“For what we need, the location is perfect. 0.5 mile to the office, a shopping strip mall right behind the hotel, closer to the Star center and the highway. A few decent restaurants around it. It's fairly clean. Breakfast is basic but good. The restroom sink area is very small. I wish the water pressure is a bit stronger or the water flow is faster. The gym has 3 treadmills, one bike, and some weights with a bench, and a couple of mats. They do have a water cooler in the gym which is nice. Limited space, but you can get a workout in if you are not looking for every excuse not to do it. One thing that surprised me is that they don't have a complimentary comb upon request, but it is there for purchase for $3.99. This is definitely the first experience because I never remembered to pack a comb and all of the hotels I had stayed in regardless of the stars of the hotel all have complimentary comb except this one! Hence the 3 ⭐ review. I forgot to mention that the shower sliding door almost fell on me. It is a safety concern in my eyes. Also the gym doesn't have a sanitizer spray and paper towels for wiping equipments.”

“My sister and I ventured down to Round Rock due to its proximity to local hiking trails and we were not disappointed! This hotel is so close to everything! The biggest issues we had was picking where we wanted to eat and hike because the options nearby were so plentiful. Even better than that the staff at our hotel was always present, attentive and enjoyable to interact with. We showed up VERY early to check in and James got everything taken care of in advance to our room being ready that he could. Once the room was ready we received a text message to my phone letting us know which I thought was a neat touch. My sister and I inquired about local things to do and places to hike and were met with wonderful ideas and suggestions!”

“Stayed here for a few weeks for a work trip and was always greeted by friendly staff. Room was always cleaned and with fresh towels, bedding, and clean dishes. Hotel was quiet and not uncomfortably busy. Front desk always smiling and friendly especially the one guy at nights he was always friendly and talkative. Great stories and conversation but also helpful! Deserves a raise! Cleaning crew was very thorough and it's very much appreciated! Only complaint could of been limited options for microwavable breakfast but only near the end of the stay did that get old. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for the warm welcome”

”The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and the shuttle service was prompt. However, none of the ice machines were in working order (I had to go to the dining area to get a bucket of ice) and the water pressure was pretty disappointing. In addition, in contrast to every other Hyatt Place I have stayed at, there was a charge for parking. If you need a nice room 5 minutes from the airport, the place is fine. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options.”

”Lady at the front did NOT meet any standard for customer service. Asked to have room bill split. She made it seem like a major inconvenience. When I left a review of my stay I put 2 out of 10. She didn’t like that. Leaking attitude. She then proceeded to tell me and my mom that there were complaints about noise from our room. We had simply been talking and that’s it. No music. No loud TV. She just wanted to ruin our stay. Will NOT choose this hotel ever again.”

”Let's start with positives. Great location, 5 star night shift auditor, easy parking, nice indoor pool and good breakfast. Problems: Check in experience was not the best, though it didn't take long but when I asked help desk to extend my stay one more day she told me that I can do it myself online, I realized that I can't edit but I can only book new day and then I have to check again with front desk to assure that I don't need to change room the day after. AC works only if the outside temperature is below 90. No cold air between 3-9 pm. Only one elevator works and it needs attention, stopping at floors is scary and it's unbelievably slow. We spent two nights there and there was no room cleaning service in between. The shower gel container is empty and only 1 small hand wash soap bar was available. The next day we ordered extra towels but we didn't get any till we checked out. We tried the pool and there were not enough towels. The center piece rug is sticky. Flooring in the common area is uncleaned. Finally, the sofa bed was the worst among any we have tried before. Usually my kids fight on who sleeps in the sofabed, this time nobody wants it.”

”We had a really stellar stay here. It is a great location with a lot of good restaurants and some shopping very close by. The lobby is bright and clean with a good amount of seating, the coffee and tea bar was fully stocked, and the rooms were in excellent condition. I wasn't expecting a lot from a category 1 but it was truly a great stay and we will make this our go-to in NW Houston from now on. We only had one issue where we couldn't get the chromecast to work in one room, but it worked without issue in the other room. The rooms were well stocked and clean. Breakfast was pretty standard. Tancey was running the desk and hotel operations while we were there and she did an exceptional job of taking care of everything including all our questions and needs. Overall a very good experience that speaks highly of the Hyatt brand, the local staff, and this hotel.”

”Rooms and location were good. Nothing over the top but the rooms were nice for the price with the exception of a musty odor in the bedroom. We had a bad encounter with a manager here named Selene or Suleen who was rude to my boys and had a bad attitude in front of other paying customers when we asked questions about changing rooms due to the smell. Surprise- we look up her name and here comes all this news about her physically attacking somebody. Shocking a company like this would keep this person employed! This is a nice hotel but please do something about the staff.”

”We just checked in to the Hampton Inn in Lubbock this is one of the nicest Hamptons I've ever stayed at. Mona at the front desk was fantastic to work with. She offered Breakfast early even though we were on the red eye out of Lubbock going back to Austin. This is the best value for a very nice hotel. The rooms are large and very clean. Employees like Mona make the hotel stay process awesome. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn....👍👍👍”
