“It was amazing. We called on a Sunday (Christmas Eve) to schedule and they answered right away. We got my family of 4 in and there was no one else in our group. Staff was great. Such a clean place. Horses were great and the ride was amazing!! We went out with our 2 young kids and we felt safe, the girls had fun. It was such a peaceful ride. Even though it was raining, it was worth it. I’m very happy we came here.”

“My daughter and I discovered this place on a bit of a whim. Our flight got canceled and we wanted to do something that wasn't too far from the airport, but far enough to get to experience the true beauty of Arizona. And we did! We had such a memorable time here. It was my 7 year olds' first official horseback ride, and she loved it. Her horse Rover was one of the most beautiful and well behaved horse I have ever seen. My horse Logger was equally well behaved. Lane our guide was SO knowledgeable about EVERYTHING from the horses to the terrain to the flora and fauna. The entire experience was just perfect from start to finish!”

“A gem in the middle of Golden Gate Park! We had no problem renting a paddle boat for the three of us and an hour rental was enough to get around the lake and have fun! It’s reasonably priced for the family. Parking is free if you can find a spot along the road. The boat house also has food options and a place to dine or eat lunch you bring. You can also sit along the lake in benches or on grass. Many things to see from birds, turtles, waterfall, pagoda, bridge, etc. it’s fun for any age! Even more fun when you are the parent and your kids do all the paddling! Try it out!”

“Absolutely loved this place! We have a habit of trying to search out sanctuaries, wildlife areas, nature parks, etc. Obviously you can’t pet these big guys. But it’s a wonderful educational park, they take in a lot of animals that otherwise would be put down (hand reared tigers, pet monkeys((there’s one with no teeth because the owner pulled them all out in the hopes it would stop biting 😢), other parks that shut down) and give them the best life possible. Bring your walking shoes! Lots of sand/pea gravel, also sunglasses and at the very least 1 hour of time.”

At the top the the Aries lodge and dining with a great outdoor terrace and view of the Mississippi River 🚤 There's also a zip line course available as well as an alpine slide coaster ride 🎢 either are fun for all ages. On weekends the lodge hosts live music and has a bar for wine and spirits 🥂🍻 Overall a great stop whenever in the Grafton Illinois area 🦅”

WONDERFUL! i could continue with the positive words but if you haven't already booked a guided tour after seeing all of the other 5 star reviews, what are you waiting for? i highly, highly suggest visiting this place for a tour. we booked ours the night before a small road trip / day trip to Oceanside from LA County and i expected this to be good but it completely surpassed all of our expectations. we were led by "bert" who said he hadn't been working there long but it seemed like he was a natural when talking about the process the oysters go through, the equipment and really anything else that popped up on the tour or a question someone asked him. we honestly couldn't stop talking about how cool the sustainable development is for the rest of the day, their mission and the great tasting samples of the oysters at the end of the tour. i do advise arriving a few minutes early to your tour as it is a small parking lot on site. we are planning on purchasing some product in the future and hopefully visiting again as well because we had such a great experience from beginning to end.”

“This was a fun stop on a family vacation. My kids (7 and 9) really enjoyed it. We were there during the winter, so gators were not active. They were still around, just not doing anything and not feeding. Lots of other animals to interact with and see. It wasn’t very busy, so the stop was pretty stress free and interesting. Staff were very helpful and informative. Some of the information posters and the cage glass were hard to see through as there was a lot of hard water build up. Bathrooms were a little run down.”

“The garden isn't very big but there are beautiful plants and a few animals to see. Good walk for smaller kids. My toddler had a good time. Gift shop is cute and reasonably priced. Staff is super friendly. We visited in December . Looks like the grounds could use a bit of maintenance but overall I recommend for a leisurely stroll with the fam. Only takes about an hour max to cover it all. Cost is $10 adults. $3 kids over 4. Younger are free. Parking is free but limited. The view from up there is beautiful also.”

“My husband and I love visiting zoos when we are on vacation, so we had to come to this one on our way home. There were some cool interactive things to help kids learn and some nice exhibits, but overall, the value for the price was disappointing. Many of the exhibits were closed or empty. The butterfly house was locked and inaccessible. A lot of the animals were not visible. We did get to see a bald eagle and porcupine pretty close up which was cool. The grounds were clean and well maintained and the animals seemed to be well cared for.”
