“It is awesome to have a facility like BOLT local in Houston, TX. I am a former college football player and long-time cross-fitter. I have always wanted to build my own home gym, but the online distributors like Rogue, Titan, Rep, etc... cost so much and shipping is such a pain, especially if parts don't fit. BOLT has much better pricing and the ability to pick everything up locally is amazing. The build quality is outstanding. I punish my RIG (Storm Krypton) day in and out and it has never budged from the floor with the added stabilizers even without being screw mounted. BOLT has all of the accessories of all the big online shops and they are constantly creating new storage solutions and awesome components to add to my workout routine. The facility is also so cool to visit. I typically take my 5 and 7-year olds with me and they love it. The graphics are so cool all over the walls and the sheer size of the place makes it a candy store for gym enthusiasts. So, instead of spending your life savings on trumped up Rogue equipment and paying ridiculous shipping costs, head on over to the BOLT facility and see for yourself. The bus ride to the location was fun with some good music to bump to on the way. This place is fantastic and welcomes all types of players from beginners to more advanced seasoned players. The local player community here also really embraces the beginners and gives tips and tricks to anyone that asks without judgment. The atmosphere is super fun with fantastic music and staff that loves to engage the customers and ensure they are having a great time. When you visit please keep in mind the Store is not owned or operated by the owner of High Ground. So if you got an issue with the staff at the store please don't reflect your review on High Ground Airsoft!”

Unfortunately, the beach at the park was closed for a couple of the days we were there but we were able to take the 5 minute drive to Knights Point Beach and got in free because we had paid for the camp site for the week and that allows you to get into any state park for free. We had fires and enjoyed a calm week camping. Highly recommend, we made memories we can cherish forever. 💟”

I have to admit, though, when you get down on that front row down and dirty where you can feel the vibration, hear the thunder of the engines, and then smell the exhaust, as the cars scream by on that dirt track, nothing like that. ”What an incredible gym! We’re here visiting family and I brought my 5 kids and my niece and nephew (ages 7-14 with varying levels of experience/skill). They all had a blast and really liked how many kids there were to roll with. As a parent, here’s what I noticed: 1) the mat is huge and even though there were lots of other kids, everyone had room. 2) there were 5 assistant instructors in addition to the main instructor (Coach Austin). That really helps the kids stay safe and affords individual attention when the class breaks into pairs to cover new technique. 3) the instructors paid attention to the clock and maintained a good pace. Personally, I love a structured class because it helps get more out of the time allotted. 4) the techniques covered were age and skill level appropriate. In the older kids class they even broke it down into upper level belts and lower level belts. That kept the advanced students from being bored and the beginning students from getting left behind. Seriously, it was a really well thought out class. You won’t regret coming to this gym.”

They also have good spacious ballroom which can be perfectly suitable for every event, which is located at lobby level. Top notch facility and great coaching. I dropped in today while taking the family on vacation and had a great time and workout. Everyone was so nice. It’s super easy to find and welcoming. ”Attended a birthday party here. This place is setup very nice. They have all the obstacles like you see on the ninja warrior competition and if you are in shape enough you can get a good workout in. It is a great place for a kids party they have plenty of things to do to keep them busy. There is a coffee/food area the pizza and hot dogs are pretty good. Did not try the coffee but I was told it is good too by a friend.”
