The cashier said they were always 34.95 until we showed her the flyer, then she complained the store never tells the cashiers what's on sale. She then charged us 5.99 each for two frozen raviolis (×2) that were advertised on the freezer window for 3.99. So we were overcharged $9.00. In the end. Great stuff, the pizza slices were an excellent deal. But I caution you to keep an eye on what you are charged for sale items! Jeff”

“I go to food basics quiet a while really good products and prices but the real problem is the costumer services, every time I go to a cashier I usually go on and say “ hi”, “ how are you?” Etc. and you know what they do? Nothing they ignore my acknowledgment and just scan my items. Yes I do want them to scan my stuff but not like robot style have some light in it, talk to your costumers, maybe make a friend or two. Plus I asked for a bag and they act like they don’t hear me. Please food basics if you could make your employees acknowledge the costumers more”

It was not worth the money. As it would have been slimy and inedible. Please staff pay attention to these things. Another issue that would be nice to address is the area where you sell your reduced items. It would sell more If you had the price written on the items. After chatting with lots of your customers, They all mentioned this to me. Hope this gives you some insights as to why your items are not being sold at a 50 percent of mark. It’s definitely a plus you sell clothes, ice and even have a coin machine and flower shop. I must commend you on keeping the store clean and having a friendly face at the cash outs. A must visit for sure.”
