“A hole in the road about 2 hours south west outside of Fort Worth is what some call a dive or hole in the wall. This building with uneven floors, a moose with sunglasses, and a bar maid that calls out your drink (locals) before you get to the bar, table or pool table. She has fascinating stories about how each plate was created. Definitely ask about the BITCHWITCH... After feeling like part of the atmosphere and several jokes pass we order a Hamburger and try their new Philly CheeseSteak. The hamburger was plump, juicy, steaming off the meat, while tomato, lettuce and onion was crispycool. Oh yea pickles that were the size of sliced full grown cucumbers. The meat had drooling flavor of a well cooked steak. Then there was the Bun: soft, smooth like biting into air and then the burger its self fills your mouth and one bite leads to the next. You never want it to end. Don't think the CheeseSteak was any less. The meat had a great steak flavor with just the right amount of saute onions, mushrooms and cheese. This was a stop to fill us for dinner, but became so much more by our choice and it was worth every minute. Thank you, #DTNLivingLife #DTNTransporter”

Parking area is barely adequate so be aware. We enjoyed some cocktails and several different dishes of food. I had the Hot Chick sandwich plate, others enjoy the beef nachos and the fried pickles. My Hot Chick chicken sandwich was very generous and spicy with lots of fries on the side. One of my party enjoyed the Fuzzy Bunny drink so much she had three! You order food and drink at the bar. While we did not use the outdoor aspect of the venue, I assume they provide some sort of table service out there? Portions are generous and prices are typical of current venues. Overall, a charming addition to options for a adult experience in the Austin area.”

My husband and I bought VIP tickets to a concert that wound up having little to no turnout, so we reached out to some friends to come and join us. After driving an hour to get here, and being willing to pay full price for a ticket, they were turned away because "their system couldn't take their money," I tried to speak to the manager and he spoke to me like I was worth less than the gum on the bottom of his shoe. First and last time I will ever spend money at this establishment.”

”Great atmosphere very retro so if you are into that, this will be a luxury for you. I got 2 ciders (since I'm not a fan of bear) they were DELICOUS. I will post a picture of the exact ones I got. They ran me about 5 bucks each which made it very affordable for leisure drinking. Would recommend this spot for sure if you are chilling and want to catch a vibe. P.s. ”We went to check out this place, because we wanted to go to the speakeasy in back. Upon first entry, a man greeted us and asked us about our visit and then pointed out the amenities and told us how to get to the speakeasy. At first, it was a little awkward being greeted that suddenly, but it was kind of cool too. We went straight to the back and didn’t really investigate the front bar or the patio area because it was 300° outside. We went to the speakeasy where it was pretty crowded but plenty of seating available. The bartender got to us within a relatively quick amount of time given that he was the only bartender. He mixed a good Old-fashioned as well. The only thing that I would say is I wish the lights were a little more dim in the speakeasy. And there was a little more music playing. It didn’t quite fit the speakeasy vibe that we thought we were going to get. With that said, I had a good experience overall, and I would definitely recommend stopping there and checking it out.
