficient staff. Ordered the ranch rings (onion rings) appetizer, delicious, light batter, crispy. Entrees included grilled veggies and black bean bowl and fried flounder sandwich with New England clam chowder. Veggie bowl had a nice combo of lightly grilled veggies and was flavorful. The fried flounder sandwich and clam chowder were delicious. Shared a crème brûlée cheesecake for desert, very delicious. Overall a nice experience, I will return again.”

I had never tried Wood and Iron before but my brother recommended it . I tell you , it DID NOT DISAPPOINT😋! The food came out nice and hot ( a plus!) I could taste the cheese and tender steak in the egg rolls and dipping it in the warm queso cheese really completed this entree . This was well seasoned as well as the mac n cheese . The tacos were delicious as well ! I really enjoyed my limeade ! My friend loved her wings . The owner heard it was my friend and I first time and came out and greeted/chatted with us . She was SUPER NICE as well as our waitress . Waitress service was perfect . Fast on refills 💖You just need to come here ! 😎”

”Cute little spot, food was amazing and FRESH. The seafood pasta was amazing scallops cooked perfectly, north side burger was phenomenal did not even need ketchup! Kids corn dogs were even freshly made which was a pleasant surprise as opposed to the usual frozen foods other restaurants serve to children. ”We discovered this place while on a trip to Massanutten VA and were excited to check it out. Parking was a tad difficult, especially depending on what time you go, so be sure to give yourselves time to walk from the parking lots to the building. We were seated and our orders were taken quickly. It was a relaxed atmosphere with a younger crowd. They have many interesting flavors of margaritas. We tried the coconut and the blueberry basil margaritas, both of which were wonderful. We each tried three different tacos to get a few unique flavors. Unfortunately, we weren't overly impressed with the tacos. They were small and overpriced for the amount that you get. The seasoning wasn't quite up to par. However, there is a lot of potential in the concept, and the combinations sound great together (I love trying unique flavors). Maybe the chef was feeling off the day we went, so I am giving 4 stars for the tasty margaritas and potential for great unique tacos.”
