“Fantastic gelato! I got Pistachio and Nutella, both had good distinct flavour without being too sweet or overpowering. Very friendly staff, offering taste tests and happily giving advice when choosing flavour combos. Limited amount of flavours options but staff mentioned that one flavour had come in that week so I assume they rotate or change frequently. Small location, not much room and no available seating but would definitely recommend popping in for a sweet treat.”

“I wasn't sure what to make of this place with the very low key entrance. But it surpassed my expectations. All for of us got the classic tasting menu. We got a few more than the six dishes because of substitutions. My son is gluten intolerant. The dishes came at a good pace and though they initially looked on the small side, it was plentiful overall. Really nice ambiance too. I'd go back when I want to impress someone .”

“Delicious, vegan food with lots of flavour using fresh ingredients! The service was great & the food was hearty, flavourful & hit the spot. Vegan comfort food that doesn’t rely on processed vegan foods. The pesto cashew melt sandwich was amazing dipped in their roasted red pepper soup. The Mac and cheese was SOO creamy and comforting. 10/10 would recommend! The patio is also dog friendly.”

The proteins in their dishes are delicious - I had the Octopus and Chorizo Tostada, and the Camarones a la Diabla, and in both cases, they were spiced and sauced to perfection. The tostada shell, however, had been deep fried for far too long - overcooked and very oily. This was a similar case with the Potato Flautas I ordered as an addition. 3 stars. Enjoyed the meat, did not enjoy what accompanied it.”

“First time going here and only the second time I’ve had Afghan food so I’m far from being an expert. Everything we had was delicious! We had the vaziri kebab and a couple of soltani kebab plates. Very flavourful with the seasonings and their spicy tomato sauce went so well with the kebabs. I loved their green tea as well. I think there were some spices in it as well. I detected some cardamom. Lovely experience! Highly recommended.”

“Absolute gem! Great authentic Mexican food. Found this restruant on our way back to Hamilton from the cottage, reviews looked good so we stopped in. The reviews were spot on, everything from the food, drinks to the service were excellent! “Best store that’s ever come to Chatham Kent. Hands down. Given the cost of groceries right now this is the only place you can go for affordable meat, baked goods & so much more. I’ve been able to buy crab legs all summer for about 15-20 per package. Which I’ve never seen in my life. We go here weekly from Wallaceburg for a “meat run” & it’s well worth it. Their birthday cakes are also such a great buy for $14.99. They are such amazing quality & always a huge hit with everyone. All the staff is always SO great too. Can’t say enough great things about this place.”

“I visited later around closing time and despite this the lady at the register was very friendly and accommodating. Their butter croissants tend to lean on the sweeter side but still very flaky and have a great butter flavour (see cross section photo). I would argue one of the best croissants in Thornhill. Everything else I tasted showed that there was a lot of care and attention put into the making of these. The box it came in is beautiful as well, whether you are coming in to purchase as a gift or for yourself I would recommend Lumiere.”

From the time we entered I could see that the staff was on top of their game and efficient and quick. We ordered three different dosas . The best part definitely were those four chutneys. IMHO have never eaten better tasting chutneys before chef! Pls maintain the quality! Dosas I would say were average esp since one came cold as if it had been made before (rava dosa). The quantity of the sambhar was measly and not hot as it should be. The madras coffee was ok. Service was so quick. Will def try other items on the menu . Lots of parking available and it’s quiet a big place so lots of seating available. They also sell savoury snacks and some sweets at a counter I just got a reply to my review that Sambhar and chutneys can be refilled at no extra charge but I do wish this is mentioned to you or written on the menu so the customer knows.”

We have been ordering it for over two years now and I can’t say enough about how great this place is and how good and colourful, and tasty the food is. It is AMAZING! We made all our friends give it a try and they loved it. The service is wonderful , the staff are so sweet and welcoming. They never missed a thing in the order , the instructions are always followed and the meat and chicken are cooked to perfection( the chicken is my favourite). Their salad is great too.
