“Have been a repeat customer for about 7 years now. The new owners have completely turned the place around. Most rooms are updated. Prices are extremely fair. Location is perfect for the ATV trails. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. Have never stayed at a better motel/campground. Can not recommend this place enough.”

“Way overpriced. Need a family rate for daytime users. It is ridiculous that we spent $160 for the adults to watch three kids play in the water. ||We've been twice and it is enjoyable albeit the water is cold. We did like getting away since …”

Lake Of Two Rivers Campground Office

“Great spot for car camping. Depending on the campsite you have some privacy but for the most part you'll be able to see and hear your neighbors. However, this campground is great to use as a base camp for doing other day hikes and activities throughout Algonquin”

3138 Penetanguishene Rd, Springwater, ON L9X 1Z7, Canada

“My family and I had a family reunion here with 30+ people this past weekend. We all had a great time and the variety of options for activities kept us entertained all weekend. The well-maintained grounds and cabins with interlocking stones, swing bench, delivery for firewood were pleasant surprises. The staff are friendly and honest. They returned my cell phone and $20 my nephew lost 🙏. Highly recommended.”

Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park
4.8
( 16 reviews )

20237 Kennedy Rd, Sharon, ON L0G 1V0, Canada

“First point I would like to make: The cabins are very small and cramped, even for one person staying there. They have a nice little patio outside where you can set up a table and eat meals, but you have to use the sink and bathroom area outside, as the cabins don't have those either. Apart from the cabins, the place is beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil. The people are friendly and helpful, (though often too busy to socialize with properly) there are always games on the lawn, and the lake is lovely to swim in (I came in early June 2023). The Bare Bistro has great food, even with me being vegan, and the clubhouse has a nice art-gallery feel with all its nudist pictures inside. I would like to come back to Bare Oaks, but on a weekend where there is something happening, maybe Body Fest, so that there is more to do and more opportunities to socialize.”

“This is an amazing campground!! Absolutely beautiful campground. Spacious campsites. Beautifully maintained grounds with mature trees, flowers, grass Excellent dog park and dog beach! Really nice marina, human beach, playground ... Bathrooms are excellent!! Private room with shower, it's really nice and clean! The staff, especially Gina, are amazing. Gina went above and beyond to help us get a super peaceful and beautiful campsite, we had a very restful and relaxing time; thank you so very much!”

Mclaren Campground

15020 Long Sault Pkwy, Ingleside, ON K0C 1M0, Canada

“Should you be a fan of awe-inspiring sunsets, selecting a location on the western side will definitely be a decision you won't regret - the views are simply stunning! The campground is serenely quiet, allowing you to connect with nature sans the distractions of parties or music. The staff consistently maintain a cheerful and amiable demeanor, always on hand to help when needed. The shower facilities are pristine and user-friendly, complete with hot water to provide that invigorating experience. Furthermore, there are several spots across the campground where drinkable tap water is readily available, allowing you to refill at your leisure without incurring extra charges. My family and I spent some time here and loved every moment, prompting us to return the following year for an additional week of enjoyment. All the campsites we occupied were beyond satisfactory. Cleanliness was a consistent theme across the washrooms and there was never a shortage of hot water in the showers. The staff, ever friendly and readily available to assist, along with the complementary internet service, added extra delight to our stay. We are eagerly anticipating our next trip back for another week filled with joy. We sincerely thank the campground for creating such a memorable vacation for us.”

1000 Islands / Kingston Koa Holiday
4.4
( 8 reviews )

2039 Cordukes Rd, Kingston, ON K7L 4V4, Canada

“Had an absolutely great stay! Our family of 5 stayed in one of the cabins and loved the grounds! We were there during a heatwave and pretty much lived at the pool, but also VERY much appreciated the air conditioning in the cabin. Our area in front of the cabin was SO cute, well shaded and great for having a fire and visiting. The kids loved the extra activities like the mining and the available bikes. We also loved how quiet it was but still so close to stores and restaurants in Kingston. ♥️”

“We got married in Norland in September and needed a place for all of our guests from out of town to stay. Darren and his team hosted close to 60 of our friends and family. The property provided a great backdrop for some beautiful wedding photos, as well as an opportunity for family from all across the country to come together and celebrate our special day. A very very special thank you to Chef Peter Ilias. 3 weeks before our wedding our original caterer bailed on us. Peter stepped in on short notice and saved the day with some mouth watering prime rib. Thank you so much to everyone at Miners Bay Lodge for memories that will last a lifetime!”

1000 Islands / Ivy Lea Koa Holiday
4.2
( 8 reviews )

514 Thousand Islands Pkwy, Lansdowne, ON K0E 1L0, Canada

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Ivy Lea KOA! This was our first time visiting a KOA so we weren't quite sure what to expect. The staff at the front office was very welcoming. We stayed in the 4-person cabin with the full bathroom. It was the perfect size for our little family. It seemed pretty clean at first glance but I would suggest a bit more attention to detail go in to cleaning between guests. We found quite a few mouse droppings in the cabin, though we appreciate that the cabin was equipped with pest repellent plug-ins. The staff was prompt in addressing an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing when we first arrived. After that, we found that the shower was also not draining. Those are probably a couple of things that could have been addressed when the unit was being cleaned before our arrival. The grounds were pretty well maintained, but some work could go into revitalizing the flower beds and areas around the pool and parks since there were a lot of overgrown weeds in those areas. Our toddler enjoyed the park and the pool. We would definitely return for another trip!”

Renfrew / Ottawa West Koa Journey
4.4
( 8 reviews )

2826 Johnston Rd, Renfrew, ON K7V 3Z8, Canada

“This is not a family friendly campground, despite the mini putt and jumper at the park. Unenforced park rules, rude overnighters, alcohol and dogs at the beach. Sites are SO close together. The park is very noisy during the day and past the supposed quiet time at night, all night. Worst camping experience in 30 years of camping. Will never return.”

Cardinal / Ottawa South Koa Holiday
4.2
( 8 reviews )

609 Pittston Rd RR # 1, Cardinal, ON K0E 1E0, Canada

“We’ve stayed at the Cardinal KOA for many years. Our boys loved coming here over the summer months and we were regulars. We still enjoy the park but it’s slowly going down hill since Karen and Dan sold the property. There is definitely a difference in a negative way. Maintenance is a problem, RV pads are grassy, in need of levelling and crushed stone, men’s bathroom smells like urine, one of the showers wasn’t working, they had a tent site with a levelled sandy pad that is no longer levelled and full of weeds. Wifi was never great at this park but it did work, now it doesn’t work at all. Noticed the park was half occupied, no lineups for the chip and pizza truck. This is odd for a mid August weekend as it’s always been a really busy time for this park. One thing to note, prices have gone up to 105 a night (taxes in) for a non sewer site. In my opinion, that’s steep in comparison to other equivalent parks. Staff is NOT accommodating for a simple request such as an emergency pump out during serviceable, reasonable times. Considering this is a family park, these things due happen. After 8 years, this will be our last stay at the Cardinal KOA.”
