”I am very impressed with this animal hospital! This was my third time visiting. The first time was for a medical visit. The second time was for his annual exam. This time was for a grooming appointment. Each time everyone was so kind, helpful, and patient from scheduling the appointment to checking out after our visit. We never had to wait long. The fees were very reasonable. No one tried to force additional services on us. They actually try to make your life easier and save your time. My dog, Anderson, can be challenging as he is a rescue. He can take a while to warm up to people. Each person we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient. No one forced him. They made sure he was comfortable. Dr. Jordan really took his time to explain everything to me. I never felt rushed. This is an added bonus. A vet that is just as good with people as he is with animals. I wanted to get Anderson groomed. Like I said, he is challenging so I was concerned that grooming might not be an option. One of the groomers, Lynne, actually came to see Anderson during our annual exam visit! She said that it is possible to groom him. I scheduled a grooming appointment. I didn't have to wait long to get him in. I still can't believe the level of customer service at this place! The grooming appointment went very well from dropping him off to picking him up. Lynne is so nice, and I can tell she truly loves animals. Anderson looks great! I am truly grateful for everyone at this hospital.”

”I have been taking my dog here for vaccinations for several years but they lost my business today. I was a vet tech for 11 years and we never turned injured animals away that needed immediate attention. My dog split a toe nail so bad that he was non weight bearing in a lot of pain and bleeding. I advised the front desk girl of the issue and she told me she didn’t have anything till Wednesday. I said not even for an injury? She said no we can’t see him till Wednesday but there are other vet clinics down the road. The lobby was empty it was 3:30 and she didn’t even bother to get up to ask the vet if they could fit him. The clinic I worked for would have never done that. The Rowlett Animal Clinic had a lobby full of people and they still made time to sedate my dog and fix his injuries. Atlas and I will not be back to a clinic that does not care if your animal is in pain or not. Thank you to the Rowlett Animal Clinic for their compassion they obtained my business from now on.”

”My husband and I just rescued a basset hound from the streets. Wanted to get him updated on all his shots and make sure he was in good health. We went on a Friday at around 10 and weren’t seen for quite awhile. We unfortunately had bad news, our new baby was heartworm positive. The veterinarian was super nice and talked to us about the whole treatment process. Even wrote us up an estimate for cost and to my surprise was a lot cheaper than most places we had been too. We will be returning for treatment at the end of January and bringing my other hounds up here for their yearly shots. Thank you Decatur Vet clinic, even though it was a wait it was well worth it to talk to someone that actually cared about our pet and also didn’t want to charge us an arm and leg for our baby to get the care he deserves.”

”Where do I begin? Every single person at this place of business is incredible. My little French Bulldog (Biscuit) was hit by a car. We use Brodie Animal Hospital as our general vet and I called them immediately for help with what to do. They called VEG, sent her records over and the ER was able to start working on her as soon as we got there. The treatment for her injuries required amputation of her leg. There were multiple surgeons who quoted me 7-8K for this procedure and Dr. Werner not only agreed to perform the procedure but came in at a way more affordable price for me and my family. During surgery the staff kept me updated via text and Dr. Werner called me personally after he was finished to update me on the success. When I picked her up, she recieved a certificate of courage and I felt so prepared to be able to administer her medicine post operative. This veterinary clinic is one of the greatest in Austin and you’d be foolish not to include them in the care of your animal. They all care so deeply. We will be patients for life❤️❤️”

”I took half our pets here and now I wonder if that half will all die one by one. 6 months ago our, then, smallest cat wasn’t feeling himself and so we took him to here like we did his canine sisters. We were assured that after some meds he’d be good but I could tell that the doctor wasn’t confident in what he was telling me. Quickly he declined further and when we took him to a emergency vet we were told it could’ve been spotted by any seasoned vet but by then it was too late. He was dead by the end of the night. My daughter’s best friend was dead. He helped potty train her and the puppies and he was dead. Since his death I have been contacted multiple times to bring in my other pets. Fat chance! I haven’t taken any of them to a vet since because I just don’t trust anyone around here anymore, especially AAH. Their place looks very nice but that’s where all your money goes. Not to training, not to hiring the right people.”
