“The owner clearly cares about his guests. The hostel feels like a beloved family member, it’s so clean, organized and full of happy people, at least in my experience. Certified vibe. Pulled up 10pm, cute German girl helped me check in. They showed me around the place everyone super friendly. My room was nicer than i expected and the bathroom was cleaner than i expected as well. Great local T.O dickens literally 5 min walk open 24/hrs if you fly in late. After I got a late meal, I was able to meet some cool cats on the interior roof that’s separated from outside so it wasn’t freezing. Would definitely recommend to others”

“A family member and I stayed at Inn On The Twenty for a few days over Christmas and the service was absolutely exceptional from check-in to check-out. Everyone was so friendly, very helpful, funny, and extremely polite. The attention to detail in our room was fantastic... room was clean and immaculate! We were celebrating our birthdays and other successes and so the team had left us a cute a little note, along with little treats and pretty cool toques! I will definitely be coming back here in the summer! It was worth every minute! Their restaurant across the street serves some of thee best food and their scallops are to die for! The service was top-tier too! I can't rave enough about our stay here!”

“The staff are friendly. The place is tidy and clean inside and out. The suite is very clean and spacious. Very pet friendly. If I had negatives, the continental breakfast was not stocked up as well as it should have been, they kept running out of items before it was over. Also there is kids nonstop running the halls. We've had to call the front desk several times over this issue. I'll be expecting compensation over this.”

“Run-down hotel right on the highway. The studios are nice in themselves, but are getting old. They include a bedroom, a bathroom with a bathtub, a living area with a desk and sofa, and a kitchen with a stove, microwave and refrigerator. There is also a grill downstairs next to the lobby for roasting meat or vegetables. The fitness offers some cardio equipment, such as free weights. Unfortunately, the pool is only shallow, so you can't really swim in it. The room cards stop working every two days and the problem cannot be solved. There is a Walmart right next to it, which is very clever.”

“Recently stayed here for a one night staycation with my husband as a break from parenting young kiddos. It was amazing! The service was exceptional.We were upgraded to the suite style room- it has two large TVs, two entrances, and two bathrooms. It included a rainfall shower and soaker tub. It felt very restful and spacey. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept the best I have in months. Yay, no child wake ups. The room service for breakfast was delicious and very quick. The location can't be beat steps from Rideau Centre and great market restaurants. I have tried a few trendy and central Ottawa hotels for staycations in the past couple of years. They were all great but this experience was my favourite. I hope to go again soon if we can get the grandparents' support!!”

“Just spent a weekend at BonnieView celebrating a friend's milestone birthday. Lovely little inn, great service, cozy rustic main lounge area, and excellent food and drink. A relaxing and enjoyable spot. I can imagine what it must be like in the summer enjoying the lake. Highly recommend. And the breakfasts were awesome - hearty and filling, and the best part is that they serve real Canadian maple syrup with your waffles and french toast! :)”

“We had a wonderful stay over Christmas visiting relatives in London Ontario. We brought 2 dogs with us and there is a great grassy area with trash cans and poop bags. Also a good breakfast available and coffee all day. The staff were very friendly and the room very clean and cozy. Also a pool is open long hours for a nice swim. Will definitely stay there again. “Honestly one of the cleanest hotels I have been too in a while. Besides a small cosmetic crack on the AC exterior and a rusty door in the ceiling (probably to access some plumbing or wiring), it was spotless. No hair in the towels or the showers, no rusty shower head, dirty floors, no dust, nothing. I don't know if this hotel is newer, but it was definitely clean. Other hotels need to take note. Separating a small part of your budget to replacing towels/linen every quarter/6 months or replacing shower heads or toilet seats. No one wants mildew on their shower head, someone else's hair in their towels and sheets/pillows or deteriorating toilet seats. Breakfast was the same the two days I was there, the only thing that changed was the eggs went from cheese omelet to scrambled, and there were potatoes one day and not the other. However, still a full variety. Front desk attendees were all nice, and the on-duty supervisor texts you everyday to make sure there isn't anyone that can be done to improve your stay!”

“Fantastic value. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Beds are amazing! We were pleasantly surprised when, during check in, we were told that we could expect a Continental breakfast and it turned out it was an American style breakfast with egg and sausage. We got more than we expected. The hotel is located centrally. Nothing much to see apart from big stores and parking lots as a view, but the value trumps the lack of anything picturesque out the window. 🙂 Recommended.”

This hotel seemed a bit older and starting to look run down, but our room was fine. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Good enough for an overnight stay. Pricey for what it was, but comparable to the other similar hotels in the area.”
