“Yes, i stayed at the Cedar Hollow cabin and it was wonderful. What i didnt know was the "river" was a cesspool, there was a pipe coming out of a retaining wall that was humming and whatever it was was going right into the river. Downstream it stunk and there was black sand and when i said something about it they acted like they didnt know about it. I have pictures and a video to prove it.”

We camped in a truck camper and it was tight. We camped in site 17. Could not take the camper off the truck and have room for the truck. But do not let this stop you from visiting this stunning NP. Thank you!”

“Had a great stay! Loved the pickleball court! They have a really nice pool and lazy river that are both heated, and don't forget to check out the hot tub! Their store is really nice, and you can even get your favorite frozen adult drink there! We had a paw pen site and loved it!! Very dog friendly place, we walked our fur babies around the park and got to meet several other fur babies owners. Would highly recommend this park!”

“A hidden gem on the Texas coast, not sure I want to advertise that. All spaces are concrete, 30/50 Amp service, water and sewer. Spaces are tight, close together. Park caters to the great bay fishing. They have bait, ice, and tackle in the shop with a Hugh aquarium. The park is gated and has a clean laundry. The jetty and piers have bright lights to attract the fish at night. Clean showers and bathrooms. Outside rows A and F are much preferred as they back up to the water. Fire rings at each site. Fish cleaning stations near each area. The staff is very helpful and friendly, Park rangers are on staff and helpful answering questions about fish and animals in the area.”

“Stayed here for two weeks in our fifth wheel trailer. We loved this place. The staff is so very friendly. It is just a short walk and you are on the beach. They have activities. My wife attended a water color paint class. She enjoyed it very much. They have a small workout area with a machine, free weight barbells, a stationary bike and treadmill. This place is clean and quiet. We can't recommend it enough.”

”We are currently staying here and absolutely love the place! Beautiful lake behind our RV, where I can come out and sit in the morning to drink my coffee. Also, the pool and jacuzzi are beautiful and clean! Bathrooms are always clean and smell fresh! I shower every night in them and love it! There's a big area where there is a computer room, gym, pool table, free popcorn, water and ice and coffee. We love playing pool and using the gym equipment. The staff is amazing! Very nice couple! They help with any questions or concerns. This place is very peaceful! Everyone respects your space! I recommend it!”

”My husband and I stayed here and fell in love with it. As soon as you pull up to the park it is inviting, it has fantastic charm and character, you can tell the owner of the park took tremendous pride in the development. The entire campground is well maintained, and has a ton of amenities. The sites are well laid out, clean, spacious, and easy to pull into. Even the dogs have nice areas to play and do their business. Making reservations was simple, we were able to get our first night with just a few hour's notice. The pricing is beyond fair for the service you receive. The owner and staff are very accommodating and the gift shop is adorable. We liked it so much we stayed 2 more nights. September 2023.”

”It’s a lodge so don’t expect a lot. But the room we got was renovated and we liked it. It’s a drive to get here from the ghost town or the national park and the last 3 miles are not paved. If your car can handle it then you should be fine. Also there is no cell service and WiFi is spotty, so good place to be disconnected. The cafe here is good.”

”I can not say enough good things about this RV resort. You can see the sunrises and the sunsets here. THEY are GORGEOUS. It's laid back, quiet and beautiful. We stayed in the Spoonville cottage and aptly names as it's SUPER super tiny, however what it lacks in space, the view, the cleanliness and even the SUPER sweet staff more than make up for it. They made sure we had everything we needed during our entire stay not just when we checked in. They were super accommodating. We honestly couldn't believe how much care was given into every detail. I normally re-clean each hotel room I stay at, and couldn't find one thing to re-clean, it was sparkling. The pool house, the area, even the beach around our area - they clean up! Then when we misunderstood about the restaurant ( another one is supposed to come soon!) The manager made sure we had all the info we needed to find a place nearby. (There is a food truck open Thurs-Sundays, otherwise it's a 15 min drive currently) We already are planning our next trip back and can't wait.”

”Very nice rural setting at the end of the gravel road. Great place for a few days or a few years! Tidy, and a creek runs through it. Features are an enclosed dog park, laundromat, shower/bathrooms, covered pavilion. All kinds of wildlife are seen: armadillos, deer, wild pigs, rabbits, and all kinds of birds. Very well managed and maintained.”

”It’s not very often that you stay in a hotel without any complaints and I don’t give out 5 stars often. Our stay at this hotel was one of the best experiences I’ve had In a while. Despite it being the holidays, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was great for the price and we had a very clean and comfortable room on the top floor. We even had to check out two days early and they were very accommodating. The only negatives we had were that the facade on the building was being updated and they started hammering around 9:30am and the pillows were a little lumpy. Everything else was great. Would stay there again anytime I’m in Fort Stockton.”

”This was our second time visiting, and we’ve fallen in love with this place! The private river access and staff hospitality are amazing perks. We love to sit on the back patio and watch the moon and stars while listening to the sounds of the river and nature. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The walk-in shower was really nice, having excellent water pressure, temperature, and shower head options. Don’t underestimate the luxury of getting a really nice shower after playing in the sun and river all day. Getting a free shuttle every morning to the launch point and tubing back to the property is so fun and convenient! Plenty of local restaurants to visit or order from. Already excited to book our trip back next year!”
