“The cottage itself was nice, clean, cutely decorated, even had a small Christmas tree. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels and supplies, they really think of everything. What was really special, was the welcome kit for the dog, it made me feel like they understand that the dog is part of the family and just as important! The hot tub was so relaxing and appreciated. The complex is beautiful, clean, quiet, very well decorated for Christmas. Just a nice way to connect with nature and enjoy the Christmas season and shopping. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!”

“Here's a quick breakdown of everything: -Breakfast was delicious and served daily. -Room was clean and comfortable. -The restroom was nice and taken care of. -Bed was super comfortable. -Staff was extremely professional with a warm demeanor. -Pool and Spa area were absolutely beautiful. -Outside area by pool was great for taking photos. -Was able to park comfortably each time I left and came back. -Gym was clean and had a good amount of equipment. Overall 5/5 experience and would definitely stay here again.”

”I stayed here 13 Nov - 17 Nov. The staff was nice and friendly, yet, didn't seem to communicate well with one another. I received two calls about needing my orders or I would be charged for breakfast; when they just needed a tax exemption for completed. Although the time posted for breakfast Mon - Fri states 0600 - 0900; on Friday's it's from 0700 - 1000. I found out coming down at 6:30 am. No sign. No notification. My room was fairly clean, but I found areas where the bathroom was not properly cleaned, supposedly vacuumed carpet had some residual dust/dirt left behind. Initial day using the gum, no wipes were available for the equipment. Also, one day when leaving, I saw a sign on a four (3 doors down from me) stating there was a pest treatment going on in that room. When I inquired about it, I was told it because the person who had the room had a pet. I don't know, but it made me very uncomfortable. *Sodas we're available for purchase on my initial day. Thereafter, all sodas were removed from the fridge with a chain and lock placed on the fridge. I'm not sure what was happening, it just wasn't a good stay for me. Maybe they are preparing for renovations and things were a little off track. At least I hope that was the issue.”

The complimentary breakfast was good and I liked that there was a little bit of everything, so you could really customize your meal to your liking. Right on water and next door to Texas tubes. Deer visit daily. Rooms have soap, shampoo, etc. Charcoal on the grill outside. Kitchen decently equipped. Small but nice porches. You can walk right down to the water and get in. Some tubes are there if you want to dip in front of the house.”

”Very nice rural setting at the end of the gravel road. Great place for a few days or a few years! Tidy, and a creek runs through it. Features are an enclosed dog park, laundromat, shower/bathrooms, covered pavilion. All kinds of wildlife are seen: armadillos, deer, wild pigs, rabbits, and all kinds of birds. Very well managed and maintained.”

Fishing from the balcony and a spacious, well furnished, clean one-bedroom exceeds our expectations. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and our activities director, Ms Bonnie, was very warm, friendly and helpful during our Monday morning welcome time. I would definitely return to this location again, if the opportunity presents itself.”

”This hotel is nice and the staff was friendly. The workout room was spacious and had a variety of equipment. In fact, everything was spacious. On Wednesday evening there is a small reception in the dining area. It was really nice and you can tell they put a lot of thought and effort into making it nice for guests. The facilities were a little dirty (stains on the sofa, carpets, walls, etc), but that can be hard to keep up with. Our room also had a terribly musty odor to it. This morning when we left, it smelled like raw sewage outside, so we weren’t sure what was going on with that. Hopefully those were one offs. Those are just small things; we’d definitely stay there again.”

”Update: We were moved to another room and the front desk was accommodating I love the decor of the hotel. The first desk staff was accommodating our first night. We had to change rooms a couple of times due to the tub being dirty and stains on the furniture and then the shower didn’t work well. There is construction and we weren’t made aware of how it would impact our stay. It sounds like they are going to come through the ceiling. We are staying here while renovations are being done on our home so that we had a quiet place to work and rest. Called the front desk and was told I could come work at the bar. Changing rooms to a lower floor wasn’t given as an option. Likely would not stay here again but the aesthetics are nice.”
