“Way overpriced. Need a family rate for daytime users. It is ridiculous that we spent $160 for the adults to watch three kids play in the water. ||We've been twice and it is enjoyable albeit the water is cold. We did like getting away since …”

“My family and I had a family reunion here with 30+ people this past weekend. We all had a great time and the variety of options for activities kept us entertained all weekend. The well-maintained grounds and cabins with interlocking stones, swing bench, delivery for firewood were pleasant surprises. The staff are friendly and honest. They returned my cell phone and $20 my nephew lost 🙏. Highly recommended.”

1000 Islands / Ivy Lea Koa Holiday

514 Thousand Islands Pkwy, Lansdowne, ON K0E 1L0, Canada

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Lea KOA! This was our first time visiting a KOA so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The staff at the front office was very welcoming. We stayed in the 4-person cabin with the full bathroom. It was the perfect size for our little family. It seemed pretty clean at first glance but I would suggest a bit more attention to detail go in to cleaning between guests. We found quite a few mouse droppings in the cabin, though we appreciate that the cabin was equipped with pest repellent plug-ins. The staff was prompt in addressing an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing when we first arrived. After that, we found that the shower was also not draining. Those are probably a couple of things that could have been addressed when the unit was being cleaned before our arrival. The grounds were pretty well maintained, but some work could go into revitalizing the flower beds and areas around the pool and parks since there were a lot of overgrown weeds in those areas. Our toddler enjoyed the park and the pool. We would definitely return for another trip!”

Cardinal / Ottawa South Koa Holiday

609 Pittston Rd RR # 1, Cardinal, ON K0E 1E0, Canada

“We’ve stayed at the Cardinal KOA for many years. Our boys loved coming here over the summer months and we were regulars. We still enjoy the park but it’s slowly going down hill since Karen and Dan sold the property. There is definitely a difference in a negative way. Maintenance is a problem, RV pads are grassy, in need of levelling and crushed stone, men’s bathroom smells like urine, one of the showers wasn’t working, they had a tent site with a levelled sandy pad that is no longer levelled and full of weeds. Wifi was never great at this park but it did work, now it doesn’t work at all. Noticed the park was half occupied, no lineups for the chip and pizza truck. This is odd for a mid August weekend as it’s always been a really busy time for this park. One thing to note, prices have gone up to 105 a night (taxes in) for a non sewer site. In my opinion, that’s steep in comparison to other equivalent parks. Staff is NOT accommodating for a simple request such as an emergency pump out during serviceable, reasonable times. Considering this is a family park, these things due happen. After 8 years, this will be our last stay at the Cardinal KOA.”

Glengarry Campground

20800 S Service Rd, Lancaster, ON K0C 1N0, Canada

“Really loved this campground. Nice lake views. Very manicured and forested. Lots of room to roam. Plenty of photo ops. Black squirrels everywhere and an abundance of geese. Nice shower facilities. Relatively level pullthru campsites. Woke up to an amazing sunrise.”

Leisure Lake | A Parkbridge Cottage & Rv Resort
4.2
( 8 reviews )

510 County Rd 31, Ruthven, ON N0P 2G0, Canada

“My parents have camped there for 34 years. The place was great when privately-owned. Now it's all about the money. No more tenting area. No more adult dances. Security had the audacity to tell people to put fires out and go into their trailers, when all they were doing was sitting there having a drink and watching the fire. Sarah is coming up with more ridiculous rules every summer. Parkbridge not actually looking into the complaints, just redirecting them back to Sarah even when the complaints are about her. After 34 years, my parents are thinking about selling. I'm surprised they have stayed as long as they have. P.S. the dog run area is a joke unless you have a small breed dog. I could keep going but I don't think there's enough room.”

Cobourg East Campground

253 Benlock Rd, Grafton, ON K0K 2G0, Canada

“Cobourg East Campground is located in a beautiful setting. Campsites are roomy and the the owner seems to work hard to keep the park beautiful. I don’t usually participate in online reviews but after reading many of the poor reviews left by other campers I thought I would. I think many of the negative reviews come from campers who haven’t read or fully understand campground rules. And some campers seem to have chosen to ignore them all together. Be responsible for your own actions and stop looking for someone to blame. On my first day I was approached by a young man who thought I was going faster than the 10 km/hr park speed limit. I’m positive I wasn’t and I pleasantly discussed the incident with Linda in front office. We didn’t let this incident ruin our stay. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in August 2023. If we had the need to stay in Cobourg East Campground again I will, if they’ll have us. PS. We heard many trains and their horns, in the distance. Didn’t mind it a bit, and the ground never shook.”
