“Authentic, charming, and great location! In a world of hotel chains commodities, this place stands out and creates a unique experience. Great lobby area, friendly service and really cool rooms and suites. Old west feeling but very comfortable. The rooms were really clean and they did a great job freshening them up each day. We also had a really good meal at the H3 steakhouse right next door. Such a great location as they are so many places to see and visit within a 5 minute walk. The only downside was the hotel does not have a gym. But plenty of places to run and walk around nearby. Wonderful place and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We will be back!”

“The only bad thing that I can say is the TV in my room kept going off every 2 hours. Every single staff member was extremely friendly from the housekeeping staff to the manager. I didn't get her name, but the young lady that works breakfast with really long hair is a super star, not a single time do you not see her working. Always making sure the guests are taken care of, food is hot, fresh, and stocked up.”

Clean, Wonderful Hospitality and the dolphins in the am were just a top on the cake! Make sure you stay on the bayside.Slept with my balcony door opened and enjoyed the view in the evening n in the morning .The bartender is so sweet and takes care of you😁 and he knows football GO LONGHORNS !!!!! “I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was incredibly convenient, and the breakfast was hands down the best - warm, generous portions, a wide variety of drinks, and a clean dining area. The staff was nice, though the rooms were just okay. The sheets seemed well-used but were clean. Kudos for providing ample bathroom toiletries; it’s a rare find. Despite the broken elevator on the 4th floor, I’d return, mainly because the breakfast was exceptional.”

We had a bad encounter with a manager here named Selene or Suleen who was rude to my boys and had a bad attitude in front of other paying customers when we asked questions about changing rooms due to the smell. Surprise- we look up her name and here comes all this news about her physically attacking somebody. Shocking a company like this would keep this person employed! This is a nice hotel but please do something about the staff.”

”We just checked in to the Hampton Inn in Lubbock this is one of the nicest Hamptons I've ever stayed at. Mona at the front desk was fantastic to work with. She offered Breakfast early even though we were on the red eye out of Lubbock going back to Austin. This is the best value for a very nice hotel. The rooms are large and very clean. Employees like Mona make the hotel stay process awesome. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn....👍👍👍”

Negatives: Rooms extremely dark at night, due to lack of lighting. One truly struggles to find a spot in the room that is light enough to read a book. See photos. Even in the bathroom, the mirror light dimly shines the brand colors, instead of JUST PROVIDING LIGHT. To compensate, though, the blackout curtains are not effective enough to keep the room dark in the morning. Breakfast ends at 9, so if you're on any kind of vacation-like sleep schedule, the hotel has no breakfast as far as you're concerned. Response seems AI generated.”

”If you are thinking about staying here, think twice!!! Thought we were staying in a nice, safe place. WRONG! Someone tried to steal our Corvette-parked under the lights. Broke out the window, damaged the trim. $2000+. Police told us it was not a good area, and that they have had a lot of trouble with vandalism and theft. We wont be staying here anymore. Irony is, they have an underground parking area-The staff new I had parked outside when I checked in - never told me about it. Security guard and police were helpful - too little too late. Asked the staff if they would be gracious enough to comp the room for the trouble. They gave me the old "Legally.....No". We came with 2 others who had their own rooms- not like the hotel was going to lose a lot of $$$.”

This location is between the 400 dollar luxury hotels in uptown and the residential hotels as in they couldn't keep a lease hotels as you go north. I don't know what people are expecting from a hundred dollar hotel. I feel like we live in a society where people think they are fancier than they are. It's just a hundred dollar hotel. They actually fancy people are at the masion on Turtle Creek and you went to the choice hotels app. Which are good hotels that yes only give you what you need. They actually don't give you anything you pay for it in the cost of the room. If they give you more stuff they raise the price. So yes it has exactly what you need. No more than. This ain't Vegas it ain't the trump hotel. i mean it's a chain hotel. The comments i read on here seem like things that should be common sense anyway. Comments like it's fine if your just to go to the convention center. Everytime i read hotel comments I'm floored by how many people thinks it just wasn't quite good enough for them. Well there's always the anatole and the mansion on turtle Creek.”

”Great location and very friendly staff. Hotel looks great, but my room was less than desirable. I had to fix the toilet, and the floor in the bathroom was dirty. After a long drive, I didn't have the energy to be asked to be moved. The refrigerator made a loud hum all night, and I woke up to contractors hammering away at some remodeling. I will give them another shot next time in town. I'm hoping it was a fluke.”

”I was in town for a conference but wanted to be close to the highway and places to eat. I was happy to find the Fairfield Inn & Suites by The Domain. I reserved a king bed suite, which was quite spacious. The separate living area is great to sit and chill or eat a meal. The desk has more than enough outlets, which means it was designed with today's person in mind. I didn't find any USB outlets, so that can be an issue for some. The bed isn't the most luxurious, but it's decent. I slept well and I had a room facing the highway. I'm not a light sleeper, but I didn't even hear the highway or the train nearby. Overall, this is a great value. The front desk team is polite and very cordial. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good too minus the turkey sausage.”
