“One of my all time favourite spots for chili chicken. Chung Moi is a family owned restaurant with a small cozy interior. I notice there’s regulars that come often as the owners (who are there most of the time when I visit), seem to recognize them. Their menu has a variety of dishes to choose from, but I mainly only tried their chili chicken. There are 2 options to choose from - with gravy or dry. Both versions are amazing, it’s just dependent if you’re looking for more sauce. Personally I prefer the dry because usually sauce would make the chicken not as crispy, so the dry version tends to be crispier. There is a kick (even with mild spiciness), so be prepared if you’re not good with spicy food. Also be mindful the chili chicken doesn’t come with rice, so you’ll have to order it separately. “Went here for dinner and sat outside their patio. Food was interesting, I liked majority of the dishes, but just wish the portions could be a tad bigger. The menu does change as they cater to what’s in season. The shrimp and curry were definitely my favourite. The servers were also accommodating to allergies, but couldn’t guarantee cross contamination.”

“Many people order the beef bone soup noodles, as it comes in a very large portion in 2 bowls. Ask the server for scissors ✂️ to help cut the meat off the bone. They could boil it a bit longer so that the tendon meat is softer. Prices are reasonable based on the portion sizes. The restaurant decor is very modern and upscale, with lots of fake plants. They are quite busy on weekends.”

“Found this place by chance when searching for an izakaya for a last-minute dinner with friends. They take reservations online (up to a certain size of party, which is similar to many other restaurants), which is good. They have a good selection of small plates, mains, and other sharables, as well as cocktails and beer. Most of the dishes we tried were good. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant wasn't too packed for a Friday night, but consistently busy. The interior is quite spacious, with big tables and roomy booths and is clean and bright. When we went, they were playing popular hits, but later in the meal, a DJ was set up and played old school hip hop and R&B music. The location is conveniently off Highway 7. Parking directly in the lot outside the restaurant can get busy, but there's plenty of parking just across the street in the next plaza.”
